Appearance: Kane is 5'7 tall and is a lean, string bean. He has a peachy complexion and has reddish auburn short, shaggy hair that reaches the nape of his neck. Other than occassionally dying his hair, Kane does nothing else to it other than running a comb through his hair once or twice in the morning to tame bedhead, but it still may look quite messy. He also has slanted, hazel brown eyes that he usually hides behind ruby color eye contacts. He also has thick dark brown eyebrows that you probably won't see beneath his shaggy bangs that cover his entire forehead. He has a strong English accent.

Clothing Style: Kane cares little about he appearance and cares even least about what people think of it. Outside of his school uniform, he's very casual and will wear whatever's clean. He will can usually found in loose jeans, cargo pants, or sweat pants along with t-shirts or sweatshirts. He also likes wearing hockey jerseys, hoodies, or whatever his grandmother sends him in the mail that he's willing to wear.

PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Personality wise, Kane is opposite of his brother Isley. He doesn't try to be or do anything he isn't to be or do. He doesn't try to put up a front for anyone and if he's angry, you'll know it. On the outside, he could be seen as a complete delinquent or gangster for his lack or respect for authority. In public, he can be cold and withdrawn depending on his mood and the people. Otherwise, he could be quite hotheaded and could snap at the smallest things.
While his expression usually says "leave me alone," Kane's not all that troubled on the inside. He's usually in a good mood, and enjoys making trouble for other people around him as his grandmother may say, "a cry for attention and care." He has a big sadistic streak, too, and would happily get into a fight if it meant beating the crap out of someone.
Kane isn't really nice or friendly to anyone, unless it's a girl that he wants to mess with. Other than that, the only person who he tries to be nice to is his grandmother, who cares about him, and believes in him no matter what stupid, violent or horrible thing he may do.

BACKGROUND
History: Kane grew up in Canterbury, England along with his older half brother, Isley Black. He was never very fond of his parents, even at a young age. Isabella always had most of her attention on either Isley or his father, Thomas Cox. Thomas, though he tried to be a good father, was mostly caught up in his career in music. It made Kane very envious, so he did what he could to get their attention. He constantly picked fights with Isley, who wasn't very good at fighting, and he played multiple pranks on his mother and father. He captured so much of their attention then, but all of it was negative, and that wasn't what he wanted at the time.
A small turning point for Kane was in the very early years of grade school and preschool. Isley was forced to take special education classes, and other children frequently bullied him because of it. At first, Kane could care less; he really didn't like Isley anyway. Then at some point, he realized it. Isley was a ditz, a complete idiot, a moron! Isley couldn't remember what he had for breakfast by lunchtime on the same day, and he was easily distracted! Despite all of that, he really tried and worked hard to fix himself and concentrate. Most importantly, Isley was Kane's big brother, and if anyone was going to torture him, then it was only going to be Kane!
So then, Kane set to work by beating the crap out of every student teased Isley, and bullied Isley himself when they got home. It got him into a whole lot of trouble at school and at home, but it was worth it. More than that, Kane realized that he loved fighting, even if he lost. He never felt so alive or so much adrenaline until those times. He loved causing another person pain.
During grade school, Isabella and Thomas Cox dropped Kane and Isley off at their grandparents house for a life on the road. Thomas wanted to be in a band more than being with his children, and Isabella seemed to be all for it. Kane came to resent them both for that, and welcomed the move to his grandparents house in Exmouth, England.
During this time, Kane grew the most, and it wasn't for the good either. He got involved with several other children in his new neighborhood who enjoyed playing with fireworks and small explosives. Kane, too, became fascinated with explosives and fireworks at his young age. So, he researched and studied the topic more, until his curiousity led him to a very strange old gentleman in his neighborhood who had the same fascination. Kane's grandfather, Harvey, forebed Kane from visiting the man, but he did so anyway. The old gentleman, Walt Kinkle, taught young Kane everything he knew about making homemade fireworks and explosives.
At school, Kane became sort of a leader of the other hoodlums in his school. He got into fights regularly, played many pranks on innocent students and teachers and even set off small explosives like stink bombs in school. He was never out of trouble, and some students even thrived to be like him, so there were many copycats that he involuntarily took the blame for.
Near his last years of grade school, were some of Kane's worst pranks. He was on bad terms with the P.E. teacher for his disrespect and an earlier prank he pulled, and the man had the guts to hit him, believing that no one would believe a delinquint like Kane anyway. In retaliation, Kane hid several explosives in the gym, and waited until a time he knew that the teacher would be inside alone to detonate them. He had completely forgot that the P.E. teacher was also the coach of the basketball team, and was randomly coaching the team that morning. The explosives went off, the gym caught fire, several students were injured, but no one had to stay too long in the hospital. The police never found enough evidence to trace it back to Kane.
The next year, Kane was expelled from grade school. He had taken part in a fight with another school in the area, and gotten caught. Several students from both sides were injures, and the school was already itching to get rid of him, so out he went, but not without one last blast. Literally.
Grandpa Harvey had had enough with Kane. Throughout it all, he tried everything to put Kane on the right track. From fishing, from teaching Kane boxing, putting him in an anger management class, and therapy. Nothing worked. So, Harvey gave Kane a few more options. He was going to put Kane out on the street, send him to boot camp, send him off to live with his parents on the road, or he could go to the T'zenshin Institute with Isley.
Out of them all, Kane liked the last option the most. Even though he wouldn't admit, he missed (torturing) Isley, so he went to the T'zenshin Institute.
Throughout his years at T'zenshin, Kane has calmed down a little and matured, but he still keeps his reputation by causing pranks, and getting into fights.
Secrets: Kane is bisexual and he has had experience with both boys and girls. Even though he's normally rude to his brother, he has sort of a man crush on him. If his grandmother stopped believing in him, then he would stop believing in himself.
At his old school, before he was expelled for something else entirely, Kane blew up/set fire to the P.E. building with explosives and minorly injured a few people. The police couldn't find any evidence that it was him, so he was never caught.
Kane has a police record, but it's very short because he rarely ever gets caught.
