She started walking with him, happy -so so very happy- to be talking with someone. Not about the benefits of her powers or about how much profit could be gathered from her powers. It was someone who could relate to all the pain and loneliness other put them through.
At his statement Lissa nodded. "Yeah. It really is when you think about it. But I guess with the fact that this is a school for gifted people....But still....it's pretty weird."

Adrian agreed, it may have been a school for the gifted but the fact that they had met on this island and had gone for the same reasons made it seem like something higher up was messing around.
"Must be fate, haha," He joked, gently nudging her in the arm as they walked up the school dormitories. The walk was nice, cool and quiet with the odd conversation here and there but the silence they shared wasn't awkward like it would've been with others.
At the lobby, where they had to go separate ways, Adrian turned to face Vasilisa. "I guess this is good night then?"

She smiled all the more, blushing a bit at the contact as he nudged her arm. "Yeah. I guess so." And considering how fate had messed up their lives so much, it seemed like it was only fair that fate give something to compensate.
She frowned a little before quickly placeing the smile back. "I guess so." She leaned forward, giving him a light hug. "Goodnight."

Adrian wasn't expecting the hug, so when she leaned forward, he panicked a little, and stumbled a few steps before he realised her arms were around him in a light hug. He relaxed and his arms gingerly (at first) slipped back around her, returning the hug. He stood there for around ten seconds or so, just enjoying the warmth she gave off, and how natural it felt.
"You.. take care, okay?" He said, releasing himself from the embrace. He turned to walk away, his hands in his pockets but he turned his head to glance back at her, a smile on his lips, "See you tomorrow," With that, he headed up to his dorm, his mind replaying everything that happened, the smile never leaving his lips.
