Katherine cried until sleep overcame her and she was lost in a world of unconsciousness. Her sobs slowed to sniffles before her breathing calmed. A few final tears slid down her red cheeks and her grip on the man loosened a little as she fell asleep.

Her dreams were full of confusion, and a soft whimper would escape her lips throughout the night, but she remained still throughout the whole night.

Unlike most nights, Sven fell asleep soon after Katherine, unconsciousness and a dreamless sleep taking over him. He was so exhausted he didn't even know if he had dreamed at all, he didn't care. He was finally able to sleep soundly with Katherine at his side. His arms were tightly wrapped around her so she felt secure and could sleep properly as well.
