Natsuki sighed and tapped her pen against a page of her math homework. Math....sucked. She sat with her legs dangling from the edge of the stage. This was a wonderful place to just think and hide when you wanted to be alone. It seemed appropriate since to her life and her personality was nothing more than an act. Ugh, enough deep thoughts. She needed to finish her homework... "Screw it." She muttered to herself and put away her math. She couldn't focus. She would just have to finish it later. She now had the rest of the period to herself, since she had cut. Another good thing about this place was that no teacher came here.

The theatre was in need to be used the coming up Friday to announce the information for the school dance. Booking had been held and the blonde female walked to the large area, her eyes scanning over it; if repairs were needed, she would need to call into town that afternoon in order for them to be made before the assembly.
Nicolette De la Fontaine opened the door just enough for her to slip inside before she let it close behind her. This period was usually her art class, but she had been released for both her art and home economics classes in order to get the information processed for the assembly. She knew being a Student Council member was going to be hard work, which is why she only had two other compeditors when it came to elections at the end of the previous school year. She'd been recommended by a few of her teacher's to run, she ran, and was elected. At first, it had been a blessing... But now, she wasn't so sure.
She was surprised to find that someone was sitting on the stage. Classes were in session, so the room should have been completely bare. She walked down the sloped walk-way, approaching quietly as she walked up the steps on the side. When she reached the stage, she paused and then hesitantly spoke.
"Ah, excusez-moi..."

Natsuki looked up to see a girl. She had no clue on who she was but she was probably human. She tried to just overlook that fact and gave a friendly smile. "Hi, there. You cutting too?" She patted the available space next to her. "Plenty of room for you too." She had a bright inviting smile. "What are you cutting for? I'm cutting math. Gosh, I know I can afford to. I should know all about, I mean, I've learned it over several centuries and bound to be forced into learning it in the future as well." Her voice was perky and cherpy. If only she knew that this girl was on the student council. She might not be on the SFF but she could give any SFF member a run for their money.

Nicolette wasn't entirely sure what to make of the girl... She was very open and forward about herself, revealing that she was quite old. She didn't seem to even know Nicolette's position.
The blonde female walked over to the part of the stage that Natsuki patted and folded her skirt against her legs in order to sit down. She looked at the girl next to her and tilted her head to the side.
"Technically, I'm cutting art class, since it is an elective that I have been taking since I was a seventh year... But I have permission to be cutting." She brushed some hair over her shoulder. "I was supposed to come check the auditorium to see if it was in need of any repairs."

Natsumi chuckled a little. "Permisson to cut? Huh, wish my teacher was that cool. I think my teacher just might off themselves before they gave permission to cut. Your teacher must be very laid back. Gosh, what I wouldn't give for my taecher to be like that." She gave an easy and laid back smile until she heard the girls last comment. Why would she give a hang about repairs...unless...she wasn't part of the regular student body....unless..unless maybe she was part of the student council. But no...she was just being paranoid, perhaps. "And why might you need to do that?"

Nicolette pointed up at a few lights, which seemed to have burnt bulbs. "There is an assembly this Friday and we have been in need of replacing some lights... We would have had it done by the welcome assembly last month, but the people who usually do the repairs were spending the rest of their Winter vacation in California in America..."
The blonde girl gave a small shrug and a smile as she gazed back at the girl. She knew it was her job to deal out punishment... But she'd never been too good at it... Natsuki might just get lucky and get away with a warning.

Natsuki nodded and looked at the girl, her eyes narrowed a bit. "You're from the student council, aren't you?" Oh great. Just what she needed. Now she was going to get a lecture that she didn't need to hear, sit in a classroom she didn't need to be in and wasting time that could be used doing other things. Just her luck. Why couldn't it be wasted on someone who needed the lecture and the punishment and the wasted time. It's not like she needed to attend the class. She already knew all there needed to be known. Living as long as she had, proved it.

Nicolette turned her gaze to look at the empty chairs at the question. She let a small smile stay placed on her lips as her eyes gazed over each chair, checking to see if any looked to be in need of repair.
"Yes. I am in the Student Council. The president, to be precise." She explained simply. "A lot of responsibility is placed on my shoulders and it is hard to handle sometimes... I manage, though."

Oh lovely. Not just on the student council but the damn presiudent to boot. Just. Her. Luck. "Oh." She left it at that for a while. She supposed that she would just have to take the punishment that she was going to get and deal. She gave an irritated sigh that obvious said "well-if-you're-going-to-punish-me-just-do-it-now-and-put-me-out-of-my-mysery." The girl didn't seem like the bitchy type and it was sort of her job and she couldn't just let people skipping class. That wouldn't make them look good. But still. It sucked. And she has been so sure her hideing place was safe.

Nicolette could tell the girl was waiting for punishment, though she wasn't sure what kind of punishment to give. She had caught very few students skipping classes, which meant she very rarely had to deal out punishments. Things had been pretty calm for the past month of school.
She turned her gaze to look at the girl next to her. "Lunch detention, one day. You get your lunch and spend it in the Student Council room with me, helping me sort out paperwork. Nothing too fancy." She offered a small smile.

Natsumi gave a tiny smile back. What a pushover. She obviously didn't dish out punishments that often. Still....for a human she didn't seem that bad. She respected that she was doing her duty. She'd have to loose respect if she had let it slide. "Alright then. What day?" It didn't matter to her what day. These humans and mutants didn't interest her in the slightest so she really didn't have much interaction.

"How does Monday sound?" The blonde haired girl asked.
It was one of the few days she probably wouldn't have much to do other than paperwork, which was the good thing. That would mean that Monday would be an easy day. She hadn't had an easy day in such a long time...

Natsuki nodded. "Yeah. Sure. No problem." She felt a little awkward about the whole situation. Should she stay in awkward silence with the human girl or leave and get busted by a teacher. She decided that it would be better to stay. "So...What is it like...exactly...being on the council....? I mean...it has to suck...having to deal with all the work. And those rebels that cut class and purposefully break the rules." She gave a little bit of an awkward grin, feeling weird with the attempt to socialize.

Nicolette looked out at the seats of the auditorium with a small smile. She could remember the times her heart would pound as the whole student body would be staring at her, waiting for her to give her speeches.
"For someone like myself, it is a bit hard to work with at times. I was never very social and I felt like I was fooling myself when I first ran for Student Council... But enough people believed in my ability and I was elected. It is hard, yes, and I often times really do not know what to do... But I try my best to give T'zenshin what it needs."
She blushed a little and offered a sheepish smile to the girl next to her. "People think I am antisocial since I do not usually start conversations... In all out reality, I am just a little shy... But get me talking and all I do is ramble. I apologize."

She nodded and gave a tiny smile. "I'm sure that T'zenshin is grateful for your efforts then." Miss Student Council didn't seem all that bad. Maybe people were just trying to give the student council a bad name. She didn't seem opressive at all. Then again, it could all be a show. Humans were not to be trusted. Anyone really.
Natsuki laughed a little. "It's fine. It's good to ramble if you don't talk too much. It helps you ease your way into a conversation."
