Alice Tudor was new to the Institute, and she used this excuse to enter the clock tower even though it was technically off limits. She was wearing the school uniform, having her eyes closed halfway as she sat up near the top of the tower near where the face and hands were. She liked staring down at the people from that high up, watching them as they went about their lives.
It was amusing. For now. In her hand she was holding a small black box that had the engraving of a red rose on it with a fancy design around the rose. It was her box of blood tablets, and she had not had her feeding yet today... She had to get used to these tablets. On school grounds it was against the rules to attack another student. It was against the rules to kill another student. She would try her best to abide by these rules, but if.. she ended up breaking them... no one needed to know that...

On her way back from visiting her best friend Juno, Faye Clement was walking passed where the clock tower resided. As she wandered on passed, she stared up at it, wondering what kind of mystic secrets were inside that made it so off-limits to students.
Couldn't hurt to take a peek, right?
The tenth year gingerly stepped over the border line, she was now breaking the rules. No biggie. She adjusted her uniform skirt to sit nicely around her waist and not be off to the side, that made the pleats look a little off and wasn't a very good image. Brushing a few dark purple locks out of her eyes, Faye made her way further into the clock tower's area, feeling kind of spooked out.
She really wanted to know what was so secret and dangerous about this place... However something caught her eye, another student was in here! She felt a little excitement yet she also felt extremely cautious. What if she had permission and knew that Faye didn't? Faye gulped a bit... and tried to get further in without grabbing the girl's attention as well.

Hearing the footsteps, however gentle they were, Alice slowly glanced over her shoulder down the clock tower towards the girl near the bottom. She slowly stood up from where she was, placing her tablet box within her pocket in her skirt before turning and giving her full attention to the girl at the bottom. Hm.. she was rather cute.
"The clock tower is off limits to students, is it not?" Alice smirked slightly, jumping down from the edge of the face of the clock tower and landing lightly on the bottom, having crouched down slightly when she did. When she landed, a small puff of dust went out from around her, and it had been a pretty big jump from the top to the bottom. It was safe for her to do a jump like that, though. She stood up from the ground, fixing her skirt a bit and dusting it off from the dust as she looked back to Faye. Her eyes were pretty, too..

Dammit, she should of gone a different way, she must of been walking rather loudly... Or this girl just had supersonic hearing, she was sure she was tip-toeing extremely quietly. She watched the girl descend from the level she was on, amazed by the way she landed, so gracefully and without ground shock at all. The puff of dust radiating from the ground was just an added effect.
"S-something like that... What are you doing here?" She questioned, looking the girl up and down, slowly, not to seem judgemental. She had lovely long hair that looked like silk... but there was something in her eyes, some kind of hatred? She wasn't sure. Either way, Faye was feeling a little uneasy.

Alice had smiled slightly, closing her eyes and tilting her head to the side. She was here because she felt like she wanted to watch other students and see what it was like... to go to school. She never had that chance until now, but then again, that was why she was here to learn. "I'm a new student... so...I thought I'd take advantage of the... 'I'm sorry, I didn't know..' while being a new student.. I won't tell anyone you were here."
Alice opened her eyes once more, looking Faye up and down for a moment before holding her hand out to shake. This was... the correct thing to do. So she hoped. "My name is Alice Tudor. It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. I do apologize if I startled you, jumping down like that."

Ah, sneaky. Very sneaky indeed. Faye liked that about some people but still, it scared the crap out of her for a moment, since the girl came out of nowhere when she was trying to be quiet and not be seen. "Hmm... sounds reasonable.. I'm here... to well, see what's so off-limits about this place, you found anything?" She asked, curiously, her mind wondering over many possibilities. What if the school kept some giant animal here or something...?
Faye nodded, accepting her apology, "It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Alice, my name is Faye Clement," She answered, the uneasiness going down a bit but still lingered around.

Faye Clement.. that was a very fitting name for this young lady. She placed both her hands behind her back, slowly looking over her shoulder as Faye spoke of the clock tower. Something to make it off limits? The only thing that she cold think of at the moment was with how old the tower was... students might end up falling or something breaking and hurting a student. She did not see anything else that might be dangerous.
"Well, to tell you the truth, I haven't seen anything that might make it off limits. The only thing I can think of is that... the tower is old and might harm students. " Yes, that seemed to be the only thing. She turned her attention back to Faye, laughing slightly and rubbing behind her head. "I apologize. I'm not very good at conversation, either. To tell you the truth, I haven't... really been around people much."

Perfect, that was an excellent explanation but it was the most boring and buzz killing explanation she had ever heard. She wasted her time, but it wasn't completely wasted. She was making a new friend here at the moment, wasn't she? Well... she was, kind of, they had only just met. She only knew that her name was Alice. It seemed fitting for her and Faye liked that name. It was pretty yet simple. "Probably..." She murmured, sounding disappointed.
"Ah, that's okay... But if you don't mind me asking, why haven't you been around people much?" She wouldn't of asked if she was so intrigued and full of curiosity. She felt kind of rude but she ended up asking anyway. Faye brushed a few of her purple locks away from her eyes and glanced around her quickly. Ew, dust and mould was everywhere... No wonder it was dangerous. Tattered wood and broken nails sticking out, ready to grab onto any loose clothing.
Why they hadn't fixed this up was her new question.

Did she really want to know why she hadn't been around people? It was somewhat of a lie. She had been around numerous humans. However, she never spoke to them. She just drank their blood and killed them. That could be why she was not every good at being social or... being "human". She giggled slightly at the thought, closing her eyes. "Its.. not a very good story to tell... "
She brushed some of her lavender hair over her shoulder, closing her eyes halfway. She would have to lie for now. She didn't want to scare anyone anymore, nor did she want to kill. She wanted to stop that. A somewhat sad smile crept onto her face as she began to explain. "My.. parents were killed... when I was a child... and I stayed away from society for quite a while... I did not want to associate with people who... had killed my parents... But never mind that. Its not important now. "

"Oh my... I'm so sorry about your parents..." The explanation was chilling and very tragic. Faye's heart went out to Alice and she wanted to try and comfort her but it probably wouldn't work since she seemed adamant that it didn't matter and wasn't important now. It definitely was if it happened so early in her childhood! "Who... who looked after you?" Alice seemed like an open kind of girl so Faye felt more at ease a bout asking questions.
But she felt the need to add something. "I'm sorry, that's the last question I'll ask... I'm so rude, sorry..."

Alice had shook her head a bit, placing her hands behind her back and holding her wrist behind her back. "Really, it's fine. YOu can ask as many questions as you'd like... I .. just cannot guarantee to answer all of them." The girl seemed a bit more open to asking questions now, and Alice did not particularly mind. It wasn't like she would guess that she was a vampire..
"Oh, I took care of myself. I was.. at least old enough to take care of myself when they were gone.Judging on.. your curiosity about the tower though.. It seems like you're someone who likes to explore and seek out new things... I apologize if I'm being rude and intruding."

A sign of relief ran over Faye as Alice dismissed her feelings of being rude and intruding on the girl's privacy. She had the habit of asking too many questions out of sheer curiosity. "Aah, that's good.."
Alice's analysis of Faye kind of crept her out a little bit, she was very observant and also very open, obviously willing to speak her mind whenever she pleased. Interesting yet kind of... eh.. she didn't know the word but she was sure it would annoy some people. "You aren't... but you're very open" She said, stating a fact about her, too.

Alice's smile slowly went away, her looking at the ground with a sympathetic look upon her face. She was being too open, hm? That must be a bad thing.. in the human society. She slowly looked up to Faye, slowly taking a step forward. "I'm sorry. Is being open bad..? I suppose I do... tend to speak whatever I feel or say."
She shook her head slightly, walking over towards the stairs up to the face of the clock tower, taking a step onto the first step before looking back at Faye. "Do you care to go to the top? It's a rather interesting site if you care to see it. I promise that I won't bite." The girl closed her eyes, smiling, and smiling in a way to not show her fangs to the girl. Just a normal smile, tilting her head to the side a bit. She needed to perhaps befriend someone at this school.. that way she.. wouldn't be as lonely. Loneliness would only result in losing her sanity...

"No, no, no, it isn't bad at all, just I haven't met anyone as open as you are, a lot of people at this school are so quiet and keep to themselves, you see.." She commented, feeling a little bad that she might have offended Alice in some way but hopefully that would clear things up.
When Alice pointed the top and asked if she would like to go, Faye tilted her head back, her blue eyes taking a glimpse of what might be up there. It was pretty high up and creepy looking but what the heck. She was here now, curious and was with someone else so if something happened, Alice could help out.
That's if she wanted to...
"Sure," She agreed, with a beaming smile. "Lead the way~" She continued, standing closer to Alice now and awaited for her to lead her up to the top.

Alice smiled, closing her eyes and nodding to Faye as she began to lead the way to the top of the tower. So she was more open than the other students at the school, was she? She hadn't heard that before. Usually the humans she met were outgoing, rude, and wanting to hurt her. Then again, those humans were usually hunters who were trying to kill her or her kind.
The stairs had creaked ever so slightly as they went up the stairs, Alice walking over to the stained glass of the face to the clock tower. It was see through for them, and if people looked closely from the outside, they could see the small silhouettes of two people on the inside of the tower. It was so high up and hard to see through the glass that it was easy for students to hide within the clock tower.
"I always enjoy this view. It's so nice... Being able to watch everyone go by. They can't even really see us from up here either. U-um so.. Faye..?" Alice paused in her sentence, slowly turning to Faye. She was not sure what to say in the conversation, or what to ask, but... she was going to try and .. progress the conversation. At least try and make one! "What.. sort of things do you like..? "
