Heyate sat gazing at the front of the vacant room, it had been little effort for him to get here early as his lunch times didn't consist of spending as much time as possible with friends, rather it was spent eating lunch while doing his best to look unapproachable then spending the rest of the time waiting at his next class. Now he waited for the bell sitting towards the back of the classroom by a window, every now and then gazing out it at the people outside.
His uniform was worn exactly as intended his hair tidy, shoes polished. He had even gone to the trouble of getting a pair of earphones that connected wirelessly to his MP3 and hidden it behind his hair, the fact that it was playing full ball however, shattered the illusion. He was prepared to do most things to make sure no one had any reason to be drawn to him, but he would not forfeit his music.
A class for gifted students people... like me...[/i] Heyate thought to himself minutes before it was time for the bell to ring. Outside a group of friends seated around a large tree were suddenly accosted by some older looking students, all with scrappy looking uniforms that were obviously meant to show some form of rebellion or uniqueness in them, no doubt the moment a teacher walked by and gave them a few words they would be back to looking like model students, till the teachers backs were turned again. The younger group of students had chosen to give up their seats with little resistance and walked away in a rush as the older students took their seats and tried to make out they had accomplished something today.
...No... Heyate decided as he switched his gaze to the front of the room and leaned back in his chair.
...None of them are anything like me, none of them are worth my time. [/i]
Heyate checked his watch, it was not long before the bell was due to ring, not that he would hear it.
