Bonnie couldn't help but roll her eyes a little as the male listed what he had in his fridge. This, again, didn't surprise her one bit. For one, he was a boy and boys didn't know how to shop for food. For two, he was Isley Black and she knew him to be quite lazy when it came to shopping. So of course, this was something she had expected.
"That's plenty enough to eat for the evening, so let's just get you back to your dormitory. I can go shopping for you tomorrow after classes are out." She then looked up at him, gazing up into his beautiful face. "Ah, are you sure you're alright with carrying Cherri? I don't want carrying her to cause any strain to your arm."
As she moved to examine his arm, she noted some dirt on his clothes. Down a stairwell...? How would he have gotten so dirty if he'd fallen down a stairwell? Something told her that he had fibbed earlier, but she'd let it slide for now... Though, she made it a point to confront Kane later and scold him for his actions.

He grinned when Bonnie said she'd go shopping for him later. That was just like her. He blinked when she asked about his arm and then looked down fondly at Cherish. He was holding Cherish with his left, uninjured arm at his side, while his injured arm was safe from strain. Still, even if he was carrying Cherish with his other arm, he doubted it would strain him. Cherish was small for a child her age. "It's fine. I can't feel a thing."
Speaking of his arm, he almost forgot about the guy who shoved him off a hiking trail. He knew Kane left the hospital a while ago. Shortly before Bonnie came in, Kane had come to his room in the hospital ro see how he was doing and then left. He wasn't sure where his brother had gone afterwards. Probably back to the dormitory. Hopefully, he'd remember to go back to Marl Peaks to remember to get their bikes. After that thought, he pulled his arm from its sling to take his cell phone out his pocket and send Kane a short text message.

Bonnie gave a small nod when he seemed fine carrying their daughter, so she let it go for the time as they continued walking. But at the sight of him taking his arm from the sling to take out his cellphone, she frowned and reached forward to take the device from his hand, giving him a stern look.
"You can't be texting with a broken arm." She scolded. "If you can't play in orchestra, then you can't be texting." She looked down at the phone and glanced at the unfinished text. She rose an eyebrow at the message. "Bikes?" She looked back up at the boy. "Are you going to tell me what really happened or am I going to have to beat it out of you?"

"Heeey.." Isley muttered in protest when Bonnie snagged his cell phone from his hands. He was fine texting with a broken arm, his fingers still worked just as well. "I can still play as long as I have both my hands. It's not that bad, that's why I plan to go back to class tomorrow," he said and reached over to take his cell phone back from Bonnie.
He glanced away, inwardly cursing when Bonnie read the text. He looked back to Bonnie, putting on his best innocent expression. "I have no idea what you mean." He casually changed the topic and reached over to brush a bit of Bonnie's hair behind her ear. "Did I tell you how pretty you look today? Did you do something different with your hair?"

Bonnie frowned as he took the phone back. She was sure it wouldn't be very good to try to play with a broken arm, but if he was confident in being able to do so, there was nothing she could do to stop him. He had always been a very stubborn boy. She let him have his phone for now... Though if she ever caught him with it in class, she would definitely take it... Maybe even put it down her shirt, where he couldn't get it while he was in a room full of people.
At the feeling of his soft fingers brushing through her hair to tuck some hair behind her ear, her cheeks turned red and she gave a small pout. She knew he was just trying to distract her from the text he had tried to read and she turned face away, scowling a little at the ground as they continued to walk.
"You're not getting off that easily, Isley Black..." she muttered.

Isley quickly finished and sent the text before slipping his cellphone back into his pocket. He smirked when he heard Bonnie mutter that she wasn't giving up just yet. He'd just have to make her forget all about the text message. He didn't particularly want to involve Bonnie in any trouble that he and his brother got into now that she was a teacher. He didn't want Bonnie to jepardize her career because of him. "I didn't expect to, Teacher. You're not going to give me a detention later, are you?"
He paused in step for a moment and then came to a halt when they had to stop at a crosswalk to wait for a few cars to drive by. Breifly, he lent down, tilted Bonnie's chin up with his free hand and kissed her. He wanted to kiss her for a while now. After a pause, he stood up straight and grinned. "Let's continue that later, ok?"

Bonnie couldn't help but roll her eyes at the boy's comment. She was sure that this was only the beginning of the 'Teacher' comments, seeing as he loved to tease her about her age. She was only four years older than him, but he treated her like an old lady sometimes. At times, she had to wonder if he really viewed her as just some boring adult... She shook that thought from her mind to make room for thinking of something witty to say in return to his comment. However, he prevented her from doing so. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched him move until he stood in front of her and she looked curiously up at him before noting him moving down and taking her chin.
Her eyes widened when their lips connected in a kiss. It was the last thing she had expected, though she definitely didn't mind it. She stood up on her tip toes in order to press her lips back against his, getting a kiss of her own before he pulled back. Her lips curled into a pout as she was sure that it was something to get her mind of his phone, but she couldn't help but flush pink at his comment of continuing later.
She looked away, pouting cutely as the light turned green and she started walking across the street. "Don't think you're off the hook yet, young man." She teased, using a 'teacherly' tone as she spoke.

Isley only grinned and followed her across the street, feeling slightly more confident that he had gotten her to stop frowning and even made her blush. Plus she hadn't even turned him down. He didn't think he'd be happy about breaking his arm, but now he was. Wait, what was he on the hook for again? Ah, right, she had read his message to Kane. It was better to just play it off. "Wow, scary, but I understand. I've been bad and should be punished. I don't expect any less from you, Teacher," he said with a bit of a flirtasious tone to his voice.
He blinked, a little surprised when his pants pocket began to chirp, but realized that it was just his cell phone. He slipped his cell phone out of his pocket, flipped it open and then read the text. It was from Kane, saying that he had just moved their bikes back to the dormitory. Good man. Isley quickly texted back to his brother that he was returning to the dorm with Bonnie and then slid his phone back into his pants pocket. Hopefully, Kane would already know not to show his face in front of Bonnie yet. He wouldn't be able to avoid her question if she saw that Kane was injured with a nasty burn surprisingly the same time as him with a broken arm. He knew she wasn't as slow to catch on as other people.

Bonnie blushed at his tone of voice, but shook her head and smiled as she fell back into step with the boy. She glanced at him as he pulled his phone from his pocket again, but she'd let it slide for now. They were in public and she couldn't quite forcably take away the phone unless they wanted to end up in some sort of awkward position in front of anyone who might be wandering the town. And so, she merely settled for bringing her finger up to gently poke his cheek.
"Just you wait until we get to your dormitory..." she let the threat trail off, a sly smirk slipping upon her lips.

Isley blinked when Bonnie poked him in the cheek and then did so again when he realized he was getting just a little too excited by her threatening him and smiling at him that way. He blushed faintly and looked away.. Kittens! A box of kittens! Now a box of kittens was that was adorable, and so was Cherish..He should get her a kitten for a birthday, or some sort of pet like a hamster. She'd probably like to his his aquarium, too. He thought randomly as an effort to to successfully change topics in his mind.
He brushed a stray lock of hair behind Cherish's ear and then glanced to Bonnie. "Do you think Cherri is old enough for a hamster?"

Cherish snuggled closer to her father's shoulder, resting her head in the crook of his neck as she napped. Bonnie glanced up at her daughter's father curiously, slightly confused about the question she had just been asked. She thought it over, though, for a moment before she gave a light shrug.
"I don't know about a hamster... They're so small and there's a chance it could get lost pretty easily. Plus, she's still so small... Maybe a cat would be better suited for her."
She glanced up at him again. "Why do you ask, Dear?"

Isley nodded in agreement as Bonnie spoke about hamsters and Cherish. "Yes, a cat would probably be best, but I was thinking she should be started off with something small and cheap." When he was young, most of his first pets died quick when he forgot to feed them... He was sure Cherish wouldn't grow up to be as forgetful as he was though.
"I was thinking of buying her a pet for her birthday, but it's a while away anyway." He said and glanced to the side in thought as they walked towards the dormitory, which was drawing closer.
