Klaus took his hands from behind his head, and raised an eyebrow at Mr. Parker's...eh, surprise? What was so shocking? That Klaus could actually smile like that? Though it was definitely the first time he was that happy in this stupid class...

"'Kay then, see you tomorrow Mr. Parker!" Klaus said, turning around and finally going out to leave the room. Let's see...first he would probably check some things for student council and see if he needed to do anything...then do all his homework, maybe practice his violin or viola after that...and then finally do some extra (the thought made him groan) Government studying so he wasn't a complete moron tomorrow.

He had a lot to do. Ah well...he'd live until break, hopefully.

Christopher watched his student leave the room and paused for a long moment, just staring at the door. Normally, the twenty-four year old man could care less what a student's grade was. If they did their work, they'd get a good grade. He wasn't a strict teacher, so there wasn't much they needed to worry about for classes...

But there was something in Klaus's expression, and in his eyes, that the teacher had never seen before in a student. He'd seen the "I-want-to-learn" expressions... But... Klaus's was different. Was the Student Council harsh about the grades of their members? Or was there a deeper meaning behind it?

The dark haired man shook his head and sighed, sitting back in his chair for a moment and staring at his black computer screen. He didn't have any papers to grade, since it was the Monday after the break, so he could simply just go home.

Ah, the video games were calling his name.

He rose from his chair, picked up his work bag and thermos (full of tea) and pulled his jacket off the back of his chair to sling over his shoulder before he walked to the door. He glanced back into the classroom and flipped off the lights before starting on his journey to town, where his apartment awaited him.
