Fun by the lake~ (Vasilisa and Adrian)

[Natsuki]

Vasilisa fidgeted with the edge of her skirt as she sat down on a tree stump where she and Adrian had been last night. Oh, she was so so very anxious. What if he didn't come? Oh no. She couldn't think about that. That would be a disaster! But no. She just couldn't think about it. He would come. Of course he would come. He did say he would come...But what if he didn't- ARG! No. She needed to just stop worrying. And if he didn't come...well...she'd have to deal with that.

[Faye]

To Adrian, the school day wouldn't finish fast enough.

He sat in his school uniform, through each class, watching the clock tick by, getting closer and closer to the time when the end of school bell rung, signalling that they could leave the hell hole and return to their lives.

Once the bell had finally rung, Adrian had left the classroom quickly, heading back to his dormitory to change into something a little more.. presentable for his trip down to the lake later on.

It was around twenty five to four by the time he had gotten back, so he had a little around five or ten minutes to find something.

No matter, he was a guy, guys were good at that. Upon entering his room, he shut the door behind him, sighing deeply as he pushed himself off the wood, over to his chest of drawers. He picked ou a simple pair of black jeans, to most guys, they were rather tight but he liked wearing them. Being bold, he pulled out the only shirt with white on it that he owned, in the bottom left hand corner was a black and light/dark green splatter pattern crawling up the side of the t-shirt. On his feet, plain black converse sneakers and a black jacket over top.

Without even checking his hair or if his outfit looked alright, he grabbed his phone, iPod, bottle of sleeping pills and his wallet before leaving his dorm. He checked the time, right, ten minutes.

The walk down was quick and he dodged everyone who looked at him, he travelled down a small path to where he found himself at the Elic Lake, seeing the tree they had sat by the last time they were here. Then.. he saw her waiting, Vasilisa. His heart skipped a beat, his cheeks warming up. He had never felt like this when someone entered his presence before, it was new...

But she also understood him.

He wandered over to her, gently tapping her shoulder so she would turn around, "Hey."

[Natsuki]

She jumped slightly at the feeling of someone tapping her on the shoulder, turining around to see who it was. When she saw it was Adrian she couldn't help but smile widely. She rarely felt so...alive around anuone else. She let out a sigh of relief, happy that he did come. "Hey. You came." She shifted slightly so that he could sit on the stump while she sat on a root that stuck out of the ground, providing a good place to sit on.

[Faye]

Hopefully they would just be sitting, talking and maybe throw rocks across the water and not venture out too far. He was wearing a white shirt, he did not want to get it dirty, or even think about getting it dirty. He was bad enough with his washing as it was, part of the reason for having so many dark colours but he thought he needed at least one white shirt.

"Of course I did, I wouldn't pass this up for anything," Including the homework he would have to work through when they returned back to the dormitories. He took a seat beside her on the tree, looking out at the sky as it was still blue and white with the fluffy clouds drifting along. A small smile was permanently plastered on his face, he felt so... different and alive around her, everything fell into place and he knew she understood.

Though the silence was nice, he turned to her, opening his mouth to speak, "How was school?"

She smiled all the more when he said he wouldn't miss this for anything. She...she felt so...happy. She fidgeted with her skirt a bit more, looking down before looking back up at him. "School is okay. You know, nothing special. Especially considering that, well, it's school. What about you?" She looked up at him, some of her hair moving into her face. It got everywere and sometimes, it was too annoying but she had gotten used to ignoring it.

[Faye]

Adrian laughed lightly, nodding in agreement to Lissa's reply. "Same here, really, it doesn't end fast enough, does it?" He said rhetorically.

He noticed her hair begin to blow in front of her face, he chuckled a bit at it, lifting a thin hand to brush it out of her face for her. It was as if he didn't know what he was doing because when he realised what he had done, he snatched his hand back, a dark, red blush rising to his cheeks followed by heat surging through his body. "S-sorry, it just.. it looked like it was bothering you.."

[Natsuki]

Lissa nodded her head. "Yeah. Definitely." Her cheeks went a bright red when he brushed her hair out of her face. She shook off her embarrassment with a smile and shook her head at his statement, more hair moving into her face by the action. "No, no. Don't apologize. It was bothering me. Sometimes I just want to hack all this stuff off...but I don't have the courage to." She moved the hair out of her face, one lock still hanging in her face. She let it go.

[Faye]

Adrian tilted his head to the side in confusion. How could she be afraid to cut her hair off? She did have quite a bit there and it looked very difficult to take care of. Hmm..

"Why is it such a problem? We could go down to the shopping centre if you want and get it cut thinner so you can take care of it.." He suggested, his tone sounding as if he was musing aloud, talking to himself. "But, that's only if you'd like to," He added, a nervous smile curving onto his lips.

[Natsuki]

Lissa shook her head a little. "It's not a problem..it's not even a fear...it's just...clinging on to what you're used to. I could cut my hair, I suppose...if I really wanted to..." She gave a bit of a teaseing smile. "Is there a reason you suggest that? Do you not like my hair? Is there something the matter with it that makes you not like it?" She gave a tiny giggle, smiling even more. Aaah. How she loved to tease!

[Faye]

Adrian understood what she meant by what she had said. He nodded in agreement, he had similar habits but it was more so with his pills than anything.

"A-ah! No, not at all! Your hair is lovely!" He stuttered, feeling cornered as she teased him. He felt irritated by the smile she wore, but it was a sort of... playful irritation that it was easy to smile. He gave her a gentle shove, "It was a mere suggestion, really, I wasn't sure what you wanted to do," He added, a nervous tone riding on his words to match the smile curved on his lips.

[Natsuki]

Lissa almost giggled again as he stuttered and scrambled to find the right words to make up for what he thought she thought had been an insult. She covers her mouth with her right hand to hide her smile, silently laughing. Oh, how it felt so good to be so playful and natural with someone. She gave an innocent smile. "Or was it? Perhaps this is you retaliating against my abundance of hair?"

[Faye]

Okay, now he felt really cornered. He didn't like what she was doing to him, teasing him like this and making his cheeks heat up and deepen in redness. He snapped his head away, puffing his cheeks out in a pout. "You're a meanie, you know what I meant," He muttered as he folded his arms across his chest, the black material of his jacket creasing.

His mini tantrum was a mere joke, he was just waiting to see if Vasilisa would fall for it and become all apologetic and feel guilty for what she had done. Though it seemed far fetched..

[Natsuki]

Vasilisa felt a bit panicked when he crossed his arms and turned his head away. She hadn't meant for him to take him seriously! Shouldn't it have been obvious how she had been teasing?! Maybe it wasn't obvious because maybe she seemed serious?! Oh, she should have known better. She looked down and felt like a complete asshole. "I...I'm sorry. You're right. I had only meant to tease...I'm a jerk...I'm sorry." Now she had messed things up. How could she have messed things up?! Oh...if only she knew how better to be with people...

[Faye]

As his idea had been passed off as far fetched, his eyes widened when he heard Vasilisa's reply. He slowly turned his head back around to her, shaking his head, his arms, out of sheer impulse, wrapped around her small form, pulling her closer to him.

"A-ah! I didn't mean it like that, Lissa, no, I was trying.. to joke around as well, I'm sorry, I was too... serious about it, I should have made it more convincing that I was joking," He apologised to her over and over under his breath, hoping she was going to be alright, their pasts and everything they had been through worried him, worried him that maybe she could lose it. He wasn't sure. His eyes focused on the dancing lights on the water.

Lissa blinked rapidly, shocked at the sudden embrace, her heart crashing against her ribcage. She froze up before relaxing slightly, unfamiliar with the feeling. She felt heat come up into her face, burning her cheeks like they were on fire. "I-It's okay. It was still wrong of me to act in such a way. It was hardly called for. I should have known better." She hated the feeling of being so vulnerable. That every weakness she denied was really there, no matter how much she denied it. She hated that about herself.
