Elise went wide eyed at the cake that was brought out, she loved sweet things but she had never seen one of those kinds home made before. Normally they were the little expensive things in bakeries and cake shops. "Wow, you could open your own.. cake shop or something, eheh.." That was supposed to be a compliment but giving compliments was awkward for Elise, it was bad enough to get a normal sentence out of her.
A light blush rose to the surface of her cheeks and her eyes fell to the ground as she brought up her pale coloured hand to brush some hair from her face and behind her ear. "Thank you, Suri.. I liked.. your room, too! It's... cool," She replied, finding the courage to look up at Suri and smile nervously. To make things easier for her, she lifted her cup of tea and brought it to her lips, taking a small sip, falling deeply in love with the taste.

Suri felt a light blush come to her cheeks, smiling at the compliment. She had always baked, but she never thought of opening her own cake shop! It .. was flattering, really, and it boosted her ego a bit. Though she wouldn't admit this. "Th-thank you... " She sat down across from Elise, having placed the little cakes on the coffee table. She had her cup of tea in her lap, blowing some of the steam from the cup before taking a small sip. It warmed her, and calmed her at the same time. Which was good, because she was still incredibly nervous.
"O-oh thank you... It's... it's not all that special... I can't really decorate ... things like my room so I.. just get posters to decorate... Music is kind of a hobby of mine as well. What.. are some things that you like, Elise?"

Elise thought about the younger girl's question, she was definitely very mature for her age. She only looked like a seventh year at the institute yet she was acting like she was at least a few years older than that. Was it her life at home that made her grow up too fast or was she just naturally like that? Ah, too many questions! She had to concentrate on the one her room mate gave her.
"Well, I do like to write songs.." She felt a little embarrassed because that was all she could come up with. "What about you, Suri?"
