[This is open to everyone but it is mainly for Vasilisa and Adrian, if you wish to join, join, there's no stopping other people turning up at the lake]
The Elic Lake was larger than he had anticipated, he had been here for over a year now and he was still ignorant about the different places around the island. The deepest he had travelled to was probably the shopping centre to buy food when his roommate was too lazy to do anything. The water was crystal clear, a reflection of the landscape was printed evenly on the open water. The dim sunlight danced in sparkling light along the middle area, showing it was after school and heading towards twilight.
Sitting on a large tree root was Adrian Ozera, he had wanted to get a little quiet time, away from his roommate who had some serious issues with talking to himself and everything like that so he came out here where it was dead quiet, clean and peaceful.
Adrian slid down the root a little, bark breaking off behind him, this was so he could sit in a more comfortable position, the tree root was beginning to dig into him. He sat with his knees up and his arms rested on them. His delicate violinist fingers picking at a piece of broken off bark to occupy him so he wouldn't get bored. Next to him was his bag, inside was his cell phone, iPod, a jacket (since he was only wearing jeans and a t-shirt at the time) and in a smaller compartment he hid his sleeping pills. Who knows when he would need them to feel relaxed. Although, staring out at water was doing a fine job at the time.

Vasilisa walked along the edge of the lake. She felt somewhat calm, since she hadn't needed to use her powers for a while. The lake looked very beautiful with the sun shineing on it. It looked like thousands of little gems were reflecting on the surface of the water.
She continued on to go to her favotite spot, which was by the large tree with giant roots. That was where you got the best view....But someone was already sitting there. She smiled a little. Maybe she could uyse this an an opportunity to meet someone new! She stepeed forward hesitantly and gave a small shy smile. "Hello. Do you like this spot too?" She looked up hesitantly and then looked straight back down.

Adrian leaned back in the small spot he had created from sliding off one of the tree roots, he sat between two of them so his back was nestled up against the large tree trunk behind him. He rested his head on it as he stared up a the sky, watching the different colours radiate from where the sun was, slowly going from orange, to red, to purple, to blue and getting darker, it was a magnificent sight. He wished he could stay out here always, it was secluded, away from pestering people.
One of them had spoken to him just now, too.
For a brief moment, bright, fiery orange eyes flickered over to the girl and looked back onto the lake but he had to glance back (as if like a double take), she was actually... kind of pretty. Sure lots of other girls were pretty at the school but he hadn't seen someone with beauty and kindness bounce off them like that. "Yeah," He lied, this was his first time here down at the lake. But, he remembered the colour of his eyes and he glanced back down at the water and the lights dancing around on the water, glistening like a trance.

Vasilisa smiled when he looked up at her. She didn't understand why he looked up again but she was happy anyway. He was going to talk to her! Someone was going to talk to her! She looked at his eyes for a moment. His eyes...were very attractive. They stood out above anything else on his face. She sat down next to him on the root. She looked up hesitantly "Do you mind...?" She looked quickly back to the lake. "So whats your reason for coming here?" Her voice was low, almost a whisper. Her moment of outgoing chracter was basically over and now she was unsure of how to keep up the conversation.

Adrian was hoping the girl would just leave after noticing that someone else was in her 'spot' and go find another to enjoy this amazing sunset. But, no, she had to sit next to him, next to him on the tree root. What was wrong with the rock down there? He narrowed his eyes a little as his vision was locked on the forever changing colours on the water and the glistening sparkles here and there from the sun's rays. He took a deep, subtle breath, realising she probably wasn't going to go anywhere and there was no stopping other people coming here so he nodded, "No," He replied, hoping it'd be the end of their conversation.
Again, wrong. So wrong it wasn't funny. She probably felt awkward from the silence, understandable but he didn't care how silent it was as long as he could just enjoy what he came here for. Which is what she asked about. He leaned further back between the tree's roots and closed his eyes halfway, "Nothing in particular," He said flatly. He would end the conversation there. But something inside his mind was yelling at him to continue the conversation on, he came here to be accepted, right? So why was he being so cold to people...? A little conversing didn't hurt anybody.. "You?" He said.

Vasilisa frowned as he basically put out that he wanted to end the conversation. He wasn't...really very friendly. That made her a bit sad. Sure, she didn't talk to many people but she really was just a bit shy and that was it. She wondered if he had any friends. With that attitude...probabaly not.
Her face visibly lit up when he returned her question. She smiled a little and hesitantly looked at him, her smile a little awkward and embarresed, like a teacher had just called on her in class. "I just wanted to escape from everything for a little while. Just away from school and people and that hospital..."

Interesting reason to be out here. Adrian still didn't bother looking at her as they conversed. He just wanted her to hurry up and realise it was getting late. It wasn't, really, his phone told him that they still had quite a few hours until they absolutely had to be in their dormitories or whatever. His eyes were fixated on the dancing sparkles that radiated from the sun's final rays as it was heading down the horizon, forming the evening sky.
"Why?" He asked her, again with a flat voice. He may as well keep her happy and everything while she was there, but he wasn't going to try too hard. At least this way, he didn't have to talk so much.

Vasilisa paused for a moment. She didn't really know if she should open up to this boy. T'zenshin Institute encouraged it's students to be open with their abilities. But....she still felt uneasy if she opened up to someone about her abilities. She looked down and then looked up to the lake. "Do you go to the T'zenshin Insitutue?"

Ah, she changed the subject. No matter, he didn't really care for her reasons for being out there anyway. She had changed it to an obvious question, did he look older than an eleventh year or something? He shrugged it off and nodded, "Yes, do you?" Maybe she didn't, maybe she just worked at the hospital. He made sure he didn't look at her very much, or even not at all since he didn't want her commenting on his eyes, he really needed to get some contacts.

Vasilisa nodded and smiled a little. "Yes. I'm an eleventh year..." her voice faded out when she realized that he looked oddly familiar. She tried to place where she might have seen his face. Where....She knew she had.
Then it clicked. "We a few classes togeather, don't we? I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you!" She flushed and looked down, ashamed of herself. How could she not have recognized him?

Ah, that was just great now wasn't it. She was in the same year as he was. Eleventh. Most likely in one of his classes, or even more, especially subjects like Physical Education, History and all that crap. Ugh. He'd most likely see her during school hours now. Not what he wanted... but.. it was out of his control, he couldn't just not see her or tell her to never come near him again. Because..
What reason did he have? Was he going to walk up to her say 'I don't want you near me' for no reason at all..? He wasn't that cruel..
"Yes, but I tend to sit at the back, so," He trailed off a little, keeping his fiery coloured eyes on the lake water, the sun was beginning to move further down the horizon, causing an eerie yet placid feel to play out on the water's surface, the dancing sparkles were ceasing as there was no more light to reflect off the water. It would soon become still, dark and most definitely cold. Swallowing, he tilted his head up at the darkening sky, watching the remaining clouds that he could see, "Sunrises are always more interesting than sunsets.." He mused aloud as he watched the changing colours.

Vasilisa nodded a little, keeping her eyes locked at the ground. "Yes, I remember now." She paused before looking up at him hesitantly. "I'm sorry." She offered feebly. She looked back down, unhappy at herself for not noticeing this nice (though rather withdrawn and unsociable, it seemed) boy.
She nodded at his statement. "Maybe. Personally I like the sunset better. It's the end of a day. Sunrise only means enduring through more." She was talking mostly to herself, not thinking about what she was saying.

Adrian glanced over to her briefly, wondering why the hell she was being sorry. He shrugged it off for a few moments before he grew curious and wanted to know what she was on about, he opened his mouth to speak, "Why are you sorry for?" He asked, a gentle edge in his voice for once, she was a pretty girl... she was being very kind and patient with his rudeness and antisocial nature. So, he should try and be kind but argh, she was getting on his nerves.
He had heard her speak, he just chose not to answer straight away, he continued to watch the darkening colours form over the sky. Yes, sunsets were very beautiful, but watching a sunrise was more magical than the day turning into a vicious thing called night. "Have you seen a sunrise? There's just something more about them that makes you stop and watch," Only people who wake up early enough to see them would know their beauty, to see the morning dew drops on the leaves glisten with rainbow sparkles.

Vasilisa looked up when she heard him speak with a much kinder tone. It was...rather shocking. But it did make her happy that he cared at least a little about how she felt. Not many people did. "I...just felt bad about not noticeing you....I wish I had before...You actually have the patience to talk to me." She gave a small smile. No one really wanted to bother with her. Maybe there was something about her that just seemed to scream that she had a problem. And she did...and she didn't deserve any attention no matter how much she tried to help others.
She nodded a little, watching the sky turn the faintest tinge of pink. "Yes. I have. I always wake up early for sunrise. Even when I was a little girl. I admit it's impressive...but...I always found sunset as a relief." A reprive from the light that she had always tried so hard to reach. It was easier to just stay in the darkness.

Adrian was trying his best to keep a small smile plastered on his face, enough to seem convincing to the girl so she would stop asking questions about whether or not he was okay or whether or not he wanted her to stay there. He did. Kind of. Mostly he wanted to be alone but he would welcome company, it felt a little nice to have her around, their was something about her aura. "Hah. Don't be sorry for that," He said, shaking his head a little, what a silly thing to be sorry over.
Her comment about sunsets and sunrises made him think for a moment and somewhat caught on to what she was trying to say. She obviously had a bit of a rough time with everything and a sunset would introduce the end of it for awhile. "Yes it can be seen as that, but," He glanced up at the darkening sky, "I always think sunrises are more beautiful, showing that it's the start of a new day, clean slate, able to do things right and to show you to keep on moving," He hadn't realised he had spoken so much but it was just what he thought. He got up every morning, early enough to see the sunrise from the horizons and always thought to himself; it's a new day, I'll do it different this time and things will be better.
