Appearance: Heather is 5'5" tall and has averagely toned white skin, nothing really paled or tanned because she keeps herself outside as much as she can and her brother likes to drag her out most of the time. She has a rather slender build though not much muscle, just some here and there. She doesn't have the perfect body though she's fine with it, and in fact she's not really comfortable with the idea of being "hot." Her breasts are just barely a B-cup, and she's quite happy with them staying just as they are.
Her hair is naturally black, though she's dyed the underside of it blue recently, and it goes down to a little before her midback. She likes to dye her hair weird colors a lot, so it's always changing. Sometimes she'll use pink, red, purple, or maybe some other weird color. She has bangs that fall just above her light, grayish blue eyes. She always looks full of life and she smiles a lot, making her an easy to approach person.
Clothing Style: Heather's fashion style is kinda up-to-date, though she doesn't really feel the need to look good. She likes shades of black the most and normally has other colors to brighten and accent the black. Normally the accenting color is blue because it's her favorite, but sometimes she'll decide to use another color or do something completely different. One of her favorite outfits is a black tank top with a black and blue plaid skirt with a dark blue belt to help keep it up. She'll wear black flats with this and have multiple bracelets and a necklace on her when she wears that outfit and she might have her hair in a high ponytail as well.

PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Heather is an overall kind, helpful, and loving girl who loves to just exist. She tries to see the good side of everything and lovingly embraces people's faults and everything so long as they're a good person inside. She's always willing help people if they ask for it, though she's not a doormat. She knows just when to say "no" or when something's not a good idea. She's able to stand up for herself and her strong, confident voice can easily make people see that she means business. Heather's very open to new thoughts and ideas, she's willing to hear anyone's thoughts on a subject and is always willing to have a friendly debate with someone.
She's very confident in herself and it shows, she speaks strongly and carries herself with pride. Being in front of people is no problem for her, she can easily talk away when all eyes are on her and she even enjoys being the center of attention. She loves the spotlight on her, and she absolutely loves to entertain people and stir emotions in them.
Despite all of this, Heather has a bit of a selfish streak in her. She really does care about herself and her brother, James, more than anyone else and will sacrifice someone else just so that the two of them are in good health and happy. It's something that she wants to break, but it's hard to because she does it without even noticing. Her pride can even, and normally does, lead to people drifting away from her because she comes off as a bit too arrogant sometimes.
Heather is very open to people about her life and who she is, she doesn't really hide anything and is actually pretty bad at keeping secrets unless they're told to her by her secretive brother, and even then she might slip up. She means well, it's just that she has a big mouth.
She's also a bit of a hopeless romantic, though she doesn't really like to show it. She loves the thought of having someone love her and being able to care for someone, though she often fills this desire by writing little romance stories that don't really last long. Another one of her major interests is stage magic. She's been practicing magic for years now and has gotten pretty good, even at sleight of hand. It's something that she often does to keep herself busy when the she's alone and done with all her work.

BACKGROUND
History: Heather was the first born child of the Galvin family, being born ten minutes before her brother, James. They were both dearly loved by their parents and their extended family, Heather in particular loved her grandparents who often gave her little treats and told her stories and helped to mold her into being a sweet, kind young lady who loved herself. She gained many interests early on in her childhood, and her grandfather in particular lead to her gaining her interest and love of stage magic because he used to be a stage magician. He often preformed the tricks that he still could, and she watched him with the curiosity and love that only a granddaughter could. As soon as she could read and write, the girl looked into how to preform magic and everything about it. She preformed for her grandparents, her parents, her brother, her teachers - anyone who was willing to sit down and watch her.
From the start she was a talkative girl, always bright, cheery, and eager to please. She was a good student and her hand was always up in class, whether it be to give an answer, ask a question, or rattle off onto a completely different topic all together. She was also always moving around, so it was a bit tiring for the teachers to keep her in line. James wasn't any better, though he had more control and was able to keep Heather under control when they actually had the same class.
Heather's friendliness and willingness to talk and do things for others lead to her being the center of attention and having lots of people to talk to. She never really called many of them "friends", but that was just because she didn't really like all of them. She never really had the heart to tell them that she didn't want to be around them, though, so she continued to talk to everyone that she could. It did get on peoples' nerves how much pride she had, though. The only person she seemed to tone it down for was James, which would have lead to people saying things if it wasn't Elementary School. The two of them were just attached at the hip, even if they didn't really spend all their time together it seemed like the two of them were always connected by some kind of weird mental connection.
During her childhood, Heather tried to get into things besides magic though she found that she didn't really enjoy many active things. She didn't really like getting all sweaty, so sports was thrown off the list early on. Dancing was also taken off the list no matter how much she thought that it looked nice, she didn't have the balance or flexibility of a dancer. More and more things piled up and soon Heather came to the conclusion that she should just stick with magic, though along the way she was introduced to comic books by James and writing by her mother. She wrote when she had to get something off her chest and she thoroughly read and enjoyed all types of comic books.
Somewhere along the way Heather got involved with the drama club, she found that she had a talent for acting and she was really very good at it. She wasn't too invested in it, it just kinda came naturally to her and so she acted along with practicing magic. She normally got roles that were pretty big, but she never got nor did she wish to get the lead roles.
Around when she was 11, though, something happened. She was performing for her class one day during their freetime and someone had ended up messing up the act by throwing a book at her props. When she was reaching over to grab the props she lost her footing and fell, causing everyone to laugh at her. The girl was embarrassed and angry, and quickly looked over to see who had thrown the book. She found them and shoot them a nasty glare, wishing that something bad would happened to them. Heather looked at the tree branch that was just above them, and she wanted it to fall on them so bad. She looked back at the kid, and was stunned to have found that the tree branch did fall and that he had just barely escaped it. Everyone was checking to see if he was all right and Heather merely got up and picked up her props. She later told James and her family about this, and they all thought that it couldn't just be a coincidence. After a few more occurrences like this, they sent Heather off to a school for gifted that they had found out through looking into it called the T'zenshin Institute. Heather quickly got herself comfortable, and it wasn't long until her brother was sent to the same school for being about to manipulate gravity. The school helped her with her power greatly and she found that she rather likes it here and she hopes that this year will be just as good as the others.

Gift: Heather has the gift of "bad luck". That is to say, she can influence some sort of bad luck to come about someone, such as causing things to fall on people, things to break, and such. This doesn't mean that she can give people bad luck for a certain amount of time, though, it's just that she can cause things to happen that would normally be caused or blamed on bad luck, although there's no promise that her powers will actually harm the person she intends it to because they can easily get out of the way. It used to be uncontrollable and reacted to her emotions, but now she's gotten the hang of it and only a seething anger or hate really cause this gift to work on its own.
