Something was wrong. Rai wasn't... himself lately. Suri could tell, especially since she was his sister. So today she planned an outing just for the two of them. Whether Rai would talk or not... was up to him, but she would try and create a peaceful atmosphere and a nice lunch for the two. She had packed an obento for each of them, and also had desert for the two of them. She had brought a blanket out to the Spectra Pond, in order for the two to have a picnic. She asked Rai to meet her, and was hoping he would show up...
She laid her bag gently down on the side of the picnic blanket, taking out the two obentos she had made for herself and for Rai. She placed the chopsticks on top of the boxes, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. She would hopefully get Rai to talk, or at least, get to cheer him up a little. What sort of sister would she be if she couldn't even cheer him up? She had a small vase in the middle of the picnic blanket with a flower in it, that was picked from a bush near the pond. She had made a desert she hoped Rai would like - something she wasn't very fond of but... she made it for him. A lemon flavored tart. So that way it had some ... sourness to it but was still a desert at the same time.

It had been rough, ever since he saw Haruka in the corridor. He didn't know if he could face the Student Freedom Force at all, considering she would always be there. He couldn't face her, not for awhile, anyway. It would kill him to see the pain in her eyes. But she would be alright, she was a very independent, strong girl and he had admired her greatly for that aspect of her.
She didn't need him, she never had. She could cope on her own so much better.
He had left his dormitory without saying a word to his room mate. He was wearing a simple pair of dark blue jeans and a grey and black t-shirt plus a pair of black sneakers on his feet. His little sister, Suri had requested they spend some time together today, while he was all for spending time with the girl, he wasn't sure if he was going to be good company.
But he didn't want to upset her.
He arrived at the Spectra Pond shortly after leaving the lobby, he noticed a blanket sprawled out over the grass, his sister setting their picnic up. He couldn't help but smile, even just a little bit.
"Hey, Su-chan."

Suri's attention was quickly drawn to the voice of her brother, turning to look at him and a smile slipped onto her lips. She had on a ruffled skirt with neon purple stockings and her black boots. She only had on a black fitting shirt with her colorful gummi bracelets and necklaces to spice up the top half of her outfit with color. She stood up from the blanket, hugging Rai when he had gotten closer. "Hey, Rai-kun. I know you've.. been a bit upset lately so.. I wanted to try and make you feel better. I even made you a lemon tart."
Taking her arms from around her brother, she bite her lip a bit. Maybe she... shouldn't have mentioned him being upset. At least it might start a conversation... sitting back down on the blanket, she held her hand out across from her to invite him to sit. "I made a beef stir fry with rice. I know its.. probably not your favorite..."

Rai's eyes widened as Suri hugged him as he got closer, he soon relaxed and hugged her back, gently. He smiled a little more, nuzzling his head against the top of hers, it was so nice to see her again. In fact, it was so nice to just have her around when he needed someone to lean on.
At the mentioning of a lemon tart, he couldn't help but hug her again, "Awwwh, you're so sweet, Su-chan," He said, his voice a little happier than it was before. "I really appreciate this," He added, taking a seat on the blanket she had set up.

She laughed slightly, closing her eyes. "I knew you'd like that. You always liked sour type things." Oh it felt so nice to actually.. have a day out with her brother. Hugging him though, she felt.... just how upset he was. She tried to hide it though, pouring tea for the two of them from the thermos she brought. She handed him his cup of tea, looking down a bit. Maybe... no. Now was not the right time to share what was going on at home. It never was. If she could have it her way, she'd never have Rai know...what happened.
"So what have you been up to Rai? You know you can talk to me to get things off your chest. I'm always here to listen. You don't ever have to ask either, I'll always be here." She laughed a bit, leaning over and playfully hitting his arm. "That's what little sisters are for, after all."

Rai's eyes softened, his sister knew him so well. Then again, all she had to do was touch him and she'd know pretty much everything. Still! It felt nice to have someone who appreciated his company.. someone who needed him around.
At the question she proposed, Rai's gaze fell to the blanket beneath them, his fingers fiddling with the fabric as he thought about what he would say to Suri. "W-well.. I've been trying to learn my lines for the upcoming play... and study for finals, I really want to pass," A small, nervous laugh escaped his lips, "But it's been hard.. with what happened..." Did Suri already know? Or had she not picked it up?

Suri's smile had slowly disappeared as she saw her brother's eyes soften. She continued to watch him, even when he brought his gaze down to the blanket. The image she saw when she hugged him was of him and Haruka-san, so... could it be that... the two of them... broke up? She wasn't entirely sure. It was dark, and she couldn't really tell what she saw in the image. She was still working on understanding those things...
When her brother laughed nervously though, and spoke of how hard its been... Suri felt her heart drop a little. She moved over to Rai, wrapping her arms around his and squeezing him as gently as she could to try and reassure him. "Rai...tell me what happened. I know you're sad, and I know it...has to do with Haruka... but...other than that.... I ...don't know... I still can't understand my visions...Please..tell me if there is anything I can do t make you feel better."
She hesitated for a moment, watching Rai. Changing her language to her brother's native Japanese, hoping that might get him to talk. "Please, big brother?"[/i] Her Japanese had gotten better since she was little. It wasn't perfect, it still had some flaws in pronunciation, but it was still understandable.

Rai stared at Suri, almost giving in as she began to speak to him Japanese. Her Japanese was certainly better, but she was only small, most children still had a bit of learning to go. He smiled a sad smile, stroking her black locks as they embraced.
"Su-chan.. We did break... up," He choked out, stopping his eyes filling with unwanted tears. He brought a hand up to brush them away, hoping Suri wouldn't see. "But! Please, can we not talk about it? I want to have a happy filled, amazing day with my little sister today!" He said quickly, his enthusiasm obviously forced, but he really didn't want to talk about it.. He wanted to forget about it for awhile, to enjoy his sister's company. She didn't deserve to be burdened with anything, she had enough to deal with when she touched other people.
