Faye had always been so dense and gullible with everyone she met, even before she came to the Institute she was like that. She didn't mind so much but she did wish some people didn't take complete advantage of her so much when they teased her or tried to a few kicks out of making her worry like shit.
As her phone started to ring, extremely loud, Faye nearly dropped her phone and jumped a little. She quickly pressed a side button and noticed Isley had called her to give her his number instead of reciting it out loud. She pressed a few buttons to save the number which she called Isley, with a cute smilely face next to it because he was such a big help to her. "Uh... if you want? You don't have to, I'm sure I could manage... but I wouldn't mind the help or the company," She said with a warm smile, "I just need to get them checked out," She said, reaching into her pocket to make sure she had brought her student card to get library books out on.

Isley almost flinched at hearing Faye's surprisingly loud ringer. He looked to his own phone, flipped it shut and slid it back into his pocket after checking to make sure that Faye's number was saved. "I'd like to," Isley replied and felt a strange, fluttering in his stomach when Faye smiled at him. He wondered if there was something wrong with the vegetarian lasagna he had for lunch. "I was on my way out anyway."
He couldn't help but to smile back at her pleasantly. "Alright, I'll take these to the check out desk, but I left my things at my table.." He paused and glanced to the side, having come up with a sudden idea. He looked back to Faye and gave her his best troubled expression, furrowing his eyebrows. "Oh dear, I believe I left my library card back at my dorm, but I need to check out a book right now to study for a test tomorrow... Oh, I have an idea." He bit his lip and looked down to her worriedly. "Faye, will you check out a book for me? I promise I'll return it."

One by one, Faye placed the books onto the counter for the librarian to check out for her, she glanced at the librarian who looked incredibly tired and in need of a nap of some kind. Her heart went out to the poor women but Isley's sweet voice distracted her for a moment as she averted her gaze back to him. She fell right for his lie and nodded, with a small smile, "I'm sure that would be okay, I have a lot of space," She assumed the way it worked for checking books out was how long you'd been at the institute or how trusted you could be to return them all.
"But, you have to promise me you'll bring it back on time," She said with a hint of playful anger in her voice, she knew she could trust Isley to bring it back, he hadn't given her a reason not to trust him except for the fact that he often messed with her mind. Which she didn't really like but hmm. She handed the librarian her card who swiped it and handed it back to her. She slipped it back into her back pocket and brought her phone out to check the time, it was getting a little late. She'd have to cram some quick study in...

Did he just say something about a library card? He was certain that T'zenshin didn't even hand out library cards. He had just mistaked it with his student ID, but he really didn't have his real library card from Canterbury, so he wasn't exactly lying. While he did have his student ID on him right now, he was just using it as a lame excuse to perhaps call or see Faye soon again. It only occured to him after Faye mentioned it, that he didn't have to see her again and could return the book to the library himself. He was having a... What was it called? A blond moment? It didn't seem as if Faye had noticed however.
"You have my word." Isley replied, smirking at Faye playfully. He didn't think he'd ever met someone so trusting before, aside from Cherish who at a time when he came visiting, jumped off the top of a staircase expecting him to catch her while he walking up, (he broke his eyeglasses and nearly had a heart attack trying to catch her in time). While Cherish's trusting nature scared the hell out of him, Faye, in an entirely different way, was refreshing and too bloody adorable for words. He couldn't believe she was accepting everything he said.
After going to get the things he had left at his table, and returning, Isley slid the book Faye checked out for him in his messenger bag. He smiled charmingly at the librarian, bid her a goodnight and then looked to Faye. "Shall we go then?"

Faye requested to the librarian that she have a paper bag of some kinda to carry all the books back to her dormitory. It was quite a long walk, stairs and elevators all that trouble for a stupid test. Faye mentally sighed but smiled to the librarian as she handed her one of those eco bag things she had seen before she came to the Institute. They were handy, but expensive if you bought heaps. She thanked the librarian and carefully placed all her books into the bag one by one before she slid the bag over her shoulder.
Which nearly took her shoulder off. She immediately took it off her shoulder and just hung it beside her, it was far too heavy. She swallowed, her fingers would hurt after this... "Okay," She said warmly, "Thank you for walking with me," She said with a light blush heating from her cheeks, she couldn't believe he could be so nice, with helping her with her books and walking her back to her dormitory. Even with his little mind games, he was really nice.

"Faye, let me," Isley said and took the bag of books from her. "It's no problem at all. I couldn't let a girl walk home in a neighborhood like this." He replied jokingly, even though sometimes he did wonder about T'zenshin's security.
He slung the bag of books over his shoulder and glanced down at her every now and then as he walked her back to her dorm. "Ms. Clement.. I was wondering, are you seeing anyone?" Isley was never the type to beat around the bush when he was curious about something anyway.

Faye gasped a little as he took the bag of books from her grasp, she felt the weight lift off of her. She wondered how he could carry it, it was so damned heavy. She smiled lightly, feeling her chest warm up a little, he was just so nice to her. "You're so--" She paused, realising his question. Seeing anyone? She thought for a moment, Juno didn't really count, even though they went skinny dipping in a random pond at the beginning of the school year.
A dark blush graced her cheeks and she glanced down at the ground, "N-no... I'm not.." She replied slowly. "..Why do you ask?" She could guess why he was asking but she could never be sure with some people. Sometimes, people just randomly asked for the hell of it.

Of course, Isley felt the weight of the books, and of course it was stressing his arm since he wasn't really in weight lifting, but like most men, he didn't let it show on his face and pretended it didn't weigh much to him at all. "I'm so..?" Isley asked, curious to what she was going to say, and then smiled. There was the strange, fluttering in his stomach again, but he tried to ignore it.
"I was wondering.." Isley intentionally repeated, realized he repeated himself and then blushed faintly. He stopped walking for a moment as he looked down to Faye. "Would you like to go out with me?" In all of his time at T'zenshin, Isley rarely asked anyone out, and mostly recieved invitations instead to which he had only gone out with a few in response.

"You're so.. nice," She said quickly as she was feeling a little nervous since she hadn't had someone ask her out or even want to ask her out for all the time she had been here or even lived, she was friends with everyone but a lot of the time people just didn't want to go any further than that. Then again, she never cared much for it. A fluttering feeling entered her chest and she felt another smile tug at her lips, but it wasn't one of her normal smiles that she gave to everyone, it had a bit of a different meaning to it that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
She swallowed, not sure what to say, Isley was a very nice guy and had helped her so much, he was gorgeous, which was a bonus, too. Oh what the hell, "Sure, why not," She said in response. She glanced down at the ground, hiding her blush and hoping that Isley wasn't having her on again. Now that would be embarrassing.

The beating in his chest increased rapidly when Faye smiled at him that way, and the fluttering in his stomach didn't dwindle, but doubled instead. On the outside though, Isley cleared his throat and kept up his regular calm, all smiles expression. "Very good then." He slowed down as they approached the girls' dorm. He knew it was against the rules for him or any other male student to enter the building so late at night.
He wondered if he have asked too soon, and should have waited to call her up and asked her out like he had thought about a moment before asking if she was seeing anyone. It's not like he could take it back now and he was confident and already had a good feeling that she wouldn't decline him before asking anyway. (Who's ever said 'no' to him anyway? Said Isley's ego.) "I'll call you tomorrow then, after school's over." Isley said.

Faye couldn't help the smile on her face, tonight had gone better than she had expected, she had found someone who seemed to like her for who she was and someone who could help her find books so she could study. He was just painfully nice to her and ncredibly gorgeous. She felt like she was dreaming for a few moments. They had gotten to the end of their time together because no male was allowed passed that particular point.
"Aww..." She said as a frown pierced her normally smiling face. She didn't want him to leave, she was enjoying herself. AND! She would now have to carry that heavy bag of books to her dormitory which was on like the fifth floor. Ugh. Oh well... "I wish you didn't h--" She stopped, "Yeah, I look forward to it, but I hope to see you round the school tomorrow, too," She said, forcing a warm smile, her frown was hard to take over since she was really sad that it was time for him to leave her.

"I wish I could show you up to your room, too.. These books are quite heavy." When Faye frowned, Isley felt a sudden urge to somehow indulge her again. Isley started considering how bad it would be if he walked Faye up to her dorm, too, and disregard the rules for once. It wouldn't be that bad, it wasn't like he was stealing or ditching class. Besides, all of the other students would probably be in their dorms by now. "You know what? It isn't that big of a deal. What floor do you stay on? I'll walk you up."
Perhaps he had already seen Faye around school and had just forgotten? He was sure that he didn't have a single class with her aside from PE, since he remembered every one of his classmates' faces. Even with PE, she probably had a different day then him, so it would make sense if they didn't frequently meet in school besides passing each other in the hall. It was a good thing they both had cell phones or they probably wouldn't have a lot of chances to talk.

Faye felt happiness fall over here as Isley decided to disregard the rules and walk her up to her dormitory, it would be nice yet sneaky at the same time. She was sure Isley could talk his way out of any trouble if they came across a duty teacher. She wasn't quite sure why they made such a huge fuss about keeping guys and girls separate, not like it didn't stop them. She smiled warmly, not having to force one anymore and it easily replaced her frown.
"Yay~" She said with her eyes closed, enthusiastically, "I live up on the fifth floor," She answered, she felt bad that Isley had to carry it all (well, he didn't, but he insisted on it) up there. "Are you sure you want to walk me up? You don't have to, you know," She continued, a spot of worry in her voice, she didn't want Isley to feel like he had to do things for her.

((Hey, since they're not in the library anymore, should we change settings? Or is this ok? I think Isley could be swayed to come in for a drink or a something, but then again, Faye does have a roommate.))
Isley smiled when Faye smiled, feeling lightened despite the heaviness of the books. Even if he was caught, he felt that it was worth it now. He held the door for Faye as they walked into the girls' dormitory and glanced about the first floor to see if there was still anyone around. Luckily, there weren't any students or even a duty teacher in the lobby or the front desk, so he went right ahead to the elevator.
"I live on the sixth, in the East Tower, that is." Isley replied and then looked down to Faye with an amused smile on his lips. "If I didn't want to, I wouldn't have. I certainly don't go this far for everyone." Isley was beginning to get a little confused by her questioning. First, she sounded as if she didn't want him to leave, and now she sounded like she did? He raised an eyebrow at her. "Unless, of course, you didn't want me to..?"

Relief fell over her as she noticed no one was in the lobby except for them. Even so, this made their voices bounce off the walls more and make them seem louder than they actually were. Oh well... Again, she presumed Isley could talk himself out of it. He could just say he was carrying her books for her, which he was, really, and if the teacher wanted to, they could follow to make sure that really was what was happening.
Faye blinked at his last comment, "Of course I want you to!" She placed a hand over her mouth since her voice was a little louder than usually, "Sorry, but yeah, I do want you to, I was just making sure you were sure about it," She smiled a nervous smile and reached out with her right hand to press the elevator button to bring it to ground floor.
