Appearance: Lucas stands out, but blends in at the same time, standing at a good 5'8" with quite a lean but muscular build. It's very clear that he works out, his entire body is strong though he makes sure that he doesn't get too muscular. His skin color is a very healthy color, he's not tanned and he's far from deathly pale, it shows that he's healthy and goes outside a lot. Lucas also has long fingers, probably from all the different sports he does and all the other activities of his. Very light, nearly dark blond hair sits atop his head, it's very messy and goes to his chin and then goes longer in the back, which he normally ties back because it gets in the way of his sports. His bright, light blue eyes are left unhidden, many people see his eyes before anything else. Generally, he has a child-like air that lets people feel at ease around him, his inviting smile and that bright twinkle in his eyes shows that very well and that's what makes him stand out so much.
Clothing Style: He wears a very little variety of clothes, he loves horizontal striped clothes and shorts, anything that lets his skin breathe when he's doing a sport or anything that's appropriate for the weather. During the summer he'd wear something like an orange and white striped t-shirt, jeans, and brown shoes. During the winter and colder months, however, because he's constantly outside he'll wear an orange sweatshirt, blue-gray sweatpants, brown boots, and a scarf of some sort.

PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Lucas is a guy that stands out a lot, everyone knows his name and if not that they're at least familiar with his face and can associate a certain trait with him. The most common trait people associate with him is "loud", he definitely has a strong voice and personality, not much about him is subtle. He loves to talk and he can go on for hours and hours, it's something that can annoy people pretty easily but at least he can carry a conversation with people. He's a very passionate about what he likes, too, and has a deep love for everything. He puts his heart and soul into what he does if he likes it, if he doesn't like what he's doing he'll get lazy, which is why he struggles in school. Not only that, but he just can't stop talking and asking questions in class, whether or not they're related to the topic or just because. It might even get him labeled with ADHD, but he refuses to accept that label and if anyone were to actually see him when he concentrates on something they wouldn't think that at all. He thoroughly enjoys art, and when he's making a new piece it has his full attention and nothing can distract him from it, he loves to create his own piece of work that he can call beautiful.
Lucas also really isn't that much of an airhead, he's "oblivious" to things around and people's feelings because he chooses to be like this, he just doesn't want to concern himself with little things or the feelings of people he doesn't really know well and because of this he comes off as insensitive. Lucas never pays attention to things, and as such can be very reckless but when he does notice something he keeps in his memory. He really, really doesn't care for the feelings of strangers, especially if they look like they're "complete jerkasses" as he calls them. Instead, he only cares for people who have been able to deal with his eccentric personality for a long time and when someone's reached "friend" status he cares for them deeply. He's a complete sweetheart to people he cares for, and often buys them little reminders that he cares for them and does some dramatic signs of affection, he's really not one for subtle signs of affection. He can be gentle and subtle, but that's only when he's trying to be careful and THAT'S not often, he'd only be like that with someone he really cares for deeply.
The one person who's gotten to the more gentle and caring side of Lucas is a girl named Liliana Celestina Espinosa-Flores, he cares for the girl deeply and considers her his best friend even though they've been separated for a while now. To her, he's loving and kind, though he still has a hyperactive and restless personality. He'd do anything for her, she's been with him for years and years and he'll never let the memory of her go and he'll never stop caring for her. In fact, he's been worried sick about what happened to her and longs to meet the girl again.
Lucas has a natural talent for sports of all kinds, he can play nearly any sport with some degree of skill, it's something that he enjoys greatly and he loves to be out in the sun. In fact, he just loves nature overall, he can appreciate every season and all types of weather, the only one that he doesn't like too much is rainy weather because he can (and has gotten) get sick from being out there too long.
There's one thing that might be a little unexpected about Lucas, and that's that he's a bit religious. He believes in god, and believes that if he's a good person he'll go to heaven but not much else, he doesn't follow the bible too closely. The fact that he knows magic exists has also helped heighten his belief in god and a higher power. Lucas also LOVES animals and he's against eating them, he's become a vegetarian although he's working on becoming a vegan as well, though it's hard because he loves dairy products. Lucas also has this habit of eating healthy foods only, he can't stand to eat things high in fat, sodium, and anything else because he can taste it and it just tastes gross to him.

BACKGROUND
History: It was a bright, beautiful morning when Lucas Vásquez was born, he was the only child of the family and was greatly loved by his parents, Lucio and Marisa, for his entire life. They gave him what he wanted and he rarely ever cried in his youth, though he was always a curious little kid who would always do what he wanted and he would always explore, it was very hard for him to keep still and his parents could barely keep up. Despite this, though, he was a good and loving child. He was always helping up his parents (or rather, a child's idea of helping) and he was very studious in his studies, he was always looking on ways to expand his knowledge with the wonderful and sometimes dreadful childish curiosity. He ended up being a smart child, although lazy when he didn't understand the work, though he had managed to learn Spanish and English during his time in Church as well. His parents were always very religious, and so he was always going every Sunday and so on.
It was during children's lessons in church that he meet a girl who would soon become very important to him - Liliana Celestina Espinosa-Flores whom he would give the nickname "Lili" to. They didn't talk much until they were in the same class in Primary School and they became very fast friends, and easily considered best friends. He had more friends than her because he was very friendly and talkative, but she was by far the one he liked to spend time with the most. It was during this time that he started to pick up sports, of course he started with small sports but he worked his way up and played on nearly every different kind of sport team, he hated not having something else to do and he was always filling up his team with sports when he wasn't with Liliana or his other friends. Liliana always tried to get him to dance, to which he would protest and try to get her to play some kind of sport with him. They would fight over their differences sometimes, but they would always make up minutes later because no matter what, Lucas just couldn't stay angry at her.
A little bit later into his childhood, Lucas finally picked up a pencil and put it to paper. He started to draw, and at first they came out as ugly scribbles but he found himself determined to get better, before he knew it he fell in love with drawing and all kinds of art. He didn't exactly let people know about this, though, only his parents ever learned about his passion for art and he kept it a secret. He would draw and draw and draw and every time he would get even better. He kept his artwork hidden in multiple cases under his bed so that no one could see them unless he showed them. He also started to help his mother with cooking later on, she would show him how to cook and bake and the little boy would watch her carefully, he started to cook alongside with her and he would do the little things. As he got older he slowly started to learn how to cook on his own until he became the amazing cook he is today. He wanted to cook or make something for Liliana, but he was always afraid of her laughing at him because the sport loving Lucas loved to cook and draw. It was also around this time that he stopped eating meat, he couldn't deal with the thought of eating another living creature.
So instead, he decided on giving her a lovely golden cross necklace with a diamond center for her birthday (which just so happened to be around when one of her recitals was coming up), he got a kiss on the cheek for it and that moment was something that he cherishes. He still remembers the way her face lit up and that lovely, beautiful smile she got on her face. He thought that this friendship would last forever.
But it couldn't.
When Lucas was eleven years old, he got a letter from Liliana. The letter told him that there had been an accident and that she would have to move, the boy was absolutely devastated. At first, Lucas was staying in his room and just working on art pieces, but a good deal of them made him think about Liliana and then he tried to take if off with sports, that didn't work either. Soon enough, Lucas just took to sitting outside in the shade, watching the sky and wondering what happened to her and where his best and closest friend was and how she was doing. The weather was very bright and sunny and he hated it, Lucas was hoping it would rain, to the point of trying to make it rain himself. It took a while, but there was a light drizzle coming down. His parents had seen this and questioned the small little drizzle, it didn't reach too far and it was really only around Lucas. They were also concerned for their child's emotional well being, he got better with each day but he always seemed to be so worried. Eventually, they figured out that there must be something different about him and that maybe god gifted their child with an ability. Neither of them knew anything about magic, so they were stumped on how get Lucas to control the ability. It took them some time, but they eventually found a school named T'zenshin Institute, they thought that it would be good for Lucas to get a fresh start to take his mind off of Liliana and it would also help his strange ability. Finally, they sent Lucas off when he was 13 years old and he's now a 15 year old tenth grader.
Secrets: The fact that he likes art and cooking, he doesn't like people knowing it because he thinks they're too girly
Gift: He has the ability to play with the weather conditions of the area around him. He can't do anything dramatic, he can just do little things like cause a bit of a drizzle when it's sunny out, make the rain get a bit lighter if it's storming, and he can cause little snow showers. He can only do this in around a five foot radius from where he is, and it only lasts for a short while.
