It had come to be that time of year yet again, the early part of February, a month after school had started and people were settled in, used to their new dorm rooms and class schedules. But this was a very important day of the year, a very important time; it was the first big dance of the year, allowing students who hadn't really had a chance to see each other spend time in a controlled formal enviroment, complete with decorations and a disc jockey, all thanks to the Student Council.
Kyerin was standing near the wall, his arms crossed, gazing through clear lens at the smattering of people; it was still early, so not many students had shown up yet, though they were all suppose to make an appearance at some point during the evening. The boy reached up, tugging lightly on his black jacket to make sure it was straight, partially covering a white button up shirt and his black slacks. The Student Council had really outdone theirselves this year... which was why he had arranged for a few surprises, so that the SFF wouldn't be outshined.

The winter dance seemed to be a mandatory event for all students, as much as Alice did not particularly like to attend social events. She ended up giving off an aura of awkward. Not to mention she did not really like to dance. She learned a couple steps from her father, but that was about it. It seemed like this entire event was put together by the Student Council. Hmph, the Student Council was the organization which seemed to keep the peace in the school... but what if they were gone? What sort of chaos might ensue?
Alice was wearing a formal long cream colored evening gown, which fit to her body rather nicely. It was draped over her right shoulder, leaving the left shoulder strapless and having an open back dress. She did not mind the open back, as her hair was cascading down her back, some of it being held up by a clip with a fake white rose on it. She was standing underneath a tree outside of the gym, trying to avoid going in at the moment. She was holding her tablet box within her hand, slowly sliding it open and taking two of the tablets from the box. She sighed lightly, dropping the tablets into her mouth and swallowing lightly, opening her eyes and them glowing a faint color of red before returning back to the dark violet color.
This night would be exciting... getting to stand in the corner and watch all of the other students dance and chat and have fun.. while she stood by herself.. watching..

It was the early evening when the dance begun. Students had been let out of classes early in order to be ready to attend the dance. The week of the dance had been a stressful one for Student Council, who had to cram together what they would end up doing for it. The theme was simple, Evening in the Snow, which meant the whole gym was decorated with various white and blue balloons hanging around, tables covered with white and blue sheets, the lights were dimmed down to a light blue color that reflected off a light that hung down from the center of the room and bathed the large room with small circles of light that spun around. These lights had been put in the week prior to the dance, when the Student Council President had a repairman working on lights for the theatre. The music was simple and consisted of mixtures of fast and slow songs so friends and couples could get on the dance floor. The Student Council President sat at a special table reserved for Student Council (it mainly was reserved because it had materials the Council needed, such as cameras and paper work). Her eyes scanned over the room, trying to think of anything that might have been forgotten. Everything seemed to be in place. Refreshments were spread out amongst long tables and balloons remained tied to various objects around the room. A sigh escaped pink-colored lips as she gazed down at the table. Nicolette De la Fontaine was wearing a formal dark blue dress with a dark blue hair band pushing parts of her hair back (as usual). The dress went to just above the floor, covering her dark blue and silver high heels, with cap sleeves. The back of the dress was open to about her mid-back, were an elegant bow was tied. Her blonde locks, however, covered most of the back, so she didn't have to worry about feeling exposed. She had ordered the dress from England two weeks prior to the dance and she had been thankful that it fit perfectly. A silver purse sat in front of her, filled with some make up and her cell phone. The dance had only just begun fifteen minutes prior. She swallowed hard, wondering where Sven and Felicity could be. *~*~*~*~*~ The only reason he would be attending the dance was so he could speak with his sister. During the first month of the school year, the siblings had been busy trying to get into the swing of the year and found it difficult to meet. They had met twice, once so Nicolette could give the boy the credit card their mother had given to her to give to him, and a second time at lunch during school when she decided to eat in the cafeteria. Other than that, they had little contact, especially when the time to prepare for the dance had come into play. Not wanting to wear a tuxedo, the boy decided on wearing a white dress shirt (untucked) with a black tie, black slacks, and dress shoes. His pendant beat against his chest beneath the whirt and a small, silver hoop earring clung to his left ear. He disliked how small he looked as he looked himself once more in the mirror before he sighed and turned away, walking to the door of his bedroom. He grabbed his cell phone from the dresser before he departed, leaving his dorm room and heading down to the lobby. It took him about ten minutes, but he was soon on campus and steadily approaching the gymnasium where the dance was being held. Passing a girl who was standing outside near a tree, he approached the front doors and let out a sigh. He wasn't much for social events... But if he got to see Nicolette, well... That was all that mattered. He glanced back at the pale girl under the tree one more time before he entered into the dim room, waiting for his eyes to adjust from the evening light to the dimmed light of the room before he took a few steps in, his eyes gazing around for a specific person. As he spotted Nicolette, he swallowed and started for the table she sat at, feeling relief in the smile she gave him. The two began to casually chat as other people arrived. *~*~*~*~*~ It would be fun. Though she was no longer a student, she was still able to attend the dances. She would mainly be going to enjoy, but she would also act as a sort of under cover chaperone, which was always fun. She had been doing this for quite a few years now and loved how she could be casually flirting with a twelfth year and then turn around and tease a kissing couple, who would quickly pull away blushing. She loved the power she possessed as a staff member. The dances even reminded her of her youth, when she had gone to silly dances as a student. The Winter Dance was an easy dance for her to attend, because she would meet the new students of the year and get to know everyone. She attended all the school events, except for the Fall Dance... That was one that she could not bring herself to go to... She looked herself over in the mirror of her bedroom. No one ever said she had to look modest. She was dressed in a black cocktail dress which only had one strap on the right side. Where the strap met with the dress in the front was a black and white flower, white leaves of the flower spanning up the sleeve, across the top of the dress, and down to where the dress slit up the leg in the front. The dress came to about her mid thigh, but there was a slit up the front of the dress on the right side that came up just below the string of her bikini-string black panties. Around her right wrist, she wore a few silver, white, and black bracelets, and in her ears were dangling black earrings that had small circles at the bottom. On her feet were black high heels, adding to her already tall height, that wrapped around her ankle up to the mid-calf. Content with her outfit, she left her bedroom and went to her kitchen to grab her black purse, which held her wallet and car keys (which was completely filled with various anime keychains). She threw her cell phone inside and walked out the door of her apartment. She walked carefully down the stairs before she went to the parking lot. She hadn't parked her car very far away. She slid herself inside the vehicle and started it up, pulling out and heading toward the school. It was a ten minute walk to the school, but Brittany was not about to walk down the street in the outfit she was wearing. She pulled into the small parking lot and parked, getting out and walking briskly to the gym. She smiled and nodded at a few students standing outside before she opened the door and slid inside. She was rather early, but she found it to be useful; it would be easier to arrive early and watch people walk in rather than have to fight through a throng of people. She casually greeted Nicolette as she passed the girl and continued to walk until she found a nice, small table with four chairs to sit at. She sat herself down in one chair and watched the door to see who else would show up. *~*~*~*~*~ Haruka Amagi is in a separate thread and will join at a later part of the dance.*~*~*~*~*~ The television flashed a random action movie that his unfocused eyes happened to be staring at. It was the evening of the Winter Dance and he was unsure of whether or not to attend. He had an outfit that would be formal enough to wear, if he did decide to go. It had been two days since he'd really spoken with his room mate and going to the dance would mean seeing the man. All his homework was finished and the teachers were nice enough not to give any over the weekend because of the dance. He could spend hours lying around and doing absolutely nothing if he damn well pleased. He was dressed in his school uniform, though the black shirt was draped over the back of the couch and the white shirt was untucked from the pants, his shoes having been kicked off quite some time ago as his white-socked feet were resting up on the couch. Contact-brown eyes barely watched the pictures that moved on the television, though he was far from unconscious. His mind was just on other things...

Faye Clement was practically jumping up and down in excitement~! She could hardly contain it, her whole body was trembling, she had been looking forward to this occasion ever since the school year began. She absolutely adored dances and anything of the sort, she loved getting dressed up and putting make-up on (plus this was an excellent excuse to, as well) and especially meeting new people! She had promised to meet Juno here, too, she was finding it hard to contain the excitement to see what she was wearing, too~ she was pretty sexy. Ah, it was going to be ah~may~ZING! Tonight, Faye had chosen to wear a knee length, strapless creamy white dress so it would stand out over her dark purple hair and bright, electric blue eyes. The dress flowed and would form a circle if she twirled around at any speed. Putting emphasis on her waist was a thick black ribbon tied around it in a bow, the remaining ends of the ribbon hanging neatly at her sides. Her accessories were black and they consisted of a black beaded bracelet and a pair of onyx coloured earrings that were in the shape of diamonds and hung down from her ears. Since she had them double pierced, the second set was just a plain pair of silver studs. On her feet were a pair of white high heels, the heel only been about an inch high seeing as she had trouble walking in anything higher. To keep them securely on her feet, there was a black ribbon connecting to the main straps that went up her feet in a criss-cross fashion and tied in a small bow around her ankles. Her dark purple hair was perfectly straightened and some was tied back in a small pony tail to keep it out of her way. She walked into the gym, feeling extremely excited. *~*~*~* Ooh, Kayami loved the dances, too, it was such a fantastic way to bring the students together so they could interact with one another, make new friends with the other grade levels, plus it gave her chance to get to know more of the staff members around the school. She hadn't been there for that long so she had only really talked to the Principal. Made her a little sad... But, tonight she was going to get to know more~~ At least the room was nice and clean... No need for the antibacterial wipes in her small silver purse that slung over her shoulder. Kayami had chosen a colour that was opposite her hair colour, black. But it wasn't completely black as it sparkled in the light, giving it more colour and didn't look as stupid as she thought it would. She didn't have a lot of choice. The dress was halter neck and had long hem line. The dress itself was completely see through but it came with a black material like dress underneath that went about an inch below her bottom. The rest was cut off at all different lengths, the shortest being on her right knee. With this she wore a pair of black high heels, a little higher than Faye's. *~*~*~* Rai Aikaryu is in separate thread and will be joining later~*~*~*~* Unfortunately, the second most important member of the Student Council was still at home. He was late for nearly every event that had come up over the time he had been at the school. Ugh, it annoyed him a bit. He was still getting ready at his dormitory. He had a pair of black slacks on so far and a black coloured singlet that framed his nicely toned body. He continously walked in and out of his bedroom, grabbing things and making coffees. However he noticed that Matthew wasn't getting ready? "Why aren't you getting ready?" Sven asked his roommate as he began trying to slip on his dress shirt but got distracted from the jug finishing boiling so he hadn't buttoned it up yet, so his skin tight singlet was still visible.

It was an atmosphere full of excitement and wonder, just like she liked it, as the Arabian girl entered through the main doors, looking around the gym in awe. Everything had been changed almost to a point that it was unrecognizable, making this center for physical education into a place suitable for dancing and partying. She was an expert at neither of those, but was willing to try and learn; it would be a lot more exciting than to be like some people, standing against the walls or sitting at tables all alone. Those people needed to get out and have some fun! She looked down, checking her dress to make sure it was straight and covering up enough of her body. It was a simple design, a desert clay red contrasting her dark skin, the straps holding it to her form as it descended down to her mid-calf. A pair of matching flats adorned her feet, just as her customary golden bangles jangled on her right wrist. Now, she just needed to find someone to spend time with... ---------------------------------------- Kyerin nodded his greetings to people, before deciding that enough had shown up to place the first thing into action. He slowly made his way over to the refreshment table, politely acknowledging those he passed by, before reaching the punch bowl. It had no one attending it, either due to the person having wandered off, or just due to the Student Council feeling that everyone attending would be mature enough to get their own drink. Well, that made things easier on him. The young man placed his back to the crowd, and casually withdrew a ladelful, filling up a small cup for himself. That done, he reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small bottle. The flavor of the beverage would match the punch, but it had a much higher alcohol content. He emptied the entire bottle in, stirring up the punch to mix the two drinks together, and, picking up his own drink, walked back towards the entrance, a small smile on his face. Things were about to be more... interesting. ((Note: The punch has now been spiked.))

Annabelle Williams had arrived late, as usual. It wasn’t because she was spending an hour looking at herself in a mirror like some other, shallower girls, but it was because she’d lost track of time when she’d been reading in the library. So, she arrived late, and a bit fluster and red faced from having run all the way from her dorm room to the gym. As soon as she arrived and took in the scenery she realized she shouldn’t have rushed herself. Barely anyone was there. So, smoothing out her dress, she calmly walked in the rest of the way. Just in time to see that Kyerin had already started what the SFF had already planned on doing. Pretty much ruining the whole thing and making life hell for all Student Council Members. She smirked slightly as she watched him spike the punch and walk away.
Brushing a hand through her long, raven-colored hair, Anna made her way over to a table. She didn’t like dances at all. They were so annoying. Blaring music, extra drama, and sabotage. It was all too much and too pointless. It was just another excuse for people to cry over not having dates or not being the “prettiest”. So, she had reluctantly purchased a black dress, to match her mood, and dragged herself to the dance. If it weren’t for the SFF she would have shot herself in the head already. All of it was enough to drive anyone crazy or to the point of suicide. First finding out you’re a freak, and then finding out you’re an outcast even in a school where the only students were other outcasts. And all of the Student Council’s crap was a whole other topic all on its own.
Tap. Tap. Tap. Anna’s long, slender fingers impatiently tapped against the table top, as she waited for her moment. Her cue. The whole time the same phrase of thoughts ran through her mind; When will this be over? When will this be over? When will this- Most girls would be excited at the brilliant flashing lights and the way bodies move in time with the beat of music. But, Anna just wanted it to end as quickly as possible. Maybe she was bitter because she didn’t have a date. But, in the end, she just wanted to leave. For now, at least.

Time passed and Nicolette began to grow nervous as she smiled kindly at the students. The dance was fully underway and people were dancing and socializing. Things were going great...So far. Though, she was a little confused at the actions of many of the students. Their behavior seemed... a bit off, to her. Her eyes scanned the room for the Vice President. She frowned when she could not spot him anywhere nearby. She moved through the people, trying to see where he might have gone, even keeping an eye out for Matthew Fletcher, in case he might have seen the man leave the area. She grew worried when she couldn't find either male. Swallowing hard, she made her way to the Student Council table. He wasn't there and it was pretty empty... There were no representatives this far in (which worried her that no one had come to see her about becoming one) and the other members of the true council had seemed to have been absent for quite some time. This was all very worrysome... *~*~*~*~*~ [Henri's activity can be seen in Imposed Meeting]*~*~*~*~*~ Brittany had gotten up from her seat some time ago and had occupied herself in the punch. It had quite the unique, tasty flavor that her taste buds enjoyed. She walked through the crowds of students, smiling and sipping at her (alcoholic) beverage while looking for someone to bother. Her eyes fell on another teacher, one she had seen around the school and a few times in the employee lounge. She casually strolled over, taking a sip of her drink before greeting the woman. "You teach Science, right?" She had come in to the Science lab at least twice in the past two months to treat a careless student. *~*~*~*~*~ [Haruka's activity can be seen in Secret Mission of the SFF]*~*~*~*~*~ [Matthew's activity can be seen in To Dance or Not to Dance]

It seemed like the dance was fully underway now, and Alice slowly walked in to see some students dancing while others where standing around socializing. She sighed lightly, placing her tablet box with the small bag around her shoulder. She needed a place to keep it, just in case something happened. Though she was sure nothing would happen.
It seemed like everyone was having fun. So she decided to keep to herself, to not interrupt the the fun of others. She walked over to a corner near the entrance of the room, placing her hands behind her back. She fixed her dress a bit, it laying flat against her body. She let out a soft sigh, looking down at the ground of the gym floor. Though the decorations had been like a winter dance, the floor still looked like that of the gym... Ah well.

There was absolutely no sign of Juno anywhere in the gym. Well at least Faye hadn't been able to find her. A frown pierced her lips for a brief moment but she decided to let it slide and enjoy the night by meeting brand new people and socialising. The went over to the punch bowl and grabbed herself a small glass of the beverage, just a little bit. She sipped at it for a few moments before she carried on into the dance. She then saw someone she knew. Well kind of. It was Alice Tudor. They had met at the clock tower before the dance. "Alice~" She called out, walking quickly over to the girl. *~*~*~* Kayami had been enjoying her night... Kind of. She had mainly been watching the students whilst drinking the punch (which had been spiked) slowly. She had around two cups full of it now but she was feeling just fine. Although, she was noticing a few changes in behaviour with the students but just brushed it off, thinking it was probably something to do with the heat of the moment and how exciting the dance might be for them. A gasp escaped her lips when someone spoke to her and she nearly dropped her drink. Luckily, she didn't. She was glad, she did not want people tripping over from spilt punch. She blinked as she saw the school nurse and mental gifts teacher; Brittany Hale standing in front of her. "Yeah, you're the school nurse, right?" She returned the question, remembering the times she had to come into her classroom because a student was being clumsy and not careful around the chemicals. *~*~*~* Rai can be found in Secret Mission of the SFF*~*~*~* Sven can be found in To Dance or not to Dance

Kyerin kept his eyes on all of the doors, smiling politely to those who walked by and acknowledged him, but otherwise merely watched. A good leader made sure things were done, but a great leader made sure things were done, that they were done properly, and that if anything else could be done, it would be. He had thought of putting some small explosives on the stage, but there hadn't been an in house band, making that idea less enjoyable than it would have been. He hoped that the other members were doing well.
Seeing a certain couple return to the dance, the boy smiled, knowing that things would be thrown into further chaos, and finished his punch cup, depositing it in the nearest trash can. He calmly strolled through the dance, making a bit of small talk and rubbing elbows as he went, showing people that he wasn't a bad guy (which he wasn't, unless you peeved him... which didn't happen much), before finally making it to his destination: the Student Council table, where a paticular girl was sitting. He smiled, taking a seat calmly, before making a small gesture towards the refreshment table from which he had came. "I don't mean to spoil your fun, but I think something's been added to the punch," he said softly, not wanting too many people to overhere. There were a couple of students looking quite tipsy over there, along with a paticularly larger fellow who had apparently thought it wise to consume a large quantity of the beverage and was now returning it all into a trash can.

Alice blinked when she heard her named called, lifting her head a bit. Who on earth would be calling her name? Oh~ It was Faye. It was true, she hadn't known Faye very long and she really did not know much about the girl in the first place but it might be fun to actually talk to someone while at the dance. A small smile came to her face, Alice lifting her hand and waving slightly. "Hello Faye.. Are you enjoying the dance?"
Really the only time Alice had danced was with her father. That was the only time she had danced, and that was why she was a bit weary of dancing. She would suddenly get thoughts of her father, and if she began to think of her father while at the dance... she did not want to think what might happen. She was afraid she might get too upset and end up... hurting one of the other students. She didn't want that to happen.

The blonde haired girl did not know how bad things were going to get. She had expected something to go wrong, but she had never thought that there would be attacks on multiple fronts, especially while she was the only one running things. Her Vice President had all but disappeared and the other members were no where to be seen. So she wasn't sure how to react when she saw Kyerin approaching her. Sure, they were acquaintances who had spoken on friendly terms, but it didn't change the fact that they were part of organizations that had been enemies since the Student Council came into existance. She swallowed hard and willed herself to calm down as she watched him take a seat at her table. She listened to the words that slipped from his mouth... Her eyes widened and she turned her eyes to look at the punch table. Nearby, students were laughing and a few seemed to be having a bit of trouble standing without stumbling. There were some heated moves on the dance floor and a rather large looking senior (she recognized him to be on one of the sports teams, though she couldn't remember which one) was puking in a nearby trashcan. Tears came to her eyes as she rose from her seat and walked quickly over to the punch table. She took a cup and filled a little bit with the punch. She brought the cup to her lips and took a small drink, only to spit it back out into the cup and looked at it in horror. That was definitely not punch! She tried to hold in the tears that were coming to her eyes. Why were things going wrong?! *~*~*~*~*~ [Henri's activity can be seen in Imposed Meeting]*~*~*~*~*~ Brittany let out a small chuckle at the question. Yes, she was the school nurse, among other titles she had been given. She brought a hand up to play with some of her hair as she nodded to the other woman. "Among other titles, yes." She took a sip of her drink and looked around at the various students. She was able to see over a good number of them, being tall as she was and with the added height of her heels. She turned her attention back to the other teacher. "Enjoying yourself so far?"*~*~*~*~*~ Time was ticking and it was getting to be the time that the next disaster would hit. Haruka Amagi stepped into the gym, her fingers laced between that of her partner's as they snuck back inside. It didn't matter if they were seen; though they looked a little out of breath and such, it could be taken that they had been off making out, rather than running back from the room that led down to the school's powerbox. The hacker reached into her purse and pulled her cell phone out. They had about three minutes to spare. She clutched Rai's hand, trying to calm herself and she let out a small, amused chuckle as she led him over to lean up against a wall while she looked about the various students. She looked up at her partner with a small smile. "It's show time."Her cell phone glowed with the numbers that read off '8:30'. She had slipped her hand in her purse and pulled out a small remote with a single button. This button would send information to the device and cut off the power to the gymnasium. She wasn't sure how long to keep the lights off, but she decided she would let the chaos hit before she let them come back on. She looked at Rai one last time before the pressed the button... [Note: The Lights will not turn off until Kyerin's next post.]*~*~*~*~*~ [Matthew's activity can be seen in To Dance or Not to Dance]

Faye brushed a few locks of her hair behind her shoulder and sighed a bit at Alice's question, yeah she was having a good time at the moment now that she was talking to someone but there wasn't anyone else around that she knew. Juno, especially, didn't turn up. She promised, too! Faye pushed it aside for the time being, though, she was here to have fun! With or without Juno! "Yeah, I suppose, are you?" She was guessing that she wasn't, though, being all the way out there, excluded from everyone else in the gymnasium. *~*~*~* Kayami brought her cup to her lips, taking some of the liquid into her mouth, swallowing it. The cool liquid travelled down her throat, cooling it down, it was so heated in the gym. "Eh, I guess so, I wish something more exciting would happen, though," Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to wish upon. "What about you?" She asked, returning the question to be polite. *~*~*~* Rai was over the moon, head over heels right now. He had kissed Haruka... Oh it felt amazing, too~. But he had to think more clearly, although, the look upon his face was a little helpful, though, it made it seem like they were off making out somewhere rather than something suspicious since he looked so bright and happy about something. Usually a look like that meant he just got a kiss from a pretty girl he liked. Which was completely true. His heart was still fluttering and he couldn't get a single word out properly when Haruka looked at him before the button was about to be pressed. He just replied with a single nod. *~*~*~* Sven can be seen in the thread; To Dance Or Not To Dance

Kyerin couldn't help showing a small smile of satisfaction as the girl quickly went over to the punch, tasting it for herself before spitting it out; it was really too late for her to do anything about it. Although he didn't have anything against Nicolette- in fact, she was probably one of the only people to have his respect and friendship- it was business as it was suppose to be, and it had to be big as a show of force, that the SFF wasn't just hidden. Speaking of which...
He reached into his pocket, and pulled out his pocketwatch, counting the seconds with a small smile. She should really come sit back down, considering that if his watch was right (and it was; they used his watch to synchronize time from), something was going to happen, and people would most likely panic. It would be safer sitting down... or under a table.
Click
The young man sighed, closing his eyes, though it didn't make any difference; the lights had just gone out. He could hear, both aurally and with his power, the chaos, confusion, and some screams as the sensation of sight was greatly diminished. Well, he doubted that the technical staff at the school wouldn't be able to fix it in more than ten minutes, but it was enough; the message had been passed on.
((As of now, until further notice, the entire gym is in darkness.))

Alice smiled slightly, closing her eyes halfway and about to answer Faye when the lights had turned out. Didn't bother her any... though the other students... they were starting to act well... like humans. Scared and paranoid. She let out a soft sigh. "Well, to be honest... I'm not much for dances. Especially when they end up like this. It makes it more interesting, though. "
Sure, it would make it more interesting for other people. For her, she could see everything that was going on. She began to look around the gymnasium, seeing the different students. Some were screaming, some where in a panic, while others just stood around. Like a certain boy sitting at the student council table. He had his eyes closed and a small smile of satisfaction. Not to mention there were two who were standing next to each other, the female holding a cellphone. Hm.
Alice looked to Faye, putting her hand lightly onto Faye's shoulder. "I'll be right back, alright, Faye?" She took her hand from the girls shoulder, walking over towards the boy at the table. He was the only one there at the Student Council table for the moment. Once she safely arrived at the table, seeing as it was easy for her to see in the dark, she kept a slight distance from the boy sitting at the table. She kept her voice quiet, but audible to Kyerin, above the screaming and chaos of students around. "May I ask you a question? You seem to be rather calm about this situation. Did you cause it?"
