Appearance: Evelyn has a very delicate and frail looking body, and she looks even more frail because of her height. She stands at a tiny 4'11" and is rather skinny, not seeming to have a lot of body fat, and she also has small breasts that are barely a B cup. Her skin is also pale, so pale that it's obvious she doesn't get out much. Her hair is a shade of blond that might be called golden, though that's only when it's in the light. Otherwise, her hair is kind of a light color, and her hair goes down in waves to her midback. Bangs fall just above her eyes, which are a shade of red that would be weird in a normal setting. She's actually kind of pretty, though she only really has that look about her when she's smiling or is happy, and that's not too often. Normally, her face is full of sadness and is blank, not really expresses much emotion at all.

Clothing Style: Evelyn doesn't really like to dress down, and prefers to wear blouses and skirts or full on dresses. She doesn't really try to stand out that much, though, and she keeps it plain and simple. Color wise, she likes to wear mutated, earthy colors instead of bright and vibrant ones. She's not one for jewelry, either, expect for the amber star necklace that she always wears.

PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Evelyn is a shy, quiet girl who tries not to stand out. She's not very good with talking to people and because of this, she doesn't really have any friends. To try to not talk to people, she's always working on something, whether she's trying to make her skills better or she's doing school work. Rarely does she show much of a real backbone, because she's really just...afraid to get close to people. She's always afraid that, after she gets close to someone, she'll end up getting betrayed and left all alone again. Though, she does want a friend and she wants to feel accepted and loved, but she doesn't know how to go about it. She's always too afraid and scared to think properly when she's in a real social situation, and it gets worse when that person is bigger and tougher looking than she is.
However, there are times when she throws her shy personality away, and she lets her real self shine through. Evelyn deeply and strongly believes in everyone being treated equal, and when faced with a debate about the topics of such things, she lights up and she raises her voice, so much so that people wonder if she's really Evelyn. She's willing to throw away her fear of public speaking when she has to fight for her beliefs, and she's an extremely loyal friend. She honors trust, deals, and everything else to the extreme, and she always tries to be as polite as she can. She hates looking like she's putting someone down, or if it seems like she's being rude. Really, Evelyn is just a generally sweet, kind natured girl with a little lack of confidence.
Also, when she's around people who manage to befriend her, she stutters less and is a lot more open with how she feels. She has a strong sense of loyalty, and refuses to let her friends down. She'll never betray someone she cares about, and will always stand by there side. She's really a good person to have as a friend, though it's actually getting past that that's hard.

BACKGROUND
History: Evelyn Akina was a girl born in Berlin, Germany, as the second child of the Akina family. Her mother was a water user, and her father, an illusionist. While her brother got the water manipulating powers from their mother, Evelyn got the ability to create illusions.
And so, Evelyn was being taught by her father, while Jizabel was being taught by their mother. All four of them shared a close bond, and they loved each other deeply. Evelyn's mother always worked at home, and her father also spent a lot of his time at home, due to them both being authors. They got a lot of money for their job, though Michael, her father, had a side job to help support them some more, though they barely needed it.
And there was one person who Evelyn was closest to in her family. Her dear brother, Jizabel. The two of them were always stuck together like glue, and they loved being together. Whenever they both had free time, Jizabel would take Evelyn out on walks, let her see the sights, and keep her company. She adored being by his side, and was always such a warm and happy little girl around her family.
However, when she was at school, this was a different matter. Evelyn was never good at making friends or talking to others, which made her shy away from real friendships. Of course, she still spoke with people, but she never really got them to talk to her. But that didn't really matter. She had her family, and blood's thicker than water, right?
Though, there was one event that really made young Evelyn upset. Her brother was going to be attending T'zenshin, and he would have to leave Berlin to attend said school. So now, Evelyn was stuck in a life with only her parents, and the days seemed to blend together. Nothing ever really changed when Jizabel was at school, and Evelyn would always spend her time inside, looking up chemistry or just reading. Sometimes, she would spend time with her parents but it just wasn't the same.
The main joy that came to her life during these times were the calls that her brother would sometimes make, or the times when they would be able to talk on the computer. The bond the two of them shared was special, and the two of them would always, always be together...
And then, Jizabel and Evelyn were both enrolled in T'zenshin. It was Jizabel's last year, and Evelyn just entered. Both of them were expected to make their powers better and learn how to control them better at this school, and they intended to make their parents proud. Evelyn doesn't remember much about her first year at the T'zhenshin, though. She remembers bits and pieces, but only one moment stands out in her memory: on one of the last days of school, Jizabel had given her an amber necklace in the shape of a star, hanging on a golden chain. They were both alone, and the two of them made a promise that's still fuzzy in her mind. All she remembers is that she eagerly agreed to what he said.
The two of them still talk, but neither of them ever talk about that year. It's confusing, but Evelyn thinks that if she doesn't want to talk about it, then they won't. Now, her brother is in a University, working so that he can become a Historian and an author, while Evelyn is in her second year at T'zenshin, studying as much as she can so that she can have a good future...and hoping that she can remember some of her first year at T'zenshin.
