Thinking up warm-up games is starting to be harder. Ilona didn't like repeating herself... And today, as the first semester's ending is coming close, the woman was under big tension. Will the kids manage to pull off the show they have been preparing for quite some time now?
But hey, why is she worrying so much? They are great, especially with her around. They'll manage.
With a sigh on her lips and a red blanket in her arms, Ilona entered the school theater. From this day 'til the end of the semester, drama classes will be held here.
But the students were yet to arrive... Waiting for them was always the hardest part. Woman looked up at the stage, noting the boxes that lay around. Smile came onto her face. Well, at least costumes and other things were ready. Now she just have to make sure kids truly know their lines... And that shouldn't be hard.
She walked to the center of the podium and placed the red blanket on the floor. Warm-up game: Blank(et) stories. Kids should have already learned to gather in a circle as they arrive... So, let the class begin.

John had to admit, theater was one of the elective classes he absolutely was starting to love. Not only could he pretend to be someone else, not like he didn't do that all the time, but he got to meet so many people....and flirt with so many more!
He had arrived a bit early, as today was the day they would start to read for lines on who would be the lead and such. Not to mention they had to pick their play in the first place! He was a bit excited. There was nothing better than a good old competition for the lead role! He was stunning and quite the charmer, so seeing who he would compete against was intriguing to him. Not to mention he loved the warm up games.
He walked into the theater, smiling a bit when he saw the professor was already there. This would be the start of a great class in the theater~!

Heather was early to theatre as per usual, since it was her favorite class and she was really good at it. She came into the room with a smile on her face and she waved to the teacher. Heather was really looking forward to their upcoming show, she even spent almost all of last night practicing. She wasn't really aiming to get the lead role like most people would be doing, she was more interested in bringing life to the other roles.
So, she waited for the rest of the class to arrive as she sat down and looked around. Hm, no one else was - oh, John! Heather smiled, and waved in his direction. He seemed to be busy, so she'd just see if he noticed her.

Fantastic. Rai loved his Drama class, it was something he always looked forward to and somewhere where he could express himself through acting and the big wad of confidence that he had with him. Although the boy had confidence, he lacked in self appearance pride and wandered into the school theatre hall wearing his school uniform as if he had slept in it.
His black slacks were held up by a checker studded belt and his white shirt was creased everywhere except the colour. His black tie was lose but he did kind of look presentable. At the time, however, he didn't care, he was there to try get a good part in the Play they were doing and to do everything he could to help out.
As his grey-blue eyes scanned the area, he noticed only two people had shown up so far, a girl and a guy. The two seemed to know each other but Rai had never seen them before. In fact, they appeared new. Eh. He waved to the teacher and raised an eyebrow at the red blanket. Some kind of warm-up exercise? He felt anxious and excited to find out what it was now.

Fleur arrived in reasonable time. Drama was one of the classes she actually really liked. It was more easier going than her other classes. The theatre was something she loved, with the spot light, all the people watching, and the freedom of pretending to be someone you're not. She loved the stage. It was like a miniature world. She sat down with her peers, eager to begin - Natsuki had debated for a moment weither or not just to cut class. Then she decided against it. What would be the point? Plus, the class was small enough. And they needed to prepare for the show. If she ditched, then she might as well just drop the class. Which she did not want to do. She liked the class too much. Despite the fact she had to deal with humans. She hated humans. - Abelia arrived fairly early to her class (which was really shocking. She was usually late to all of her classes). She was pretty excited about the play. Sure, the thought of people watching her as she spoke lines was pretty scary, but she loved the adrenilane rush. She couldn't wait for class to to start. She felt hyped up already!
Abelia turned to notice one of her fellow SFF members. She smiled timidly "Hey Rai, how are you?"

She was almost late! Teodora ran down the halls to the school theater, as she had forgotten that they had moved the classes here until the end of the semester. She just hoped that she won't turn into dog while the class is going...
Just on time she reached the room and stumbled in, staying close to the door so that she could catch some air. As she calmed down from running, Teodora walked over the room to the stage and sat on it's edge with just a nod to the teacher when it seemed like granny looked at her.
Tea knew that she reached the classroom just on time, as the warm-up game has not yet started.
Well, not everyone was here... But they, as a group, had to start. The time they had to get fully prepared was limited... And the limit was the end of this month.
The granny sighed, wondering what is today's class going to look like when kids were so excited. They'll notice quite soon that getting ready for a show isn't that exciting at all, at least in her opinion.
"Well, come here, gather around. We shall start the warm-up game now. This game requires three things and all of them require your imagination. And ability to improvise," Ilona spoke and licked her dry lips when she paused. She bended down and took the red blanket up.
"Now, the first thing you have to do is think what this blanket could become. It could be just a plain red blanket, but it could be so much more... Then, the second think is to came up with something that could go wrong with our show. It could something in terms of someone forgetting the lines or it could be something way more serious. After all, many of you kids have special gifts," Ilona was talking and finally stopped to take some breath. Well, now, she told them to use their creative side, the one that comes up with ideas, and the logical side, the one that finds what could go wrong... Now just to get them make a escape scenario for the show...
"The third thing is to combine the red blanket in form of what it represents and the thing going bad into one very short story. Still, three sentences are minimum. Also, you'll have to take on from where a person before you started and prolong their story," the woman said, giving the blanket to the student closest to her, a boy called John.

John had grinned a bit as he saw everyone come in. Especially when he saw Rai. Oh, he would have fun competing for a roll against Rai. It was in all good fun, of course. A good competition never hurt anyone! However, before he could open his mouth and say anything to Rai, the class was asked to gather around. He did, somehow being closer to the professor than he wanted. This usually meant that he would go first with...whatever they were doing.
He did not let this dampen his mood, however, as he listened to what the professor had to say. He also was looking around the room at the different people, trying to think who he should try to flir--..talk to first. He was interrupted from his thoughts, though, as he was handed the red blanket. He blinked, looking to the professor and then back down to the blanket. "... Uh... "
Shaking his head for a moment, to try and clear it, he started to think of what this blanket could be. How could he make a story out of it? He grinned as the thought came to him. He brought his attention back to his audience, having a slight glimmer in his eye. "This thing here is a rather interesting thing... if you look at it... you'll notice your eye kind of .. strays to the side. Almost like you know its there, but you.. don't want to see it. That is a filter. This blanket is a perception filter. It makes you almost invisible. You just have to be holding it or ... wearing it, just touching it will make you almost invisible. People will be looking at you but won't notice you're there. Now what could possibly go wrong in our performance to where we would need to use this?"
Stretching the fabric a bit in his hands, he had to let himself think for just a second. He did not want to ruin the mood of his story, or the pace at which it was going. So all he had was a second as he showed off the piece of fabric. "Someone's costume may have ripped while walking across the stage... So they take the perception filter and use it to hide themselves."
Looking to the professor, he had let out a laugh. "Not exactly sure if that's what you wanted but that's my story. "
He turned his head to see who was beside him and he could not help but grin as he saw it was Rai. Handing the blanket over to Rai, he whispered. "I look forward to competing with you for the lead, Rai."

Rai glanced up as a familiar sounding voice spoke to him, his eyes rose to see Abelia Barrentine from the Student Freedom Force standing there. He smiled, waving at her, "Hey, Abelia," He replied only to have his attention drawn away by the sound of their Drama teacher requesting their presence around her as she was explaining their warm up activity.
He shoved his hands in his pockets and stood beside a boy who he hadn't quite recognised and just shrugged it off, listening to the teacher explain. It seemed complicated, but he was sure he could think of something. Hopefully someone wouldn'-- oh, damnit, stupid whoever-- John, whatever his name was, pretty much stole his idea!
When the blanket was handed to him and John spoke to him about the lead roll, Rai only let out a small 'tch' and stared down at the blanket, taking a few moments to rebuild his story. "Hm, not only can this be used to conceal a damaged costume, but it could also be used as a replacement of a missing prop, props are important in plays and are used often." He paused calmly, as if it was on purpose, "The person whose costume had ripped while they strolled across the stage had used the blanket to conceal it, now they are missing their prop. To improvise, they could use the blanket to show an outline of the prop using their hands." He finished, passing the blanket on to Fleur.

She was late! She was late, she was late, she was laaaaaaaate. That's what she got for sticking around to argue with her sister about who owned which top, and who was just stealing/borrowing clothes from the other (though she knew she was right; it was hers). Still, out of all the classes she could be late to, or even wanted to be late to, Drama was not one of them, especially with the play coming up soon!
Rhiannon Levenworth paused outside of the door, taking in a deep slow breath; they were probably warming up right now... she had to not make a scene, for once in her life. She slowly opened the door, quietly slinking in and shutting it behind her. Seeing everyone around a blanket, she shuffled over and sat next to Teadora, trying to look interested, like she had been here. Now, what exactly were they doing?

Fleur blinked as the blanket was handed to her.....How was she supposed to imagine what the blanket be....Ugh. This was becoming less fun by the minute. She sucked in a large mass of air and blew it out. What could the blanket be...She had to think of something and FAST. "Uh...It could be used to...differenciate between characters. Due to the fact that there are a limited amount of students some may have to play more than one character and this could be used as a cape or peice of clothing to help the audiance see the differance between the characters." She passed the blanket to Natsuki. Good luck to her. Not much that you can really do with a blanket, really. - Natsuki looked at the blanket, trying to think of what the blanket could be used for.....Well... Let's see...It was red...red...what could be red....BINGO! "It could be used for a dramatic killing scene so when the chracter gets stabbed or whatever you quickly lay down the blanket and then you have an instant pool of blood. This would help with the problem of a budget a tiny bit and we could focus more on costumes and the backround and it would take a lot less time than making fake blood or trying to find fake blood packets." She passed the blanket onto Abelia. - Abelia took the blanket and observed it. Hm. What could it be used for? Everyone else had taken all the bloody good ideas! "Well....umm...I pass." She took the blanket and passed it to the girl next to her....If she remembered correctly the girl's name was Teadora.

Oh, wonderful. It was her turn and she had no idea what could a big, red blanket be. Some of the kids before her had quite interesting ideas, but she wasn't so lucky. Let's see, it was perception filter, a missing prop, a cape and blood. Teodora was sure that she would have remembered something if that girl before her didn't pass. Ugh... Chicken!
Teodora silently looked at the blanket, moving it from one hand to the other, changing its shape. And then she smiled as an idea struck her.
"There are many students in this school with various powers. This blanket could be used to hide or repair damage made by someone's powers, like burnt clothes, wet floors, objects levitating when they shouldn't, animals that strayed onto the stage and so on," she said, hoping that she had done well and passed the blanket to... her teacher. She was quite sure that a girl who was next to her now wasn't there when Miss Balazs was talking and didn't want to get the girl feel bad or something.
The teacher took the blanket back with a sigh. They didn't do this quite well... They were creative with the ideas what the blanket could be and what problems might occur, but the students didn't make a story.
"You children were good, started out nice... But then only two persons made a bit of story and that's it. I have the feeling you didn't get the point of this game," Ilona said, spreading the blanket on the floor and sitting on the edge of it.
"Now, sit down. This blanket has just became our picnic sheet. We might not get all of our props on time and we have to do a picnic scene. Now, we are trying to find him, we're trying very hard, but we simply can't find him. And then, suddenly, one of us sees this blanket and puts it on the top of the basket just moments before the change of scenes. We manage to get over this catastrophe and finish the show without any other problems," Ilona said with a smile.
"Now, we have less than a month to get ready for the big show on the end of the month, but we don't even a slightest idea what to do. My suggestion is doing something based on a fairytale, as it's easiest to improvise with it. Do you have some other suggestions?" She asked, looking at each of her students for few moments. They should have some ideas... They were bright kids.

John sighed as the teacher told them it started out nice. Hey, he thought he had the idea. At least he gave it a shot, right? Yeah. At least he tried. Not that he really cared, he kind of stole the idea from his Uncle anyway. Looking back to the teacher as she explained about the blanket and a picnic, he felt his stomach begin to growl. A picnic sounded wonderful, if only they had real food... but now back to the discussion of the play! What on earth would they be putting together? He had no clue. There were multiple plays available to do.... Hamlet, oh he would love to play that part...
There was also A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Ju-- wait a second. Why was he thinking only about Shakespeare at the moment? Darn his English class ... reading so many Shakespeare plays, not that he didn't like them, he loved them actually, but who else in the class would want to do a Shakespeare play? They were a lot of work, and ... ohoho.
"Why don't we... try and do a Shakespeare play? But modernize it to ... our liking. Try and place it in our setting and ... I mean, we don't have to use the actual Elizabethan language, though we could. I did see a production once where the set, costumes and the like were modernized and the language was kept the same."
