It took them a good forty-five to analyze the text and answer the questions. Matthew didn't just want to point out the answer to her, because that wouldn't help her in the least bit. He gave her hints, helped her develop skills in order to skim and search, and was very patient the whole time they worked together.
The time had passed and it was nearing six in the evening. Surely Sven would be back at the dormitory by now. He tried to remember who's turn it was to make dinner that night, but for some reason, was unable to recall the memory.
And so, he began to gather his things and shove them into his backpack as they finished up their work.

The kiwi girl was pleased with the one on one tutoring she was getting from Matthew, not only was she able to be close to him but she also learned how new skills to help her in English more. She knew she would be able to get a decent mark with him helping her.
As they finished up that sheet, Skye noticed him begin to shove things in his bag. A frown pierced her lips, "Is it time for you to go already..?" She said, sounding genuinely disappointed by this. That and she hadn't had a chance to make a move, yet!

Matthew glanced up from his bag-shoving and paused for a moment, registering her disappointed tone. She seemed genuinely upset over the fact he was leaving, which he found slightly odd... Then again, she could be friendly, and from what it looked like, maybe she didn't have a roommate? In the time that Matthew had been coming to her dormitory for study sessions, he'd never seen any sign of another occupant to the dormitory. Maybe she'd gotten lucky and either her roommate didn't show up or there weren't enough female students for her to end up with a roommate.
Whatever the case, maybe the girl was just lonely, and Matthew knew how that felt, and that's what made him feel guilty for leaving the poor girl. But he knew that if he didn't leave soon, his phone would start going off and Sven would probably not be too pleased on the other end. Hell... He wouldn't be surprised if that call showed up within the next few minutes.
"I think it's my turn to cook dinner tonight, and I don't want my roommate to starve when he's so important to our school." A small, sad smile slid upon his lips. In his mind, it was sad because everyone cherished Sven, and so he wasn't just Matthew's... Sven belonged to the Student Body... But hopefully, Skye would interpret the sad smile differently, if she saw it sad at all.

Skye stood up from the couch, the frown on her lips remaining on her face even as Matthew spoke about his roommate probably going to starve if he didn't get home now. It seemed weird, wouldn't Mr. Vice President just cook his own food?
Shrugging it off, Skye turned to face Matthew, and took the moment as an opportunity to make the move she had been wanting to the entire time. "Well.. how about instead of studying next time we meet up, we go to dinner?" She asked, obviously hinting towards a date like outing. Haha, there! Now she'd definitely get a reaction.

...
....
.....
......
What?
Matthew blinked a few times at the girl next to him. The offer seemed harmless enough, but the tone in her voice, the way she moved her body, the look in her eyes... Matthew knew them well. They were the movements of a girl who liked someone. And it suddenly dawned on him that Skye very well might like him more than he'd thought.
She was expecting an answer, and he was staring at her dumbly for a moment, which probably made him look like a real idiot. He couldn't be rude... He would give her a chance. Because Matthew Fletcher, unlike his female counterpart, was a single young man and it would only be natural for a single young man to accept a dinner offer from a nice young lady.
A smile spread across pale lips and fake-brown eyes gave a soft shine. "If that's what you'd like to do, then how does Thursday evening sound?"

His silence and dumbfound expression dawned on her, was he going to reject her? Had she messed up again and gone to quickly with everything? Then again, he hadn't noticed her revealed cleavage or any other acts to try and get him to notice so maybe the expression was acceptable.
But then he asked her about Thursday evening. It took her a minute to register his acceptance to her offer. A bright smile spread across her lips and she stepped forward, giving him a light hug before stepping back. "That sounds great! I'll see you then?" She said, her voice changing again, seeming more excited now.

Matthew let out a light laugh and returned the hug lightly, letting his arms wrap around her thin waist. It had been so long since he'd last hugged a female. She feels so small against him, even though he's rather small himself. He wonders if this is how Sven feels when they're hugging...
When they part, Matthew gathers his things and heads for the door. He gives a light wave before he heads out and he's on his way back to his own dormitory room, still living the moment as Matthew as much as he can... Because it somehow feels natural. Of course, he knows he's not really Matthew.... But the persona was one he'd lived since he lost his memory... So it felt right...
The moment he stepped into their shared dormitory room on the second floor, Matthew knew it was over. He shut his eyes and let out a deep sigh, letting himself remember his place and who he was...
Katherine Fletcher moves into the room, heading for her bedroom in order to drop her backpack and take off her shoes. Once that's done, she's off to the kitchen to start dinner, not entirely sure if her boyfriend is or is not in the dorm.

Skye smiled as Matthew left, closing the door as he departed down the hall to return to his dormitory. She leaned against the door, feeling ecstatic and over the moon now that she had an official date with Matthew Fletcher! ~*~*~*~ Sven Carlisle, Student Council Vice-President, had actually gotten home a good twenty minutes after his girlfriend had left the dormitory to go on her little study date with a class mate who was nicknamed Kiwi. Though he was upset about it, he didn't want to make too much of a fuss, Katherine had a good point that she was still in fact Matthew to the rest of the school. So, to take his mind off it, he had busied himself in his room with Student Council preparations for the School Fesitival in May, such as writing up application forms, seeing who would like to participate and helping with the article in the school newsletter about it with the newspaper club. Also to help, Sven had his iPod on, and it wasn't playing Radiance this time, he had some English music on, it was a mixture of rock, punk rock and that very small hints of screamo in some of the lines. It was the other genre that the boy liked. Due to this, he didn't hear his girlfriend enter the house, he remained in his room, mouthing lyrics and typing away at his laptop.

Katherine wasn't sure how to describe the feeling in her chest. She... felt almost depressed. As she stood there in the kitchen, pulling out the ingrediants to making chicken tenders and instant mashed potatoes. It was a simple meal, but Katherine just couldn't bring herself to make a big meal.
The depression she felt... Mainly came from the fact that spending time with Skye meant that Matthew's personality began to flesh out and flourish. Before, she would just go to class, but she never felt different between the her real self and the persona that was created. But now, since she started to spend time with Skye, she realized that she was living two separate lives and... it was really depressing.
She continued her cooking, a sort of distant look in her fake eyes as she did so. And when she placed the chicken in the smaller conventional oven to bake and the water for the mashed potatoes on the stove, she went to her room and slipped her contacts out, opting for her glasses.
She returned to the kitchen in time to start the potatoes.

Sven typed away at his laptop, half way through the small, in a nut shell explanation about the Festival happening in May for the newsletter. He changed the song, happy that it was an upbeat punk rock song and began to move a little to the beat as he typed.
But then he smelled something.
Something delicious was cooking in the kitchen. Who on Earth would be cooking in the kitchen? Having a bit of a brain lapse, Sven paused his iPod and took the small earbuds from his ears. He proceeded to exit his room and head for the kitchen.
"AAH!" Sven screamed as he saw Katherine in the kitchen, cooking dinner. He clutched his shirt where his heart was, letting out a deep breath. "I didn't realise you were home.."

The shout caused Katherine to tense and her hand came dangerously close to the cooking pot. She cursed under her breath, shaking her hand out, and she stirred the potatoes a few times before pulling it off the stove, as she was done cooking. However, instead of moving to continue her process, she walked over to the sink to turn the cold water on and run her hand underneath it.
Yup, slightly burned. Ow.
"Who else would be cooking?" She asked with a sigh. "Besides, I wasn't sure if it was my night or not."

Sven saw her head for the sink to run her hand under the water. He then realised what people do that for. He frowned and walked into the kitchen to gently take her hand in his, bringing it to his lips where he softly kissed the wounded flesh.
"I'm sorry," He said, an apologetic expression laid on his face. "I'm not sure who's turn it is, either, but.. I can help you if you want? To make it even if it's not your night?" He said, looking through the things she had cooking. A salad or vegetables would go nicely with something like this. Mmm, he felt like salad.
He'd ask about her study 'date' with the girl over dinner.

Katherine gazed through the lenses, up at her boyfriend who looked sincerely apologetic. And she saw him... but at the same time, she didn't see him. She felt just... out of it. She let him hold onto her hand for a moment longer before she gently drew away, walking over to finish making the potatoes.
"If you'd like to help, I'm not going to stop you." She said softly as she mixed the various things into the potatoes to give them their enhanced taste. Just as she finished stirring, the conventional oven went off and Katherine grabbed an oven mit in order to take out the chicken from the little oven.

The glint in her eye worried Sven. What was she thinking about? Was it something he said? They hadn't exactly made up since she sort of... snapped at him for interrupting her on the phone last week so he wasn't sure where they stood. Or maybe something happened at school today? He'd probably never know..
Nodding, he opened the fridge, grabbing the lettuce, a carrot, some cheese and the small container of cherry tomatoes that he had bought yesterday. He thought they were cute. He grated up the carrot and cheese, sliced seven or eight tomatoes in half and threw it all into a bowl, tossing it about to mix everything together.
When he was done, he put what was left back into the fridge. He then knelt down to grab two dinner sized plates for them. He swallowed, he then turned to face Katherine, "Are you.. okay?"

Katherine took the plates from her boyfriend and paused at his question before walking over to the other counter and setting them down. She pushed her glasses up and took a spoon to scoop out some potatoes onto one plate, followed by some chicken. She then handed the plate back to her boyfriend to put some salad on it.
Suddenly... She felt too sick to eat. She shook her head and walked over to get some wrap to place over the food, so she could reheat it when she was feeling a little bit better.
"I'm going out on Thursday..." She said quietly as she handed him the empty plate. "I'm not feeling too well, so I'll just reheat dinner later..." She added as she handed him the plate.
