Isley tapped his pen against his worn physics notebook so hard that the cap went flying off and bouncing over the carpet floor towards a bookcase. He looked up and gave the pen cap a hard stare before looking back down at his notebook. Mere seconds later, he groans and slams his book shut. "Damn it!" He at once gets up from his chair, nearly knocking it over and starts birksly pacing back and forth.
He just couldn't concentrate! No matter how much he tried, his mind would always end up wandering! He usually had better luck at this. On a normal day, after meditating for a few, he'd just be able to calm down and focus for a while, but today was just somehow off! Nothing special in particular happened today, but he just couldn't think. Homework was just a lost cause now.
"Sod it, I'll finish it later." He muttered to himself and roughly ran his hands through his hair.
He made sure to take a table in the deserted section in the back of the library, so no one would see his frustration. Isley had also made it a habit to study at night rather then during the day when his mind was most active. Today, obviously wasn't the same case. What really annoyed him was that was reason was unknown! He hadn't even had a single cup of coffee or tea today.
Surely there's something in the library able to hold his interest tonight! With that hope in mind, Isley restlessly begins browsing the bookcase searching for something. If it was an actual book he was searching for, he wasn't sure yet.

[I'm going to guess this is open :] ]
The night had brought a dark, navy blue coloured blanket over the island, near the horizon, light mauves and blues danced around before darkening to the dark blue right above them. The library was open to students until a certain time of the night, it was for studying students who wanted absolute silence or for purely looking around for books. In the library at this time was Faye Clement. Someone who wasn't always around after school hours, she would usual retire back to her dormitory before heading out to Juno's place or talk with Haruka (On the rare occasion).
Science wasn't exactly her strongest subject so she decided to use her head and come to the library to read up on a few things for an upcoming chemistry test that she needed to know some things for. She hated not knowing what something was... So, dressed in a pair of casual dark blue jeans, some plain black low rise converse and a white and yellow striped hoodie. Slung over her shoulder was her black messenger bag which she had sewn an animated pineapple onto the side with a heart coming out as a speech bubble off to the side. Her bright blue eyes scanned the text books of the area she was in, not watching where she was going. Her sight took her higher up the book case and she kept looking off to her right which wasn't in the direction that she was going so of course...
She walked straight into someone. Only lightly and she stopped enough so no one would fall over. "A-ah! I'm sorry," She said with a nervous smile, she always walked into people...

[Yeah, sorry, I changed it now!]
Just as Isley was about to take a random book from the shelf someone bumps into him. He looks to the young woman and smiles politely. "No, it was my fault. I was paying attention. Are you alright?"
He turned back to the bookshelf and took a different book from the shelf this time. As an afterthought, he reaches into the pocket of his black slacks, pulls out his small, oval shaped and wire-rimmed eyeglasses and puts them on his face. He had taken his contacts out of his eyes before coming to the library that evening, so his natural eye color, a hazel nut brown could easily be seen beneath his glasses. He also wore a light blue polo t-shirt and loafers, while his silver pocket hung from the belt loop of his slacks.
"The Physics of Superheroes," Isley read the title of the bright yellow book he held. "That sounds like a page turner."

A relieved smile came to her lips as the man she had bumped into had apologised and hadn't given her some nasty remark for being so clumsy. She adjusted her jacket and glanced up at him, her breath stolen by how gorgeous he looked. A light blush gently graced her cheeks, "Y-yes, I'm alright..." She stuttered out, a surprised and concerned look on her face appeared as she realised she didn't return the question. "A..are you..? I always walk into people... I'm so clumsy..." She rambled.
Faye watched him as he pulled out a bright, yellow book from the library shelf. Oooh, she loved yellow! But she stopped herself from gawking at the amazing colour and tried to pull herself together. "I definitely must be looking in the wrong section if superhero physics is around here..." She wanted something to help her with her chemistry test coming up not a book on how superheroes work. Trust her to not know what she was doing...

Isley flipped through the pages of the superhero book before sliding it back onto its place on the shelf. He looked back down to the young woman with a pleasant smile on his face, inwardly feeling a bit more willing to talk to her, (despite his usual aversion for his peers), once seeing her surprisingly cute babyface and big blue eyes. "Yes, I'm fine. It isn't a bad thing, clumsiness, I mean. I think it's cute for the right people."
He wasn't lying either, he really did think it was cute. Especially when it came to Cherish and how painfully funny and cute it is when he occassionally catches her running into things, falling on her face and then crying.
"What are you looking for? Perhaps I can help. Oh, I almost forgot to introduce myself, I'm Isley Black, twelfth year." Isley held his hand out to take hers for a proper greeting.

An even darker blush graced her cheeks, her eyes laced with surprise as the older man implied that she was cute. "A-ah, that's good, I swear I'm going to end up hurting someone by bumping into them some time..." She continued, the last part said more so to herself than Isley. Her eyes scanned the titles of books, only seeing ones that didn't concern her in any way. Surely it said science on the aisle sign... right? Ugh, she didn't know.
"Oh um, I'm Faye Clement, a tenth year," She introduced herself, a bit more confidence and comfort leaking into her voice, she was just so entranced in how attractive Isley was that he caught her off guard with how kind he was. "I'm looking for something on chemistry, I have a test coming up and I have no clue what I'm doing..." As usual, she felt embarrassed and it showed in her tone of voice.

Isley smiles to himself once noticing the young woman's darkening cheeks. He gives the bookshelf a quick once-over before glancing back to her. He crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow at her in attempt at looking rueful, (but Isley was never good at that particular emotion anyway). "Chemistry, huh? Well, Faye, I believe you're too late! The librarian got rid of all of the chemistry books a week ago to make room for a full comic section, can you believe that?" He says with a sigh and shrug. For some reason, he just had a sudden urge to tease her a little just to see how she'd react.
Honestly, Isley did wish that the librarian would throw out a section of books just to expand the comic section. Normally, he would have to go all the way to the mall just to read new volumes of his favorite comics. What a pain!
He waits for the younger woman's reaction before speaking again. "I'm kidding, the chemistry aisle is actually right around here." He walks out of the aisle, expecting her to follow and leads her into a another two aisle's down. He scans the bookshelves and then looks to her with a nod and a smile. "It's not labeled, so of course anyone would get lost. It's nothing to be embarrassed about."

Being as gullible as she was, Faye's bright blue eyes widened in disbelief but they were mostly laced with worry and panic. What if she did clear them all out? What if she could never find another chemistry book? Surely Juno would have some... Right? Oh no! What if she didn't pass the test!? "Wh-what?" She spluttered out, trying her best to calm herself down.
Confusion fell over her as Isley started speaking again, she hadn't thrown them all out? She felt even more embarrassed than she did before considering how she acted and also that she didn't see that Isley was just joking. "A-ah, I.. I knew that," She lied, trying to cover up her actions prior to this moment. "Thank you, though," She said with a light smile, trying to forget all the other feelings she had that were rushing over her. She wished never made such a fool of herself all the time. "Can I ask, what you're doing in here?" He knew why she was in here, she felt curious as to what he might be up to.

"Right, of course," Isley turned away, readily catching on that the younger girl was lying. He secretly laughed to himself after seeing the young woman's reaction. He had a feeling that she would easily decieved. Her type always amused him to no end. But should he continue to trick her? No, he couldn't be so cruel. They only just met anyway.
"You don't have to thank me, it was a pleasure enough by meeting you." He said, offering her a playful smile this time. Swayed by his wavering attention span, Isley pulled a random book from the bookcase and began to flip through it curiously. He blinked at her question, momentarily stumped himself. He looked at his watch. What was he doing in here so late? He was missing his favorite show! Wait, it comes on tomorrow night, not now. He sighed in relief. But what was he doing here? Oh right! He looked back to Faye and cleared his throat in attempt to cover up his short pause and embarrassment. Damn his ADD. "I find it easier to concentrate on my homework here than in my dorm room.. I have a noisy roommate." He lied.

Faye felt a weird feeling boil up inside her by the mere sight of that playful smile of his, she giggled lightly, barely audible as she wanted it to stay within her head. She smiled to him and waited for him to answer her question. She pulled a book from the shelf, seeing the label on it and read the contents page, it was a non-fiction book so of course it had a contents page.
Her eyes averted from the white pages of the book, to Isley again who had answered her question. He seemed rather distracted by something, well actually no, he seemed distracted by everything. "Well, that's understandable..." She said, her blue eyes falling back down on the book, it seemed to have everything she needed to study for. Hopefully it would prove helpful to her. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to get a few more in case some didn't have what she wanted. She picked out a few more from the shelf and balanced them on her arms, holding them against her chest. "Thank you for helping me find these books, I don't know how long I'd be looking at the moment by myself," She said with a light nervous laugh.

"You're welcome.." Isley replied softly. He absentmindedly stared at Faye a few moments longer before smiling again. "Well then.. If you ever need anymore help, feel free to seek me out." He turned away and walked back to the table where he'd left his books while attempting to block out the sudden thoughts buzzing through his mind.
While he was looking at Faye a moment ago, Bonnie's face suddenly flashed through his mind. It was strange, because they looked nothing alike! Well... Maybe they're features were a little similiar, but not by much. He certainly didn't notice it until he really looked at her for a moment. But why had he thought of Bonnie? For the last year or so, he was sure his feelings for Bonnie was a thing of the past. He had moved on since then, so he couldn't regress since he'd just ran into another girl who looked slightly like her. Bonnie had already moved on, so he'd move on twice as fast.
Isley began gathering up his books and sliding them into his black, leather messenger bag at the table, but then he saw that he still had a book from the chemistry aisle in hand. He sighed to himself, slung his bag over his shoulder and walked back over to the chemistry aisle to return the book.

She noticed the longer stare and felt her cheeks heat up and her heart sped up a little too. Only Juno had made her feel like that at any given time in her life. But, this guy was so gorgeous~! She turned away for a moment to look at the other books, btu she was only trying to hide her blush. "..Where would I be able to find you, if I did need your help... again?" She asked, turning her head slightly to look at the older man. She was having a bit of trouble trying to hold all of the books, her struggle was getting very noticeable but she didn't want to trouble Isley any more than she had already.

When Faye turned away from him, Isley realized he had been staring, had probably been caught, too, and made the young woman self-concious. He curiously tilted his head to the side in attempt to see more of her face, but then righted himself when she looked back to him. He blinked at her question. "Where to find me..?" He repeated and looked down to the stack of books she was struggling to hold onto. "Let me help you with those. You should be more careful." He offered, and leaned down to take the majority of books away from her without waiting for a reply.
Normally, when he told someone 'feel free to seek him out,' a good portion of the time, that was the end of it. Other times, which all just happened to be with female students, they really did seek and help wasn't all that they wanted. What surprised him most was that people actually took him seriously when he said that and another was that nobody had asked him where to find him before and had just tracked him down. Faye gave him a different feeling, however. She actually seemed to need his help and not just his in particular. With that in mind, Isley didn't think he was going to regret what he was going to suggest next.
"By the end of the week, actually, you won't find me at T'zenshin anymore. I'm moving to Africa and joining the Peace Corps, you see." He lied with a straight face this time. He waited to see Faye's reaction and then laughed lightly. "Of course, I was lying. Do you have a cell phone?" He asked and reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a baby blue cellphone whilst balancing her books on his other arm.

Faye blinked, did she say something wrong? He seemed rather surprised that she had asked what she had, confusion fell over her and so did surprise as he took the books she was holding, her arms still kept in the same position they were when she was holding the books for a few more seconds before they fell to her sides. Well, at least that was a weight lifted from her. He was so helpful and kind~ She felt a smile tug at her lips as she thought about how he had helped her.
Her smile disappeared and her face lost a little bit of colour as she fell right into his lie and believed him when he said he was moving to Africa. She swallowed, "R-really?" She stammered out. Awuh, she was hoping she could see him again, he was a really big help to her.
Then he revealed he was just having her on again. Normally, people would take this to heart but she laughed a bit, shrugging it off, she was so gullible but she was also very light hearted when it came to jokes or insults that people threw at her. "Uh.. Of course I do~ here it is," She recited her phone number to him as she remembered it. Out of sheer impulse she too pulled her cell phone from her pocket, it was yellow. A pale yellow, actually, it was nice. It wasn't the original colour of the phone, but a face plate. She liked yellow. A lot.

Isley smiled a little more as he watched Faye's reactions play over her face. She's so funny and cute, but at the same time he felt a troubling feeling about her. Was she like this with everyone? Most definitely, she's the type to be easily taken advantage of. Honestly, he thought that he was always the type to take advantage of her type, but Faye worried him. Isley wasn't sure what to think of that either because usually he only worried about himself when it came to school.
He entered her number into the address book on his cell phone as she recited it to him, called the number and waited for her phone to ring. This way, she'd have his number entered into her phone without him saying it out loud. He curiously looked down to her pale yellow cell phone and then to her yellow striped hoodie. Maybe she liked the color yellow. He liked various shades of blue himself, but today his favorite color was the baby blue color of his cellphone, which would have matched his eye contacts if he was wearing them right now. "You can call me your personal help line now." He smiled at her and then looked down to the books in his arms. "Are you finished here? I could help you carry these to your door."
