APPEARANCE DETAILS
Appearance: Sanya appears to be quite a normal girl, standing at 5'6", with a slim build and proportionate bust size. Her blue violet hair is cut short, almost like a boy's haircut, covering her forehead with the bangs, and the back resting halfway down her neck. Her dark green eyes can seem lifeless at times, but on other occassions sparkle with excitement and wonder. The most noticable fact about her is her darker complexion, a soft reddish brown, like the earth, considering that she is made of clay, making her cold to the touch. The other noticable thing about her body is the engraving on her forehead, usually covered by her bangs, spelling "Emet", which means truth.
Sanya, caught off guard
Clothing Style: Sanya only has a few change of clothes, considering that she doesn't feel so reserved about her body, considering what she is. Besides her school uniform, she has a couple of short warm colored skirts, paired with matching vests, and a small shirt, pretty much enough to cover her breasts. It's not much, but that is mainly because her homeland is quite hot, making lots of clothes impractical to wear. She also wears a few gold bracelets made by her father around her right wrist, mainly to remember him by.
Special Accessories: The gold bracelets she wears around her right wrist, made by her father
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Sanya is a friendly child, who enjoys meeting new people and learning new things. After coming to the school, she's realized how closed her previous life was, and she wants to experience more, not tainted through racism or prejudice. However, even though she likes meeting new people, considering how others have reacted to her, she likes to keep them at some distance to prevent them from knowing too much. She likes to help out others, and volunteers, considering that she is rarely strained by work. She never gets angry; if people are mean or hurtful, she just gets sad and goes to cry in a corner, until the sad is out of her system. Sanya can be blank at times, acting almost like a robot, but those times are few and far between, with their occurrences lessening each day.

BACKGROUND
History: Sanya was born to Sa'id and Mouna Hadia, an artisan and his simple wife, in the town of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her birth and most of her childhood was one of happiness, spending time under the care of her mother and under the watchful eye of her father, who created many beautiful works of art, from sculptures to jewelry, to keep his family in a comfortable state of living. The girl had no trouble making friends with other kids, enjoying spending times with them. And the simple life of living in their city was enough for her, with her going to a private school to be educated, though her education of the outside world was quite limited.
However, around the time that she was entering middle school, her parents began to spend more time with her, and less time with each other; their interests were becoming too different, and they were having less in common with each other. Finally, after a few months of tolerating each other, they ended up getting a divorce, though it was quite clear to the girl that the only reason they had spent as long as they did together was because of her. However, due to the divorce, she ended up living with her mother, while spending the odd weekend with her father. It did bother her that she had to be split up and traded off between her parents, but since she got to see both, and both seemed to be happier this way, she felt happy for them.
Her mother got a job teaching, and moved on, Sanya living with her. However, Sa'id felt empty without his daughter, the quality of his work degrading besides the days he was able to spend with Sanya. He resorted to drinking, ending up losing quite a lot of his money that wasn't taken by his wife during the divorce, and his home fell into disarray, being quite dark when Sanya wasn't there. Mouna began to worry for her daughter's safety of going to such a place, but Sanya insisted of still spending time with her father, caring deeply for him, even if he was drinking now.
One day that Sanya spent with her father midway through October changed their lives forever. As usual, she spent the day with her father, and as usual, in the evening, her mother came to pick her up and escort her home. However, as they left to head back to Mouna's home, a mugger came out of a nearby alley, knifing both girl and woman, and robbing what few possessions they had. Hearing the twin screams, Sa'id came out to find both bodies on the ground, blood and other liquids pouring from their bellies. He could tell that various internal organs were hit, and the chance of them living were slim. Considering that the magic between him and Mouna had died out a few years back, he wasn't extremely distraught over her imminent death. But his daughter... his precious Sanya... he couldn't bear losing her.
Both of the women died in his home, Sa'id having brought them in from the street. His wife was cremated in the kiln in his workshop, and her ashes were later buried under a small grave. However, his precious daughter... he didn't intend for her to be gone forever. There were old stories of golems that had been passed down in their culture, creatures made from the earth. Making things from clay was his job, his mastery... and maybe with that magic, he could bring his daugther back.
Of course, such a creature would have to be personal to be like her... measurements of her body insured a perfect copy, and using her blood and ashes after cremation in the clay made the form hold parts of her. Out of paranoia of losing her again, considering how clay can easily be broken, Sa'id melted iron and mixed it into the clay, though the ratio of iron to clay was low, just enough to improve the durability of the clay without changing the appearance or flexibility. It took him a few sleepless days to perfect it, but his creation looked just like his daughter, and her head had been filled with some of Sanya's favorite items to help mix those memories in. After fitting her with clothes, he performed the final rite of the creation, engraving the word "Emet" into her forehead, giving the golem Truth... and life.
At first, the Sanya replica merely looked like Sa'id's lost daughter, acting like a golem, doing what he said; however, with the various items in her, and spending time with Sa'id, she began to act more and more like Sanya, eventually being just her, and believing that she was the same, though she had been informed by her father of her status, as being a golem. However, she was his daugther, and he was overjoyed, his happiness returning, his drinking habit vanishing, and his art regaining the style and glory of prior years.
The people of the town noticed this change, and attributed it to him taking on the mantle of living for both his ex-wife and daughter, considering that both were dead and gone. However, rumors soon began of another person in his home, one that seemed to be a younger girl. Rumors of a scandal and Sa'id causing the killing began to circulate, growing more and more until they had snowballed out of control. The people had to know, and finally spied in on the home... to see his dead daughter alive again.
The mob response was almost immediate; cries of witchcraft and demons filled the air as the angry citizens began to storm the home. Sa'id and Sanya were forced to escape out the back, and head out on foot, but the words and rumors followed them, causing them to flee from city to city. Sa'id heard information of a school that was for those who were special, and enroll his daugther, sending Sanya off to the T'zenshin Institute, the artist giving his daughter some money and golden bracelets before vanishing to some place for him to resume his work, promising to see his daughter again after she graduated, hopefully in a time when they could live back in their homeland without prejudice. Until then, she was to learn about the world, not knowing where her father was, but sure that there would be a better future... someday...
Secrets: The person known as Sanya died a few months ago; the golem Sanya is that girl somewhat brought back to life.
Gift: Sanya is a golem, built from a mixture of clay and metal in order to prevent her body from breaking so easily. Considering her species, Sanya is quite strong and resilient, despite her appearance. Any sort of injury she could receive can be patched up with special clay that her father left with her for such situations. Also, despite her petite appearance, she weighs a few hundred pounds.
Being a golem also has other properties. She can only tell the truth, due to the word on her forehead "Emet" which means truth. She also is likely to obey orders, though she will resist if they involve causing someone pain. Any sort of damage done to her will be felt by her, but she can easily repair it with the clay her father gave her. The only way to kill her is to change the word "Emet" to "Met", which means Death. That, or just blow the whole word to smithereens.
