Hard At Work (Pfft) {Harai, SFF}

[Faye]

Much to Rai Aikaryu's surprise and much to his happiness, Haruka Amagi, his new girlfriend managed to get back to the T'zenshin Island to attend school there still. She didn't have to stay in Japan with her grandparents and mother. Though Rai felt a little selfish, he still loved the fact that he was with her still, that she was so close. He wouldn't have been able to live properly if she didn't come back.

So, back in the Student Freedom Force office, Rai sat at one of the desk's inside, sorting through some papers that weren't finished while they Spring Break was in session. Most members were inactive and had gone on trips. That's the thing with attending school there, you weren't with family and didn't return to them every night after school.

Rai liked it, but he missed his sister, Suri. His mother probably wouldn't send her to the Island anyway. He should probably call them...

With a blue pen sitting in his left hand, he tapped the pen impatiently against the paper. He wasn't sure what he should be doing now. He wondered when the SFF would strike again, hopefully soon, he joined to cause a bit of chaos and strife for the Student Council as well as see them fall and see eye to eye with them that all Students should be treated equally.

"Neee, Haru-chan, do you know when the next school event is?" Surely there was something on this month. The school wasn't that bland.

[Nicolette]

Haruka Amagi had made a full recovery and Yukari and Ryotaro Amagi believed it would be best if their granddaughter went back to the island with Rai Aikaryu, seeing how much of an impact he made on the girl. And so, the girl was finally back at school, though she had yet to stop wearing bandages around her forearms. She used to just have her bare cuts brush against her uniform sleeves, but since the incident, she was afraid of Rai seeing her old scars, which he'd yet to see.

She had been spending much of her time working on ideas to sabotage the Student Council. Mainly stuff like putting fake viruses on their computer systems, locking the office and changing the locks so they couldn't get in, stealing their paperwork and hiding it, and stuff like that. Harmless, but completely hilarious.

Haruka looked up when her boyfriend spoke from beside her. She thought for a moment before replying within two seconds of his question. "Our next event is at the beginning of May. The Spring Festival."

[Faye]

May.

That was bloody next month. Well obviously no big events were going to be happening soon so they would have to find something little to amuse their little heads (little heads being Rai, mostly) with. Rai had a few ideas and liked some of Haruka's, especially locking them out of their offices.

"We need to do something to Council, it's been so long since the Dance that they're probably too relaxed," Which would make it even funnier and more shocking to them, actually, now that he thought about it. "Why don't we just change their locks like you said?" For Haruka it wouldn't take that long at all. She was good like that.

[Nicolette]

"The thought is tempting, though, I can't do much until I finish up my research." Haruka had been working on getting the Student Council files complete as well as looking over the floor plans and such of the Student Council room. She needed to also find what type of locks to replace the old ones with.

However, when Haruka stood up from her chair and walked over to her filing cabinet, she discovered something terribly amiss. She opened the drawer and reached in to grab Sven Carlisle's file, in order to double check some data, and raised an eyebrow when she found that Sven's profile was no longer there. In fact, it had been replaced entirely by random information on a...television show?

"....Koibito..." Haruka started, using her affectionate nickname for the boy (Japanese for sweetheart), "You haven't been messing around in my files, have you?"

[Faye]

Rai pouted and buried his head in his folded arms across the table top, his eyes still open and staring down at the grained wood through the single ray of light coming in through the gaps between his arms and the surface.

His head rolled a little so he could look up at Haruka as she started to speak to him, his heart fluttering at the sound of the endearment she had chosen for him. He needed one for her now... What to call her? While he thought of that it took him a bit to register that she was asking him about the file.

When he brought himself back to reality he blinked, "No... I wouldn't do that to you," He felt a little hurt at the slight accusation since well, he was quite dedicated to the SFF that he wouldn't just mess around. "Why? What's up?

[Nicolette]

Haruka took out a couple of the folders, walking back to the table they'd been working at. She set them down and opened each one, starting with Sven's again, then moving on to Nicolette De la Fontaine's, then Miles Kroma's, Rhiannon Levenworth, Klaus Leighton... All of them were replaced with something completely random.

"...I must speak with Kyerin-san..." She muttered, her voice sounding troubled as she ran her fingers through her hair. A spy? An invader? Someone from Student Council finding them? This was very much something to worry about, considering this meant someone had seen her research and had taken the printed copies. She needed to check if her flashdrive with the original data was still with Kyerin.

She tose her eyes back up to her boyfriend's. "Let's take out work elsewhere..." She suggested. She walked over to her briefcase first, though, and opened it, finding a separate pocket inside which she shuffled around. It was a small camera, which she planned to use in-full. She carried the little camera over to her filing cabinet and did some work to move things around. She was able to completely disguise the camera atop the filing cabinet.

With that set, she walked back to her things and pulled out a small little remote from the pocket she pulled the camera from. She shut up her briefcase and shouldered her backpack before helping Rai gather their files up. "Let's relocate to your dormitory. That way, I can drop by Kyerin-san's room to discuss with him my missing files."

[Faye]

Rai's eyes widened as Haruka showed him what had been done, every single Student Council file had been replaced with random information on some television shows. Most of them were old ones and were hardly on anymore, apart from the random comedy channels.

Something pinged in his heart when she said she had to speak to Kyerin, there was still something about him that Rai didn't like but he concealed it and nodded to her. He busied himself with looking at the television shows used and found out some weird stuff in the progress.

"Alright," He replied, getting up from the table to gather his things up, bag and all that stuff. He slung it over his shoulder and leaned over to gently press his lips to her warm, soft cheek.

[Nicolette]

Haruka flushed pink at the feeling of her boyfriend's lips against her cheek, but offered him a weak smile as they headed toward the door leading out into the hall. Haruka turned to press the button to turn on the camera and slipped it into her uniform pocket as she locked the door and walked out of the room with Rai.

The pair walked together until they came to the boys' dormitories. Haruka paused to turn to Rai and she handed him the files she had been holding. "I'm going to head up first to speak to Kyerin-san." She took the top file from his stack. "I'll meet you in your dormitory room once I finish reporting this disaster." She leaned up on her tiptoes to press a small kiss upon his lips before turning to walk into the dormitory building, heading for the elevator.

[Faye]

Rai smiled and left the office with his girlfriend, following behind her yet it seemed he was beside her at the same time.

Their silence was comforting instead of awkward and it didn't take long for them to end up at the lobby for the boy's dormitories. Once there, he looked to Haruka who was speaking to him and had taken the top file of the stack of files that he was holding for her. It wasn't too much but it was growing uncomfortable. He nodded, "Okay see yo--" He was cut off by her soft lips touching his, he briefly returned her kiss as he was entranced with the kiss she had given him and hadn't realised he was meant to return it.

He watched her go into one of the elevators and went into the next one, pressing up and the button for floor three. Once the elevator dinged, Rai stepped out and went to the second room in the hallway, fishing around for his keys with left hand and unlocked the door. "I'm home my fishies~!" He called out as he closed the door behind him with his foot. He sat the pile of papers on the table and went over to his small aquarium.

"And how are you today? Hungry?" He laughed as he picked up their container of food from the top of the glass and sprinkled it around on top of the water.

[Nicolette]

Haruka had gone up to Kyerin's dormitory, but she predicted she wouldn't be returning on time, like she had planned. She had been caught up in a few problems, thanks to Kyerin, which left her heading down to Rai's room and walking to his room and knocking. When the door opened, she sighed and handed him the file she'd taken earlier, giving him an apologetic look as she wandered in to take her briefcase (which she had left with him).

"I promise to return soon... Kyerin-san..." She paused and shook her head. "Long story short, I have to go the Student Council President's dormitory room. I shouldn't be too long, but go ahead and go about your normal evening process. I shall return within the hour, or call you if something comes up."

She paused again before stepping forward to press her lips to his again, letting herself linger in his touch for a long moment before sighing as she drew away. "I'll be back."

[Faye]

While he anxiously awaited Haruka's return, Rai talked to his fish, asking them different questions and watched them swim swiftly through the water like it was air. He then got up off the floor and went into his kitchen to grab something to drink, he stared at the shelves aimlessly before he decided on a simple soda.

He opened the can, the noise and the fizzing scaring his fish and causing them to hide behind the several toy-like objects he had in there for them.

He shook his head and sat down on the couch. He hadn't even sat down for a few minutes when he heard a knock on his door. He sat his soda down on a coaster and eagerly went to the door to see if it was Haruka. And it was. But she seemed apologetic...

He watched her take her briefcase and heard that something a little worse had gone down and he frowned, now he was going to miss out on time with her. He was about to question the Student Council President being involved but then stopped, there would be a logical explanation and he was obviously going to have to wait for it. "Okay... but you have to be back really soon!" He returned her kiss, his hands falling down to her waist as he held her against him for a while.

Slowly, he let her go, watching her go to the door. "Okay."

[Nicolette]

Haruka's suspicions were confirmed.

The printer that had printed off the 'threatening' letter to the Student Council President... It was Nicolette's printer. Whoever had snuck into her room had also used her computer. With some wonderful hacking skills, Haruka was able to discover the time that the computer had been accessed. It was only about twenty minutes or so before school got out, which meant that someone had ditched class in order to perform the deed.

She advised the Student Council President to check the records of students who were missing from their last period classes in order to narrow down the range of suspects. Nicolette had thanked her profusely as she left.

The hacker made her way back to the boys' dormitory, carrying her laptop. She was in deep thought of the earlier conversation she had had with Kyerin. He was... certainly an odd male. In the years she'd known him, she still felt as if he were some sort of mystery. She'd seen leaders of the SFF come and go, but he was different. Others would absolutely terrorize the Student Council, whereas Kyerin wanted to do it in such a way that no one was personally targetted and no harm came to any of them. He was more... calmer than previous leaders.

But his parting words had her wondering if there was some sort of deeper meaning behind them. She doubted he knew her relationship with Rai had moved to the next level... But hadn't he, only two weeks before, turned her down? And another factor was the fact that Nicolette De la Fontaine was in his dormitory room, rather than having contacted him through another source.

By the time she reached Rai's door, she was lost in an endless circle of trying to figure out different meanings. She rose her hand to knock on Rai's door again.

[Faye]

The entire time, Rai had spent playing with his fish. Well, no, not playing, talking to them. They responded with flicking their tails in the water and making odd noises with the rocks. Rai had pulled up a dining room chair up to the aquarium tank, his feet elevated and rested on the wooden cabinet that they were sitting upon.

"Yes I understand that we agree that Government is a stupid subject but so is science, well the other Sciences that I took, Earth and Space seems different," He rambled on, his fish eyeing him.

Then he heard a knock on his door, he lowered his feet to the ground and rose up, the cushion returning to its original state as his body weight left it. His heart thudded in his chest, knowing that it was most likely Haruka, he opened the door, revealing his beautiful girlfriend at the door. Though, she seemed dazed. "Haru-chan? Is everything okay?"

[Nicolette]

Haruka looked up, as if she'd heard her name called from across the room, and blinked before she'd noticed that Rai had, indeed, answered the door and had addressed her. She shook her head lightly and stepped into the room, walking over to the table where their files were spread out.

"It seems we have a third party in the battle between the Student Council and Student Freedom Force." She started, keeping her back to the male as she looked over the various files and paperwork. She then moved them and placed her laptop on the table, opening it up and letting it boot up before she placed the flashdrive Kyerin had given her into the computer. "And from what it looks like, we'll be working with the Student Council in order to eliminate the third party."

[Faye]

Right from when she barely even noticed that he had opened the door and was talking to her, Rai knew that something was up and that she was in some kind of deep thought about it. Rai followed her after closing the door behind them, he tried to keep his eyes around her face instead of trailing down. She had her back to him and she was very...

A-ah! Rai shook his head and mentally slapped himself. The situation was more important.

His eyes widened as she spoke of a third party, he had no idea that this would even happen. Who were they...? They were obviously very bold people. The shock continued as she said they would be working with the Council on it, "Th-the, Council? So they'll know our positions or has Kyerin got something up his sleeve?" He asked as he lifted the dining room chair from in front of the fish tank and placed it back with the table. He then moved beside her as her laptop booted up.
