There's A Spy Among Us {Harai/Maven}

Their surroundings were beginning to darken, the street lights were becoming their only source of light. They would have to watch where they stepped and make sure they didn't fall into any ditches, walk into any poles or anything. Sven was pretty sure a few clumsy, easily distracted people would have done that plenty of times during this time of night. He couldn't help but grin at that thought.

Glancing down at Katt made him grin even more, he then pulled her to the side so they could head down a small alley way that would be a short cut to get their sooner so it wouldn't be so hard to find their way back. He was sure phone light would prove to be of very little use to them if it got too dark.

"It's quicker this way," He said softly, in almost a whisper. "Just watch your step."

"You been to the Marl Peaks before, Haru-chan?" He asked in a casual tone of voice, trying to keep their act up as much as possible. Their tones that they were using were getting too serious to pass off as a casual date between two students so he decided a different approach. Besides, he wanted to know more about Haruka and whether or not it would be worth taking her there. No use in taking her to a place she had already been.. Hmph.

Then, their targets disappeared. He slipped his greyish blue eyes closed for a few brief moments to concentrate. He could hear footsteps heading down a pathway that wasn't in front of them, it sounded enclosed, like an alley way. He then heard Sven's voice again, except it sounded a little quieter than normal, he must be whispering but it was still as if he was right beside him, talking away as if they were invisible.

That'd be an interesting power, actually. Be so cool, be able to sneak into Haru-- AH! He shook his head, he had to focus. "They've gone down an alley way. We can't follow them down the exact same one or they'd get freaked out and keep looking behind them," He kept his voice in that same casual tone but it was easy to tell he was trying to suppress his serious voice.

Matt's eyes were still trying to get used to the change in lighting of the area, seeing as the sun had finally set and the sky was dark. It seemed rather bare, though there were people here and there. He looked at his boyfriend as he was led down another path, an even darker path than the one they had previously been on. He blinked a few times, trying to focus his eyes. He reached a hand out to grab onto Sven's sleeve, trying to keep himself balanced; the ground was slightly uneven, showing the alleyway was rather abused.

"I hope you don't plan on raping me in a dark alley or something." He joked, his voice equally as quiet.

They town lights began to slowly disappear and the only light that guided them was the occasional street lamp and a few lights on some buildings. The sun had finally set and the moon wouldn't be rising for another half an hour or more.

This made Haruka nervous. She tried to keep control of her breathing and focused on the words Rai was speaking to her. She swallowed hard, forming a response to his question.

"We... came here on a field trip once in my seventh grade year... The views are nice, but I'm sure they're even nicer in the evenings, when the moon is shining."

She began to panic just slightly when they lost sight of their targets. Had it gotten so dark that they just disappeared? Rai's words gave her little comfort; they had gone down an alley and now they had to find a way to follow them without being caught. Great. At least Rai could still hear them; his gift was amazing.

She took in a shuddered breath, holding back a soft whimper as she clutched his hand tighter. This was the second time she had been caught in the dark with Rai (the first being at the dance, and she had reacted in a similar manner). She felt like the darkness was trying to close around her...

"[/i]L...Let's keep going... Until we hit the next street, and we'll turn down that way... Keep your ears open for them...[/i]"[/color]

Sven felt something clutch his sleeve, he glanced down, only just able to see Katt's thin hand clutching the material of his shirt. His heart sped up a little, he felt as he could keep her safe, that she felt secure around him. He wouldn't let anything happen to her, ever. He felt more secure about the fact that they were now completely alone down an alley way, he slid an arm around her back, resting his hand on her hip to pull her closer to him but not too close, just enough so they could walk properly.

Her comment made him laugh a little, "Oh yes, I'm going to pull you into this nearby bush and have my way with you~" He laughed a little more at the end of his sentence, making sure Katt knew he was joking along with her.

Well, that gave him something to think about. So, she had been during the day, so he would have to take her during the night, a little earlier than this so it wouldn't be so creepy and hard to see. "I'm sure it'd be even nicer with someone to go with," He replied softly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze as he continued trying to listen to Sven and whoever he was with's voice. He was beginning to feel a little freaked out with what he was hearing from them. Rape? Having his way with him? Ew. Yuck. OH NO!

Hopefully he was joking but gah, what kind of guy jokes about that? Gay ones. That's right. Gay people did that. Ew. Gross. "Yuck. They're a little close for guys," He said with a hint of disgust in his voice. He thought better of the Vice-President. Though, he was pretty sure it would be a secret that they kept. Oooh~~ that'd be interesting. "But, by the way they're walking I think we might be able to catch up to them a little bit if we take.... He glanced around, wishing he could see in the dark like a cat (Be so cool!), looking for an alley way. There were heaps of them... he pointed to one and began to walk towards it, "This one,"

Matt couldn't help but laugh along with his boyfriend. He felt like he could loosen up a bit more and be more himself...

More like Katherine.

No one was around to see them. Wherever they were going, it must be pretty secluded. The small girl blushed as she felt her boyfriend's arm slide around her waist, his hand gently touching her hip. She couldn't help but smile, feeling more feminine than she did before, now that they were so close.

"Oh no, help." She said with little enthusiasm, her voice monotone. She then let out a light laugh. "You're silly, Sven."

Haruka wasn't sure what the two were saying, but Rai seemed thoroughly freaked out by what they said. She ignored it for the moment, wanting nothing more than to cling to the man next to her. She contained herself, though, as she listened to him and followed him toward the next alleyway.

They started to go through and Haruka's breath caught in her throat. She wasn't sure if she could do this... She couldn't even see her hand in front of her face, which was a bad sign. The darkness was winning... It wanted to consume her.

A small whimper passed her lips and she stopped walking, bringing her free hand up to grip the sleeve of Rai's shirt. She shook, taking in deep, almost gasp-like breaths. She bit down on her lip, trying to keep herself quiet as she swallowed hard again.

[Faye]

Sven couldn't help but laugh again at her monotone reply, he gently pulled her a little close to him in like a.. half hug. "Oh but I could, though~ but that's not what we're doing," He said as he smiled more, feeling more secure about their relationship, feeling that he could express himself more about how he felt about his girlfriend. He continued to guide her through the darkness, trying to remember where everything was, now they would have to take this turn here... and they'll be near the gates into where people were allowed to go in the Marl Peaks.

Rai continued to concentrate on what they were saying, they were still joking about what they were talking about, raping each other, having their way, being silly. Ew. Gay bastards... He then felt something tug on his shirt, Haruka had stopped walking. In the dim street lights mixed with the moon's own light, he noticed the look on her face, she looked absolutely petrified, as hard as she was trying to hide it. He heard the whimper escape her lips and he felt like his heart tore in half.

She was scared. Very, very scared. He forgot about the mission completely and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her against his chest, trying to comfort her in some way, if she was too scared.. they could abort and head back home. "Haru-chan..." He whispered quietly.

They were approaching the end of the alleyway and Katherine paused, pulling Sven back a little bit so they were still in the shadows, but she was able to look up at him and see the outline of his face. She turned herself to look up at the tall man, stepping on her tiptoes and wrapping her arms around his neck gently.

"Well, since we are here where no one can see us..." Her voice trailed off suggestively, her lips pouting just slightly to show what she was hinting at.

Haruka shut her eyes and flung herself against Rai's chest, clutching to the front of his shirt for dear life as she shook. She was like this for a moment before her breathing calmed and her chaking came to a halt. She took in a deep breath, slowly letting it out, before she looked up at him, her eyes filled with shame.

"I...I'm so sorry..." She whispered softly. "Th... the dark..." She was too ashamed to say any more. She hated admitting her fear of the dark. She hated the darkness, how it tried to consume her. It reminded her of the darkness from the pain she had suffered as a child, when her DNA was tampered with.

She shut her eyes tight and clutched at Rai's shirt again, the memory surfacing from the back of her mind. She thought she had blocked out those horrible memories...

[Faye]

Finally, they were nearing the end of the alley way, since it was a short cut he wondered how long it would have taken them if they had taken the long way around. However, he was glad that they had taken this route, it felt like he was being watched but ever since they came down this way, the feeling had ceased.

Sven had walked a little further than Katt before he realised she had stopped, pulling him in front of her. His blinked his red eyes a few times, trying to adjust them to the dark, he could faintly see the outline of Katt's face, her arms were around his neck and he brought a pale hand up to gently caress her face, feeling himself get lost in the moment.

He said nothing and caught on to her hinting. He bent down a little, his lips softly brushing against her lips in attempt to tease her. His lips gently kissed her cheek, kissing down towards her neck before heading back to her lips. Again, his lips softly brushed against hers, a smile slipping onto his lips as he finally properly kissed her, softly and slowly to begin with.

Momentarily, Rai was shocked at how quickly she grabbed onto him, as if she was depending on him to keep her from slipping away. He held her close to his chest, his hand gently rubbing her back to comfort her, he made sure to hold her firmly, to let her know he wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

Then she spoke, about the dark. She was... afraid of the dark? He liked the dark. He wasn't going to tease her about it, especially if she reacted this way about it, "It's okay, I won't let anything happen to you," Her head was rested against his chest, near his shoulder. He rested his head against hers and sneaked in a quick kiss on the top of her head.

Katherine's heart began to race when she felt Sven's lips barely touch her's. A small whine came from the back of her throat as he moved his lips across her cheek and she moved her neck lightly when his lips touched the pale flesh, a small gasp slipping past her lips. Her eyes closed at his touch and she could feel her heart pound harder in her chest.

His lips finally connected with hers in a full kiss. The kiss was slow and gentle at first, their mouths moving tenderly together, before Katherine pulled Sven closer, pressing her lips harder against him. Her mouth moved harder against his, her kissing almost becoming desperate to taste him. She moved herself higher on her tip toes, trying to bring herself closer to him; it was times like these that she wished she was able to be herself and wear high heels, especially since her boyfriend was tall...

Nickolaus had been tall...

Haruka shook fiercely in his hold as the memory hit. However, it was very muddy and her thoughts were clouded, unable to bring out the true memory. She had remembered it few times before, and each time had her crippled to the ground, crying, before she would take the knife (or razor) and slice at the soft, smooth, pale skin of her wrist.

Rai was keeping her in one piece, keeping her from breaking like a fragile doll. He made her feel whole, which was something that wasn't easy to do... He paid attention to her; he wanted to be her friend... And something in the back of her mind whispered that he wanted her, although she couldn't believe her own thoughts. They had betrayed her before.

It was a few minutes before Haruka was able to calm her breathing, though her shaking was still there (not as violent as before, though). She swallowed hard and turned her head to gaze through her glasses up at the male in front of her. It was a little difficult to see him, but the faint light of the moon was finally making itself visible in their alleyway, giving her little comfort... But little comfort was better than none.

She swallowed hard. "O...our mission... W...We must complete it..." She said softly.

[Faye]

Sven was enjoying their lips moving tenderly against each other, he felt his heart beat faster, soon thumping hard against his ribs. He brought both of his hands up to cup her face just as she began to kiss him harder... and harder, turning it into a full on passionate kiss. He finished cupping her face with his hands, feeling her soft and smooth skin against his own. His red eyes slipped shut, one of his hands left her jaw, slowly running down her shoulder, her arm and eventually wrapped around her middle, pulling her against him.

Rai felt her shake fiercely in his hold, he wished he could help her more, he brought his hand up to rest on the back of her head, slowly rocking in attempt to try and comfort her. He knew he probably couldn't do much else, she must have had a really rough time at some point in her life to be so deathly afraid of the dark and to react like this.

She then slowly started to calm down, in turn, he slowly softened his hold. She was now looking up at him, his greyish blue eyes could just make out the outline of her face and see the lenses of her glasses, behind them were her beautiful, deep, grey eyes. He wanted to kiss her, this would normally be the moment that the guy would kiss the girl in the movies. However, he felt that it wasn't the right time.

Also, she mentioned the mission. He slowly took his arms from around her and rested his hands on her shoulders, gently rubbing them to let her know he was still here for her, "Are you.. sure? We don't have to if you can't handle it..." He said, and then realised something, "But I have a feeling you'll insist on carrying on, hm?"

[Nicolette]

Katherine clung to the man, taking a few steps back as they kissed. She kept their mouths connected in the powerful kiss and she felt the cool bricks of the building behind her against her back after two or three steps. She brought her tongue to gently lash out at his lips, as if demanding for his tongue to come out and play.

One hand moved from his neck and tangled in his hair while her other hand slid down to cling to the front of the man's shirt.

Haruka took in a deep breath and slowly let it out before she nodded. "I'll be fine... Just..." She brought one hand up, slipping her hand passed the long sleeve of Rai's jacket, and she took his hand.

"Don't let go."

[Faye]

Sven felt Katherine move back a few steps, she would now be up against the cool feel of the bricks that held up the building behind them. He felt her hand slide up through his hair and the other grip his shirt tightly. He pressed his body against her, pressing her a little more up against the wall. He brought his hand from behind her back and took the hand that was holding the material of his shirt so tightly, he slowly opened her hand for her, interlocking their fingers as he moved their hands and her arm against the brick wall. He did the same with her other hand.

He felt her tongue lash out, demanding his own tongue, he decided to play along for a moment, flicking her tongue with his own before he broke their powerful kiss, a smile playing on his lips, "This would be the part that I could have my way with you~" He whispered, his face was only a few milimetres away from hers, his body was pressed up against hers. He brought his lips down to gently brush against hers again.

"I won't, promise," He gently squeezed her hand as he took a hold of it again. Her just holding his hand made a smile tug at his lips, she made him so happy, it was a pure bliss just being with her, and being able to hold her so freely without feeling awkward or if she would slap him one for the close contact.

Since they were now back into mission mode, he took a moment to close his eyes and listen to their surroundings. Off in distance he heard crickets chirping, an owl hooting and also a few cars driving along the tar sealed road up ahead. He couldn't hear Sven's or the other one's voice at all, but he could hear heavy breathing and the odd crunching sound of stepping through gravel. Then he heard the faint whisper of Sven's voice, something similar was said to before. "This would be the part..." He said out loud to himself, reciting what Sven said, he then carried on, "..when I have my way with you..."

It took a few moments before he noticed.

"Oh yuck... Ew, I don't even wanna know what they're doing, but it seems like they aren't moving forward.."

Katherine's breathing was hard as she kissed her boyfriend. She felt his body press against hers. At first, she didn't notice that he was moving to pin her arms against the wall above her, though she felt her heart race when she did realize it. His voice, deep, husky, teasing... It was enough to drive her crazy.

She gently pushed her hips against his, unable to move much else of her body. She moved her face forward to meet his lips again.

Haruka's eyes widened at Rai's words. She knew he was repeating what he heard, but it was the fact that one of them was saying it to the other. She clutched the boy's hand and moved forward, making sure to keep her footsteps quiet. Someone like Rai would be able to hear her footsteps, but people with normal hearing wouldn't be able to hear them so well.

"We have to get closer." She whispered, afraid to raise her voice. They were getting so close to something worth reporting. She was sure of it!

[Faye]

Now that her arms were pinned against the wall, he had a lot of control over what he could do to her but he was limited to how far he could reach without giving her an opening to move her arms.

However, his thoughts about what to do next were shattered with another powerful kiss by Katherine, however it wasn't as powerful as the one before, it was a little softer. Her lips moved against his, he slowed himself down to gently and tenderly kiss her, eventually slowing down enough to stop their kiss again, to speak, "Calm down, you~" He teased, using that husky tone.

He then continued to kiss her, tenderly moving his lips against her before he gently kissed down her cheek and down her neck. His tongue softly licked her neck.

Oh they had so much dirt on him now if they could get close enough to see what was going on. Rai concentrated a little more, trying to pin point where their location was, the alley ways generally met up in the same sort of path way. They were already half way down one when he stopped to listen again, there were too many noises to concentrate on one.

"Hang on," He said softly as he listened. They were nearby-ish. He could hear Sven's voice, only faintly as he was speaking very quietly, to his own horror and want to disbelieve, he figured Sven was rather close to his 'partner' right then. He could hear their movements and figured out a way for them to go, "Right, this way," He whispered as he guided Haruka down the dark alley way, keeping his hand tightly interlocked with hers as they walked.

Katherine was small enough that he could probably hold both of her hands with just one of his. She didn't bother to struggle, though, enjoying the position she was in. Her heart beat fiercely, her whole body shivering with pleasure.

As his lips gently touched her neck, her breathing became faster again and she shut her eyes, moving her head in order to give him more access to her neck. As he licked the soft flesh, she let out a soft noise from the back of her throat, pushing her hips harder against his.

Haruka was relying on Rai's amazing gift. It was times like these that she hated how she didn't have a real gift. Sure, she could remember things easily, like photographic memory, and she could learn at an incredible rate.... But that gift came no where near what Rai's gift could do.

She followed him carefully, trying to hear if they were getting closer to the two.

[Faye]

Pleased to hear that she was enjoying his attention that he was giving her, Sven moved her hands above her head so only one of his hands was pinning her against the wall, he now had one hand to assist him in his intentions of teasing her until they could return to their dormitories. That is if they made it back there, it was getting very dark now, the Marl Peaks might even be a bit of risk.

His tongue licked at her soft flesh once more and in a few more places before he stopped, gently blowing his breath over the wet spots on her neck. His free hand slowly ran down her body, over her chest and rested on her hip, sliding up her shirt to touch her warm, smooth skin.

Rai moved quickly through the night, relying on his hearing to guide him through the thick blanket of darkness. He could barely see so if he tripped over it would be all over since Haruka would go down with him and he was sure they were close enough that Sven would hear them and get freaked out enough to keep moving to avoid being seen.

Finally they came to the end of the alley way, it was a bit brighter in the pathway since the moon was shining directly down on the black gravel path, he looked around, his ears picking up that they were a little bit further back down the path rather than further up. He squeezed Haruka's hand softly as he glanced back at her to flash her a quick smile, not minding if she couldn't see it through the darkness.

There was a corner nearby which Rai walked up to and peered around, trying to spot them. "Can you see them? He whispered very quietly to Haruka, they weren't going to move any further through the night until they were sure they weren't near this part.
