It was a Saturday afternoon, just around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The sun was up in the sky shinning, with a few clouds within the bright blue sky. Sitting on one of the park benches near a pathway in the park was Alice. She had her hair down, swinging her feet back and forth under the bench. She was wearing a white sleeveless spring dress that went down to about her knees. There was a lavender bow just under her ribcage that tied in the back. To match, she had on lavender slip on shoes on her feet, with little bows on top of the toes. On her head was a white summer hat, the kind that was a bit too big for a person's head and folded around the edges a bit. She loved these kinds of hats because then they would cast a shadow and she would have less of a chance of getting sun burned!
Enough about what she was wearing, though! As she swung her feet, her lips would vibrate slightly as she hummed to herself. Her eyes were scanning the park, just watching people as they enjoyed their Saturday. She was trying to study humans for her being human class. She was starting to see more of their "good" side. She let out a soft laugh, her humming getting slightly louder. The song was "Don't Rain on my Parade". She lifted her gaze from the boy and girl playing frisbee to the blue sky, letting the lyrics from the song slip from her mouth. "If someone takes a spill its me and not you, who told you you're aloud to rain on my parade~?"
Today just... seemed to be a interesting day. She was excited for what was to come, though she wasn't sure why. She still had the feelings that... all humans were bad but... with her being human class... she was starting to learn more about them and that... not all of them are bad.

One of Faye's favourite seasons happened to be Spring, even though it normally brought storms with it, she always loved the warm, yet cool weather that made getting through the day just that much easier.
Today, at around two o'clock, Faye had decided to take a walk through the Scion park, just to breathe the fresh cool air that blew gently across the island, the day almost free of clouds in the sky. She had decided to wear a dress that had an elastic band around the bottom but it was very small and wasn't very noticable. The dress was white until the end of her bust, there being another elastic band in a powder blue colour that put emphasis on her small waist. The rest of the dress was the same powder blue colour. Underneath this she wore black tights in case the wind decided to be mean. On her feet were a simple pair of white sandals.
During her walk through the park, she saw someone she found familiar. Although the attire put her off, completely different to the person she thought it looked like. Faye stopped, her eyes flooding with curiosity as she took a few steps near the park bench where a girl sat, swinging her feet. "A-Alice?" Faye called out as she stood two metres or so from the girl. Oh, it'd be embarrassing if it wasn't her!

Alice blinked, her humming stopping almost immediately as she heard her name. Her head turned almost automatically as well, blinking as she saw the person who had called her name. Faye Clement? Oh she hadn't seen Faye since the clock tower... she was actually kind of surprised that Faye had remembered her name.
She had stopped swinging her legs, slowly standing up and smiling slightly as she waved to Faye. "Faye~ What are you doing here...?" She was generally curious. She hardly left the school to see other students outside of the school. Then again, if she wanted to become more human.. she needed to get out more. She laughed slightly, tilting her head down a bit out of embarrassment. "I'm.. kind of... surprised you remember my name, actually. "

Faye sighed in relief.
It was Alice. That made her feel a lot better, she would have hated to have mistaken this girl for someone else.
But no matter~! It was Alice and that was the main thing.
Being her usual self, Faye stepped forward, her arms wrapping around Alice's middle in a light, friendly hug. "I just came for a walk to enjoy the nice, beautiful day today, what are you doing here?" She returned the question as she broke the embrace, stepping back a few steps as the two stood in front of the wooden bench.
"Re-really? Well.. I'm good with names and well... You're hard to forget!"

Confusion seemed to come to Alice's face as Faye had hugged her, Alice's hands staying at her side as Faye's wrapped around her middle. She wasn't exactly... sure what to do. Nor did she understand why Faye was doing such an action. Hugging was for... loved ones ... wasn't it? No, no... she remember hugging her... friend so long ago.. that.. she had...
Alice quickly shook her head of the bad thought, and of her confusion, lifting her arms and hugging Faye back. Thought it was a bit awkward, as she had hugged Faye back after Faye had taken a step back. Smiling a bit nervously, she took a step back and placed both her hands behind her back. Hopefully that... wouldn't have come off as... too ... weird.
"Me? Just watching others having fun.... And me hard to forget? Haha.. I've heard that before." Biting her lip lightly, she looked to the side. Oh yes, the legends back in Romania about her... she was hard to forget when ... well, she murdered an entire village and close to an entire country. That was the past though! The past... which was to stay in the past.
"Oh~! By the way, that is a very cute dress. I like the powder blue color of it. It.. matches your eyes."

Faye didn't notice how awkward the hug was for Alice, she was just very friendly with everyone she met that she would hug them when they met up again. A light cool breeze brushed up against the two of them, Faye's dark purple locks swaying with the direction of the wind. "Surely you could have some fun of your own? Or maybe we could together~?" She said, her voice full of energy and warmth.
A light blush rose to her cheeks from the compliment, she glanced down at her attire, and then back at Alice's, "Awh, thank you, I think yours is cute, too! The lavender flats are adorable~~!" A small giggle escaped her lips as she spoke.

As the light breeze blew by the two, Alice's hand instinctively went to her head to keep her hat upon it. It was known for the hat to easily be taken from her head by the wind. Hearing the compliment about her shoes, though, a light blush tinged her pale cheeks. Yes, it was true, even a vampire could get tinged cheeks. She wasn't like most vampires~
"Well thank you~ And if you.. wouldn't mind me tagging along I would very much enjoy having some fun together. Though I'm.. not entirely sure what we could do... " A nervous laugh escaped her lips, Alice looking down to her feet. She narrowed her eyes slightly though, as another breeze of wind brought a certain scent to her... There was the cry of a child nearby, Alice slowly lifting her head. The child had fallen and scrapped his knee, and of course there was a bit of blood. Perfect. "There's my.. social awkwardness kicking in again. Shall we go for a walk? I'm suddenly getting antsy. "

The way Alice was acting made Faye giggle again. She didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge when it came to socialising with others and making conversation. But it didn't matter! Faye would help her along and Faye always had something in mind that would be fun to do!
"A walk sounds nice, and how about we go swing on the swings over there too?" She said as she pointed to the swing set across the park that would probably be two to three minute walk if they walked quickly. Faye's hearing wasn't as enhanced as Alice's so the child falling over had completely bypassed her.

Getting away from the scent was the first thing on her mind at the moment. Alice turned her attention away from the scent and followed Faye's finger to the swing set, a laugh escaping her lips. Swings! Oh, how she loved them when she was younger! Of course they were ... more primitive and made of wood when she used them so long ago but... oh how the thought of the swings made her heart --.. well... would have made it skip if she had one. She smiled back to Faye, her smiled just seeming to beam like a child's smile. "I'll race you there, Faye!"
Taking her hat from her head and grasping it firmly in her hand, she laughed once more, starting to count. "Ready? One.. two... three!"

As Alice replied, Faye saw an emotion that she hadn't seen from her before. The smile was like a child, it was so young looking, and happy. It made a smile of her own spread across her lips as she noticed this.
However, she then registered what Alice was imposing.
A race?
But, but.. Faye hated running! Exercise in general! She panicked a little but a little race wouldn't harm anything, would it?
"A-ah! O-okay!" She said as she bolted for the swing set as Alice finished saying the word 'three'. No doubt she would lose, Faye may be skinny but she was far from fit.

Though it was just a playful race, Alice still giggled as she ran towards the swing set with Faye following. It seemed that Faye had been caught a bit off guard as she mentioned the race, and as she slowly came to a stop near the swing set she looked to Faye who was only slightly behind her. She was a bit out of breath, letting out a laugh and holding up her hand that was holding her hat.
"I win~! But that was a good race, Faye! You were right behind me!" Oh~ This was the most fun she was having in years. She wasn't dwelling on how, or why... she was just in the moment. She sat down lightly upon the swing, placing her hat lightly in the sand next to her. She also slipped off her shoes, sliding her feet into the warm sand. She closed her eyes halfway, feeling the warmth of the sand over her feet. It felt nice... especially since she was so used to ... not feeling anything.
Shaking her head of the thought, she gripped the chains of the swing and pushed lightly with her feet. "I'm already having so much fun, Faye, and we have yet to really do anything! This is the first time I've ever really ... done something with another person in a couple years. It's...nice. " And it truly was nice. She had no sarcasm or cynicism in her voice... it was ... all very true. The voice she.. tended to have... where she had the hint of superiority had disappeared. It .. it was almost like she was a different person than the person that Faye had met the day in the clock tower.

Faye trailed and failed miserably behind Alice, she fell to the ground on the sand, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a few deep breaths, standing up again, brushing the sand from her dirtied knees. "Running isn't really my forte, you see," She laughed it off, it was just for fun, not really a competition or worth a grade, so she could just let it slide.
Seeing Alice slip her shoes off, Faye did the same, taking the swing next to the girl. "I'm glad you're having so much fun, because I am too! It's fun to spend time with someone else for a change," She had been such a rough time with boys, Haruka was hanging out with that Rai guy more and she was just.. in need of another friend to talk to, to spend time with and to just forget the world with.

Alice let out a soft laugh as Faye stood back up, dusting her knees. She turned her head slightly to look at Faye as she sat down on the swing, already swinging herself lightly back and forth. Not too high, but not too low either, she was about in the middle. "But you made it, and that's good. And oh --!"
Upon her realization, she had stopped herself from swinging. She didn't think to see if Faye was having a good time too. That.. that was what friends did, wasn't it? Had fun with.. each other. From what she remembered, that was true. With Aurore... She felt her muscles tense slightly at the thought, quickly shaking her head. "I-I'm glad that you're having fun too! I-i'm sorry I was... being kind of selfish for a moment.. and.. forgot to ask and see if.. you were having fun too."

Faye's swinging slowly came to a halt as she noticed Alice pause, she glanced at the girl beside her. A moment of silence passed before she laughed, "Oh Alice~ Don't worry about that, it's not like I'm going to storm out on you because of it, I'm just glad we're both having fun~" Okay, she had fun with Haruka sometimes but they were like polar opposites. With Alice.. she could be herself and not feel.. weird about it afterwards.
"How about we see how high we can go~?" She said as her swinging picked up again, moving her legs to make the swing push further into the air.

She watched Faye begin to swing herself, a small smile coming to her lips as she kicked from the ground and began swinging to see how high she could go too. "That sounds like fun~! Tell me, Faye.. What are some other things you like to do~? I mean.. you must have.. come to this school for a reason, right?"
Yes, asking questions was a good way to get to know someone. Everyone must have come to this school for one reason or another... She certainly did. A place to be herself, to start over. To try and live her life once more and ... not drink the blood of humans every again. That was a good way to start over, right? But was it truly a good thing to go against ... a person's nature... to try and be something that they weren't? Of course.. it... it was for the better good.
