APPEARANCE DETAILS
Appearance:
Bonnie has an elegant look about herself. She stands at about five foot four inches, with a thin form (though she does have a bit of fat around her stomach from when she had Cherish). Her chest is of about a D-cup. Her face is heart shaped with sea green eyes. Her hair is a light copper color and falls in large, wavy curls to about her mid-back. Her bangs frame over her forehead, falling close to her eyes, but not quite in them. Her skin is a soft pale color, though her cheeks have a natural light-pink blush to them.
Cherish takes a lot after her mother. She’s only three years old, so she’s still quite small, but she always has a happy smile on her face. Her hair is a light copper color, like her mother’s, and she has pale skin with the light pink blush on her cheeks. Her eyes, however, are sapphire, which she inherits as a recessive gene on her father’s side of the family.
Clothing Style:
Bonnie dresses rather simply. Blouses with long skirts are often what she can be found in, or dresses when the weather is nice. She prefers lighter, warmer colors on rather than darker. She isn’t much for jewelry, though she will occasionally wear earrings and charm bracelets.
Special Accessories:
Nothing special
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality:
Despite only being in her early twenties, Bonnie acts quite mature and motherly. She was forced to grow up to be able to care for herself when Cherish was born in order to become a good example for her daughter. She is very kind and sweet to people she meets and is quite sociable. She watches her language (especially around Cherish) and is always aiming to do the right thing.
Many people would say Bonnie is like a kind mother. She gives advice to all who come to her and she tries to do what she believes is best for the people around her. She became a teacher so she could reach out and be there for the students, something that her teachers lacked from when she went to school.
Beneath all of her warmth and kindness, though, is a woman in pain. Three years ago, she had been in an abusive marriage and she had gone to one of her closest friends for comfort, only to be overcome with weakness and give herself away to him… And then became pregnant. Everything changed for her and she was scared and lost. While she did have the support of her parents, she still didn’t know what to do with herself. She devoted her life to Cherish, even while going through her few years of college to become an orchestra teacher.
Bonnie pours her soul into her violin playing in order to keep her pain from coming back.

SCHOOL/OCCUPATION
Subject:
Bonnie has taken the position of orchestra teacher and temporary choir teacher at the T’zenshin Institute. Previously, she was the orchestra teacher at a school in England. She took voice lessons in England before moving to T’zen Island so she would be able to take the choir class in the absence of the choir teacher.
BACKGROUND
History:
Bonnie Elizabeth Kendall was born in August of 1989 to Emily and Edward Kendall in Canterbury, England. Edward was a doctor at the local hospital and Emily was a well-known lawyer of a popular firm. Bonnie was an only child and her parents were often buried in their work, so she spent much of her childhood alone, or being raised by maids. Money couldn’t buy happiness, she learned from a young age. She became friends with her dolls and stuffed animals, which was enough for her.
She began to take violin lessons at the age of seven and fell in love with the instrument. She wasn’t very good at first, but she tried her hardest and practiced as much as she could. Over the years, she grew better, and the loneliness she felt soon began to disappear.
When she was fourteen years old, she was given her first job. She became the baby sitter of Isley and Kane Cox, two boys who lived in the same neighborhood as her. They weren’t much younger than her, but she was lucky to even have the job of baby sitting. She was paid good money and she made friends with the older of the two boys. She finally had a real friend, and for that, she was thankful.
At the age of sixteen, Bonnie met Kenneth Masen while Isley was off at his new school on T’zen Island. They met at the academy Bonnie attended and she found him quite attractive from the minute she saw him. They were Biology partners and she felt her heart flutter every time they spoke. Half way through the school year, she finally admitted her feelings for him, and he told her he felt the same way. They started dating and Bonnie felt like she was on cloud nine.
She kept close contact through letters with Isley whenever she could, but her letters came less and less as she became more involved with Kenneth. He often would get jealous for her spending so much time writing to Isley, so she often didn’t get a chance to write. She spent much of her time with Kenneth, and didn’t seem to notice as his personality began to change. She was merely glad that someone loved her.
Bonnie was eighteen when Kenneth proposed to her. She gladly accepted and they were married in the spring of the following year. About two months had passed and Kenneth began to change more. He began to show a darker, crueler side to himself. He would often order Bonnie around, either at home or in public. He didn’t let her go out often (he really only let her go to her college classes, or out shopping for food), though he was usually out late with his drinking buddies at the local pub. She followed her husband’s orders and stayed home when he told her to. Her letters to Isley had started up again because he was out more often.
However, Kenneth came home one day to find Bonnie writing a letter to Isley. He became angry with her, and then violent. He tore up her letters and hit her, telling her to cut all ties she had to the younger male. Bonnie was hurt by these orders, but she knew she couldn’t defy her husband. She didn’t want him to leave her; she wanted her marriage to work… So her letters stopped once more.
That winter, Kenneth left the country on a business trip, but he frequently called Bonnie on their house phone in order to make sure she didn’t leave the house without permission. She stayed home, caring for the house. During that winter, Bonnie received a visit from Isley. Overcome with emotion, she invited him in and told him everything there was to tell. He came over for a few days, and one evening, in a moment of weakness for Bonnie, she let her best friend take her virginity. She didn’t regret this, even though it was a moment of weakness. She loved Isley…
But the day after it happened, they agreed it would be best if they stayed friends. Isley was still in high school, after all, and she couldn’t expect him to give up his schooling to be with her. She wished him good luck at school and bid him a happy farewell, though she was crying inside because she would be left alone with a man who she questioned if he loved her… but she would stay by his side, as he was her husband.
Kenneth came back, and Bonnie’s life returned to normal… Until a month later, in January. Bonnie had been feeling rather ill and she finally went to the doctor to see what was wrong. The doctor told her that she was pregnant and everything changed for the nineteen-year-old. She honestly didn’t know what to do. She was afraid that if she told Kenneth, he would beat her again, but she knew she couldn’t hide it from her…
So she went home and told Kenneth that she was pregnant, and that they should file for divorce. He was angry with her, and indeed beat her, but she threatened to call the police on him and he finally calmed enough for them to call up Bonnie’s mother in order to file for the divorce. During this time, Bonnie called Isley (as she gained the phone number from Isley’s grandparents) and told him that she was pregnant and was divorcing Kenneth.
The divorce was finalized two months later and Bonnie went back to her college classes, majoring in music. She took many classes, as she had the dream to become a music teacher. She rarely missed class, but one month, she was forced to as she had given birth to a beautiful baby girl, whom she had named Cherish Crystal. She decided to give her baby the last names of both of her parents since she and Isley weren’t married, but Isley was as much Cherish’s father as she was the baby’s mother.
Bonnie began to student teach at the academy she went to school at in her high school days. Her training was easy and she enjoyed it very much. As her training came to an end, though, she had to begin looking for places that would take her in as a full time teacher. She stumbled upon the T’zenshin Institute, which had an orchestra teacher leave early in the year due to pregnancy. Bonnie called them and they offered her a job as an orchestra teacher and temporary choir teacher. She took the job and moved to T’zen Island with Cherish.
She moved to T’zen Island in late February and began her job in early March. She lives in the Island Apartments (the apartment complex specifically for the teachers of T’zenshin) with Cherish, and often brings her daughter to school with her.
