It's a Date! {Dinner; Maven}

[Faye]

Sven was feeling a little jealous at the moment but in a weird way, but Matthew was very attractive, young and what he was doing with that ice cube... Oh.. god. He sat up straighter and adjusted his jacket, his red eyes locking with Matthew's fake brown ones. He felt a little saddened that he couldn't see his true eye colour at the time but he would have to put up with it for now. He pushed the straw around his glass of juice as he thought of a way to explain it.

"It's not what you're doing it's how you're doing it, I'm not sure why but it's incredibly sexy..." He said, a flirtatious, seductive yet entranced tone of voice leaked out of the words he spoke.

[Nicolette]

Matt's heart rate sped up a little and a pink blush came to his cheeks when he heard the tone that his boyfriend was speaking in. His breath caught in his throat for a moment and he had forgotten how to breathe for a moment before he swallowed hard. He placed his spoon on his napkin and let his eyes meet Sven's again as he came up with something to say in return.

"Maybe if you're good tonight, ice won't be the only thing I'll be licking."

It could be taken in a thousand different ways, and that's exactly how Matt had predicted it to be. In reality, he pretty much meant that he would give Sven an amazing make out session, but he wanted to see how red he could make his boyfriend turn by that one simple comment.

[Faye]

Sven smiled, he must have hit something with the tone of voice he just used. It always made him feel warm and weird inside when they had conversations like these... They always seemed to reference to something se-- A reddish colour came to Sven's cheeks at Matthew's comeback. That was obviously not intended to sound the way it did but by the look on Matthew's face, it's exactly what he wanted Sven to think.

He calmed himself down as much as he could, not just his heart and mind but other places of him as well. He tried to act as calm and collected as he could, like he usually did. "A-and what might you be licking later, hmm~?" He didn't want to go into details of anything like that, it was not the time for him to get excited.

[Nicolette]

Matt simply smirked and winked at Sven just as Kimi came by with a tray that held three plates. She took Matt's two plates off and set it down in front of him before taking Sven's plate and placing it in front of him.

"Sorry it took so long, but I wanted to bring them together so you could both eat." She smiled and looked between the two. She looked at their cups and noted that neither needed refills, so she smiled. "Alright, just let me know if you need anything~"

And with that, she left the two alone. Matt took a french fry and started to munch on it.

[Faye]

Sven pouted lightly and discreetly as the waitress interrupted their conversation of sexual references but he was also part glad about it, he had a distraction. Food. Spicy food. Even though he could handle it and loved it to pieces, it still felt hot in his mouth and would keep him occupied from anything else Matthew had to say. He wondered if Matthew felt like that sometimes...

He shook his head and smiled to the waitress, thanking her for the consideration she had for them. He picked up his fork and scooped up the rice and a piece of chicken onto it and placed it in his mouth, chewing it softly, feeling the spiciness explode in his mouth, oh how he loved the taste~

"Their foods not too bad, is it?" He said, striking up conversation on a different subject.

[Nicolette]

Matt finished off his french fry and lifted the slice of pizza, blowing on it a little before taking a bite. He chewed it, savoring the taste, and let out a soft noise that sounded like a small moan. It was so delicious; possibly the best pizza he'd ever tasted.

"Ah, we definitely need to come here more often." Matt said before he took a few more bites of pizza. He set the slice down and swallowed what he had in his mouth. Oh how he had missed this kind of food. He took a few more french fries and bit into them. He paced himself rather nicely with his food.

[Faye]

Ah, judging by the small pleasure noise Matthew made, Sven assumed that he enjoyed the food. Which he was quite pleased about, there was no use in taking Matthew somewhere to make him feel better if he didn't like the food. He took a few more mouth fulls of the meal into his mouth, it just tasted so good, he had missed butter chicken so much, he would have to make it for them one night. Of course he'd lay off the spice if Matthew didn't like spicy food as much as he did.

He closed his eyes as he smiled, taking another mouthful before answering, "Yeah we will, the prices are low as well..." About a quarter of his meal had gone now, it just tasted so good that he didn't realise he was eating it so fast. His heart did a flip as he felt embarrassed about it and paced himself like Matthew was. "Do you feel better at all?" He asked, wondering whether or not he should feel guilty about asking such a question...

[Nicolette]

Matt continued eating his food, focusing more on it than the conversation going on, though he did hear the last question that was asked. He was down to the crust of his pizza, so he set it down and took a napkin to wipe his mouth before he thought for a moment. Was he really feeling better...? He really wasn't sure. So he gave a simple shrug.

"I'm really just trying to use this time to forget all the shit that's going on." He shrugged again. "But I do enjoy getting to spend this time with you." He offered a small smile in Sven's direction.

Looking at the man across from him, Matt could feel his heart flutter a little. It was odd how there was such a ressemblance between Sven and Nickolaus... But in the past almost two months that Matt had known Sven, he felt like he was closer to Sven than he had been with Nickolaus... At least Sven paid attention to him, whereas Nickolaus hadn't given him a single call or letter in the past almost two years.

Could it be... That Matt could possibly love Sven? There was a good chance... It could be a blooming love, but there was definitely a stronger emotion that the younger of the two felt. True, they had only been together as a couple for only about a week, but Matt could tell that there was a strong emotion in his heart...

He turned down to his food, finding himself suddenly not as hungry as he was before. He had eaten enough, though, that it wouldn't seem too suspicious. Instead, he turned his attention to his ice tea, slowly drinking it as he waited for Sven to finish.

[Faye]

Sven relaxed a little, his shoulder's not seeming to tense now that Matthew had answered his question. He didn't seem upset or anything by what he had asked so he didn't feel completely guilty about asking. "That's good~" He said with a small smile as he turned back to his food, he had nearly finished. He reached for his glass and finished the nice, cool liquid off, the pulp of the fruit sticking to the roof of his mouth.

As he was about to take another bite of his meal, he noticed Matthew had stopped eating. "Are you alright? Do you want to go...?" He finished the last bit of his meal and pushed his plate forward slightly. Matthew looked kinda ready to go by his actions and sudden stop of eating.

[Nicolette]

Matt looked up from his ice tea, his eyes widening a little at how well Sven had read him. How was this man able to see so well into Matt...? Could he even see the most deepest messages that Matt's mind gave out...? Sven couldn't possibly know Matt wasn't actually a male... He couldn't know that he was actually the ex-lead singer of Radiance... He just couldn't know these things...

"A-ah, we can stay or we can go... I'm just not very hungry. It was good food, but I'm feeling pretty full..." He took another long sip of his ice tea.

He didn't know what he was going to do. This realization was stuck on his mind... Was it possible to love in such a short amount of time? Well, sure... It wasn't like Matt was ready to totally spend the rest of his life with Sven, but he still knew that his feelings for Sven went beyond just like. The early stages of love were clear to Matt; he had gone through these same symptoms with Nickolaus.

However, when he tried to think of Nickolaus, his image became fuzzy and replaced by an image of Sven. Why couldn't he remember...? What was happening...?

[Faye]

Sven waved the waitress over to their table, requesting their bill so he could pay for their meal and drinks. "Well, how about we leave and I'll take you somewhere a little more quieter and special, hmm?" He said with a small smile and he flashed him a quick wink. After they leave, Sven would take him to the park for a nice evening stroll so they could talk and settle their meals. Hopefully it would make Matthew feel a little bit better than he was right then, plus, he was sure fireflies were due to come out soon.

[Nicolette]

Kimi came over with the check and received Sven's money. She smiled at the two boys and told them to enjoy their meeting as she went back to her cash register to put the money inside.

Matt stood from his seat and slipped his hands into his pockets. One hand wrapped around the cigarette box in his pocket and he waited for Sven before the two departed outside.

Sven pulled out the required amount of money to cover the meal from his wallet, it wasn't very much compared to what he was thinking, too. He smiled and thanked the waitress for her great hospitality skills and lead Matthew out of the restaurant. He pulled his phone from his pocket to look at the time, it wasn't that late but late enough for it to be scarce to see lots of people wandering around the streets. "Do you like fireflies?" Sven asked in a gentle, sweet tone of voice, taking his hand in his own since they were alone now, hardly anyone was in sight and they were out into the shadows so they restaurant people wouldn't be able to see them.

[Nicolette]

Once outside, Matt felt his boyfriend take his hand. He gave a weak smile and pulled his other hand out of his pocket, holding a cigarette in one finger and his lighter held against his palm with his other fingers. He gave the taller male an apologetic look as he turned his head to the side and brought the cigarette to his lips, using his free hand to light the cigarette. He quickly brought the cigarette out with the same hand, blowing his smoke away from Sven (pretty much turning his head to the side and back so the smoke would be behind them). He held Sven's hand with one hand, and his cigarette with the other.

The question was one that he found a little odd, but he turned his eyes to look up at his boyfriend. "Fireflies are nice." He said softly, a small smile coming to his lips before he turned to take a drag of his cigarette.

[Faye]

Something must have been bothering him or it could be due to the fact that he didn't have one before they left... Oh well, nothing he could do about it. Though it did ruin the mood a little bit, he would just have to work a little harder to make him feel better so he didn't need another one until they went back to the dormitory.

Their stroll took them to the park, the moon's reflection was bouncing off the small pond, light sounds of frogs croaking could be heard off in the distance and the water droplets on the leaves were like little rainbows as the fireflies danced around them, creating a show just for the two of them. "They are, aren't they?" This would be the time for relaxation and just pure being together, here they could hold each other's hands or even hug each other, not too much kissing, though, he didn't want to start anything out in the open.
