Appearance:
She has brown eyes, thin eyebrows, a noticeable cheekbone, short purple-dyed hair, a small straight nose, and a wide mouth. Her real hair color is brown like a lion’s. She generally keeps her hair down at all times, but will have it tied up when she goes to a formal event or whatnot. Her eyes are like lion eyes. She has lion feet, tail, and ears. The rest of her body seems pretty much human. Her bust size is B and she is physically fit and tough. She is 5’6 feet tall and weighs around 140 pounds.

Clothing Style:
She wears anything that might cover her parts that don’t look human. When she teaches, she usually wears her teaching attire. It is a blue, gold, and red overcoat with a matching hat that has a symbol on the tip of it. It looks like a moon with a star in it. She also wears brown pants with a belt buckle that matches her overcoat. She normally wears nothing under her overcoat, but sometimes might wear a t-shirt if she feels the need for extra warmth. On her hands, she has durable gloves that help her stay warm during work. When she isn’t planning on doing anything for the day, she normally will wear khaki pants with a T-shirt that goes down to her thighs. If she is planning on going out, she will wear khaki pants with a buttoned down shirt. On a formal event that she has to go to, she will wear all most anything that she is required to wear.
Special Accessories:
She has a hat with a symbol on the tip of it. Her mentor gave it to her when she first started to train with him and she never took it off. It provides shade to her head.
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality:
She seems like she's not a nice person because she can be quite harsh at times. She usually snaps out harsh comments or mean insults when she gets annoyed, but if someone doesn't seem too annoying, she can be a relatively nice person. Relatively nice as in she will do certain things if they are asked upon her to do. She won't reject someone before they ask her for a favor. When she is by herself, she will do things she likes. Such as eat Peanut butter, play with small rodents, sleep in places with warm temperatures, listen to conversations between people, or drink. She normally tries to hide her interest in men because of her species, but if she becomes attracted she usually will do something to show it. Also, she rarely has any trouble figuring out how to change her own perspective to match a human's. She has a little Russian accent when she speaks and sometimes lisps when she speaks.

BACKGROUND
History:
Bahiyaa Asalah was raised and cared for by her parents. She was born different than most other kids her age. She had features of both a human and a lion. Her father was the only one that freaked out however. The local villagers in the town she was born in were used to the different children born. As time passed by in their village, people frequently began to be born with certain gifts. She was the one with the strangest gift of all however. No other kids were half of anything. They looked normal and had the different magical powers and physical ones. The gifted people called her a freak and laughed at her. Her parents still loved her however. They gave her tons of advice and suggestions to do in order to get the kids living around her to like her more. None of them worked however and she sunk into a depression.
During her depression, she let her instincts take over and she became a feral child. She began to isolate herself from others. She didn’t talk to others, touch others, and even be seen by others if she could help it. The only people that she really continued to be human around were her parents. They were very kind and accepted her isolation without any problems. Eventually the other gifted kids began to get curious of her change in behavior and then searched for her. She used her animal instincts to escape detection and began to stalk them. They at first didn’t notice her stalking. She was really good at it. One day, there was an incident when a kid got too close to her. She pounced on him and began to viciously scratch and bite him with her sharp nails and fangs. When she was pulled off, the kid was severely injured and was missing an eye.
This incident caused the citizens of the people to fear her, and that fear eventually turned into hate. She was hated by all most everyone in the village. Her parents were still the only ones who at least feigned love and affection for her. Bahiyaa could tell that they feared her as well. Eventually, they had to take her somewhere she wouldn’t be much trouble. They sent her to a man that had a familiar symptom like Bahiyaa. His name is Othaqe Reyerin.
He took her out of the village to roam the wilderness and teach her about her connections to the wildlife. She learnt how to form bonds with them. During her years of traveling with Othaqe, she began to form a special friendship with the wild man. He could be just as savage as her when he let his instincts take over, but he all ways remembered her. Bahiyaa began to remember what happened in her fits of rage too. The memories made her feel better. At first, she couldn't remember anything of what happened when she was following what her instincts told her, but now she had some control. They traveled by his side acting as good companions. She seemed to understand the bestial man and he vice versa. After a few years passed by, Othaqe took Bahiyaa to be trained by his master in hopes that she'd be able to one day fully control her outbursts of savagery.
The training building he took her to was in the middle of nowhere and she could here screams of pain from inside. Othaqe told Bahiyaa that her training wasn't going to be enjoyable until she was done. She didn't know that he used the exact same words his master used on him. With that, Othaqe left, leaving Bahiyaa in the hands of the trainers.
She, under the guidance of the trainers had learned many things to control her body and mind. Through her mind, she managed to focus her chi which is the flow of energy that sustains all living beings. For her body, she took up a martial art that he had learnt long ago when he was going through training. The martial art is called Wing Chun. It mainly specializes in aggressive close-ranged combat involving punches, but kicks are used just as well.
Years passed by and she learned how to train others in the things she learned. She took to it a little angrily at first until she found a reason to do it. First of all, Othaqe would probably praise her for completing the training as he did. Second of all, she'd be able gain confidence in herself and have a better understanding of her teachings.
Eventually, Bahiyaa landed on an island called T’zen Island. It was a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and wasn’t aligned with any country. That appealed to Bahiyaa and she liked the fact that every student she would teach would have some kind of gift. Her first view of the high school on the island impressed her. It was huge and very attractive to her eyes. Her interview had been a success when she got there and she had been really eager to begin learning what she had to teach the students with gifted minds. Her first year at the school and been one of much learning and understanding. She had been taught Armenian, Russian, and English in Armenia, but other languages were being spoken that confused her a lot. She found herself speaking English most of the time, as Russian and Armenian were rarely used by outsiders of those countries. Her next years went much more smoothly than before.
She is now currently 25 and her mentor in Armenia frequently takes the money she has earned and uses it to buy booze. He just as frequently sends her the wines from Armenia that he pays for with her money. Over time, she has grown to accept things the way they are and hopes to live her life the way she wants.
Secrets:
She is suppressing her animalistic urges to hunt and kill to search for food. This usually only happens when she gets angry, really hungry, sad, or frustrated. She becomes very dangerous when her instinctual urges come out. She tends to ask for advice from the Being Human teacher and Physical Needs teacher about her control.
Gift:
She isn’t human. She isn’t sure what she is, but she thinks she might have certain connections to the sphinxes of myth. As a half-woman and half-lioness, she has to constantly fight over control of her body. The instinctual feeling around her compels her to hunt when she needs to and her mind tells her not to. She has lion ears, sharp human nails, eyes, fangs, and a tail that are all quite noticeable.
*She can’t see in complete darkness, but if she has a light source of any kind, she can see better in it than a human.
*Her body temperature is warmer than humans being around 100-105 degrees F.
*She has a natural tendency to interact well with animals.
*She is trained in Wing Chun with the help of Othaqe as her mentor. It helps her control her body and mind.
*She has the power of chi energy through the wonderful teachings of Othaqe. Her focused body and mind has allowed her to use chi. Through intense concentration, she can use her chi towards others around her to weaken their power.
It works against anyone in close proximity to her...maybe 20 to 30 feet. Her powers at first only affected mental powers for she never thought about concentrating on someone's physical powers in order to weaken them. As she continued to develop her mind, she began to experiment and eventually she figured it out. Someone who leaves her range usually gets their full power back in about 5 to 10 minutes.
