Appearance:
At first glance, Adrian can be immediately seen as the ‘outsider’ type. Standing up straight he reaches a height of 5’10” but because he hangs his head and slouches, it decreases his height a tad. His body is toned from where he first attended school, having to impress all those girls. His skin tone has taken on a pale complexion from hiding all the time, so he lost his lightly tanned skin, although here and there on his arms and legs are slight hints of the prior skin tone. His face is shaped nicely, however his chin doesn’t come to a complete point and rounds off a little. His nose straight and a little long and he has a few freckles dotted on his nose and just below his eyes, not too many. His fingers are longish and delicate, fit for a pianist or violinist. His hair is a dark black colour that has a grey highlight to it when he’s in the sunlight, his hair conveniently covers his ears, falling to just pass the beginning of his neck and his bangs hang just over his fiery, orange coloured eyes. It’s the most attracting feature about him so he often hangs his head down to keep from people looking at him in awe or in confusion for having such a colour.
Clothing Style:
Sticking to dark colours, Adrian doesn’t have much of a preferred clothing style as he’ll wear whatever he feels most comfortable in. When he isn’t wearing the school uniform, an example of a normal outfit for him would be a pair of black or blue jeans that are a little baggy from mid thigh down, a belt to hold it up. He likes belts so his choice of belt changes from time to time. With this would be a pair of black and green checkered Vans. For a t-shirt he’ll opt for a dark coloured t-shirt, preferably dark blue, black or green, with band names and pictures on them or even a slogan in white text, or just a pattern in different colours. To keep warm he’ll just throw on a jacket that zips up. He is never seen without a silver coloured ring that he wears on his right index finger, it has a fire type pattern engraved into the metal. On his wrists he usually wears a digital watch with maybe a wrist band or a bracelet of some kind.

PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality:
A lot of the time, Adrian is described as one of those outsider people. He doesn’t talk much and generally keeps to himself, and let’s other people come to him instead of getting up and doing it himself. However, he is a genuinely nice person to the people who do come up to him but since he hangs around himself all the time, he is seen as a loner and not a lot of people do. Although he can be nice, he can also come off as quite dry and sarcastic to people who come up to him but they’re just there to tease him about how lonely he looks and all of that crap. When they do, he sometimes uncontrollably heats up random objects that the person could be holding within his mind out of the frustration.
There is a side to Adrian that he keeps to himself the most. It’s about his drug abuse. He has a slight addiction to sleeping pills as they numb his mind and he can sleep with ease and not have nightmares or images of his past pop in his mind if he didn’t take them. Plus, they help him ignore everything around him; he feels no pain or suffering. He usually carries a small bottle of them around with him in his school bag that he keeps safe in a small compartment in his bag.
If someone even implies an insult towards him he can get rather argumentative about it, actually, in general he can be argumentative. He takes things out on other people and doesn’t think about apologizing (he has a problem with those words). With this, he does stick up for what his opinions and beliefs are if it’s called for, so it helps with debating against others but he’ll hardly ever get up and do it due to his fear of public speaking. He’s a typical gamer in terms of MMORPG’s and video games, generally staying up late on the weekends to play the games. Though he has a roommate, he sticks to his own room and only comes out for necessary things like food, showering and going to the bathroom.
Even with his attitude to most people, he wants acceptance of the world and to not be shunned like he was back at home. He is also very creative and thinks outside the square for most things, especially in his MMO’s.

BACKGROUND
History:
Adrian Ozera was born in Alta, Norway to Elias and Isabella Ozera. At first, they remained in their comfortable home in Alta but then they moved to America, where more of his relatives and other people like him were. Adrian was born into a society of magical beings, people who were bound to all of the Earth’s elements (water, fire, air and earth) but they all specialized in one in particular. They had moved to Montana, deep within the forests the society was built and protected from the other human beings to keep them from finding out about them. Adrian was eventually found out that he specialized in fire. Little did his parents know that Adrian specialized in another element as well, but that was to be kept secret and dwell inside him until it needed to save him.
For the first few years of his life, Adrian stayed at home, sometimes going outside to meet with the other parents’ kids to play with them until it was time he started school. They had set up a special school for them all to attend which had three different sections in it. One for Elementary students, one for Middle school students, and a more sophisticated one for those entering Secondary schooling. The buildings varied depending on what year levels were there but they were more or less the same unless one section called for an extra facility for their students. Adrian was quite popular with his peers for the first few years of schooling, until they found out about his other element.
It was his first year of middle school, the beginning of the years that they would be taught about their elements that they specialized in and learn more about how to control them, why they specialized in that element and not others, things like that. During one of the theory classes that turned into a bit of a practical since they were all asked to demonstrate some of it, Adrian called upon the wrong element. His first year of middle school was the year his new element was meant to kick in because his body would adapt to it more and be able to use it. Instead of fire coming to his finger as he clicked them, darkness took over the room and no one could see a thing. It wasn’t like turning the lights out, it was like being out in the night, with no moon to guide you, no trees, just a jet black blanket of darkness tossed over the room of students.
That was the first of many incidents that caused Adrian’s social life to go down hill.
Everyone stared at him as the darkness tore away from it and sucked itself back up inside him, waiting for it to be called upon again. He stood in shock, seeing everyone’s expressions then they all turned into the look people get when people aren’t normal and shouldn’t be around them because their gift is dangerous and abnormal. After the bell had signaled they could go home, Adrian assumed it would be alright in the morning but it wasn’t, everyone continued to stare, word had gotten out and people told their parents who had told them weird and different stories about how bad and twisted it was. That he was a ‘bad egg’. His popularity with his friends declined rapidly and soon no one wanted to sit with him, no one wanted to even be around him so he began to be alone, to tackle life by himself.
As he grew older, on his last year of being in the middle school section, he started to take the sleeping pills his mother took to help her sleep at night as she suffered from depression sometimes. He took them to help himself sleep but eventually fell in love with the feeling of numbness they gave him, how he could do whatever he wanted without seeing images in his mind or be reminded of what happened prior that day. So, he continued to steal them and take them at night or whenever something happened at school. Since he was taking these, his grades declined and he eventually started to fail almost every class he was in except for a few that he felt passionate about even though he despised every person in the community.
Not long after he entered his second year in high school, his parents decided they wanted him to suffer too. The two of them went off the deep end from stress he knew nothing about until now. He knew no details, he had to find out for himself that his parents had murdered three people with their specialized elements and had gone insane. Adrian was mortified, he had no idea his parents were suffering like that. They had neglected to tell him anything. He got the butt end of it all at school and around the community as well, he was now completely ignored and glared at every time he went somewhere. Soon, Adrian felt he could no longer take anymore of the shit he was being put through, he did nothing wrong, he deserved none of it and that they all just needed to grow up. He also still couldn’t understand where his parents had gone wrong, they showed no signs of stress or anything that had happened, maybe it was because he was in his room so often that he just didn’t realize…
But no one would listen to him, he would forever be alone to tackle his own issues and problems that occurred. So, he abandoned his parents house after having to live there for awhile by himself since his parents were thrown in a mental ward to be under surveillance and taking the remaining money he found in there, and escaped into the real human world to an airport. He had no idea where he was going until he found a brochure. One for a place called the T’zenshin Institute for gifted people. Gifted seemed to vary, so he obviously came under that category. There were no actual houses for students, just dormitories… it was small… isolated… completely away from his so called ‘race’, so he took up the opportunity to go there and start a new life, to meet people who knew nothing about him. He arrived hours later on the island, ready to start.
However, during his tenth grade year (the year he started in), he had trouble adjusting to all the people around him who knew nothing, so he remained keeping to himself and still does. His attitude hasn’t changed one bit. He is entering his second to last year at the Institute and hopes it will be better than the last.
Secrets:
He keeps his past to himself because he doesn’t want people to judge him. He also keeps his sleeping pill abuse to himself as well; he doesn’t want anyone knowing anything.
Gift:
His gift has bound him to the Earth’s elements. He specializes in elements that make him seem evil and dark. He specializes in fire and darkness orientated elements. Granted this he is able to summon fire at his own will, heat things up with his mind. This is his strongest element, he isn’t so good with the darkness side. With his darkness he is only able to bring forth shadows to cast a blanket of darkness over an area of fifty metres. So far, that’s all he can do.
