Nicolette offered another smile before turning her attention back out to the seats of the auditorium. Her work was done here, but she had the rest of the class period to do as she pleased considering she was only missing an elective and the teacher knew very well of the skill she possessed in art.
"You mentioned that you have learned a lot of this information before?" She glanced at the girl out of the corner of her eye for a moment before looking back forward. "Then why attend school again and again if you already know so much?"

Natsuki blinked and thought over the girls question for a moment. " It's easier to keep up appearances. This is the original form in wich I was incarnated in, and the one I have the most power in socially. The generation is so centered on the youth, any other age would be inconvinient. It's easier just to go through the motions again and again in this form. If I were to go off in any other form it would be only a nussiance. There is less responsibility like this." She turned to look at the other girl and see her reaction to her words.

Nicolette took in the information for a moment and let it go through her mind as she tried to formulate a response. She was slightly confused by what the girl said, so she had to ask the question on her mind.
"Being a teenager does require a lot more responsibility than most other forms considering they not only have to focus on growing up, but they must focus on school and their grades." She looked at Natsuki. "If you wanted to keep up the facade, then would it not be wise to attend classes to draw attention away from yourself? While I do not have a reason to pry and use information against you, there are a handful of other people out there who would do so in a heartbeat."
She looked back out into the audience. "Why people do such things, I will never know..." Her tone was soft and slightly confused, but she shook her head. "People are people, I suppose. In order to defend themselves, they must attack others." She shrugged and smiled at Natsuki.

Natsuki only laughed and rolled her eyes. "You really don't see how easy you have it. None of you see. You are all so strange....School and homework and grades and appearance and dating is all you have to worry about. Unless you have a different circumstance. Being in this form....lets me ignore everything...all my past and I can just pretend..." She cut herself off. Why was she talking about this to a complete stranger? A human no less. How irritating.
Natsuki smiled a little more ruefully. "Humans are animals underneath and it all comes down to survival and who comes out on top."

"Maybe we are..." The young woman whispered gently just as the bell run through, echoing in the empty room. She stood from the stage and brushed off the back of her skirt. She picked up her backpack and smiled down at Natsuki, extending a hand to help her stand.

Natsuki frowned a little. She hadn't meant to upset the girl. But...what she had said is what she felt was truth. She wasn't about to lie about something that was truth.But still...maybe she ought to give some sort of comfort? As the bell rang and the other girl stood and held out her hand Natsuki smiled and accepted it as she slid off the stage. "But there are some who do have compassion and aren't all bad. After all...we aren't perfect."
