[This thread takes place at two separate times and two separate places. All words in italics are spoken in Japanese.]
The bell rang to signal lunch and the hacker was out of her desk and headed for the Student Freedom Force at a brisk walk. She had to be quick in arriving; Kyerin wanted to speak with herself and Rai about the plan they would be doing that evening.
Haruka Amagi had spoken with Kyerin a few times over the course of the week because she needed time to work on the device Kyerin requested her to make. It had been quite simple and she had spent many nights locked away in her room in order to finish it by the day of the dance. The device and the remote that controlled the device were finished the previous night at midnight and Haruka was quite tired, but she pushed herself forward, drinking an energy drink when she woke up and keeping two or three for later.
She arrived in the room and set her briefcase on the table, taking her backpack off as well and slipping out a small, black case that held the item Kyerin had requested. Hopefully the other two would arrive soon.

Kyerin pulled the pocketwatch out of his pocket, glancing to make sure that the hands were indeed pointed at those numbers, and shoved it back in, muttering a curse to himself. They were suppose to have started meeting a few minutes ago, and here he was, not even early like he should have been! That was one reason he enjoyed just camping out in the SFF office: any sort of meeting there he wouldn't have to go anywhere, and he was always early, defying his regular habit of being completely and utterly late.
He opened the door to the office, closing it most of the way behind him as his eyes swept the room, only finding Haruka. He smiled a bit, still looking slightly frayed, but more relaxed; after spending a couple of private meeting with the girl about this project, and learning more about her own abilities, he had become more confident in her and trusted her quite a bit. Her being Japanese on this multiethnical campus helped a bit as well. "Hey, Amagi-san. Hope I'm not causing you trouble with all of this,"[/i] he said, speaking in Japanese; it felt nice to speak in his native tongue once again, though English wasn't too hard for him.

The hacker rose her eyes to look at the male who had just walked in the room. A small smile came to her lips as she adjusted her glasses and sat up in her seat, nodding to him in greeting as he spoke.
"Hello, Saito-san. There was no trouble. I joined the Student Freedom Force with the intention of being useful. Also, the device was simple to make." She motioned to the item on top of her briefcase. "It will take me a bit of time to attach the proper cords in the fuse box, but not too long."

The agreement was that they met the moment lunch began. Of course, Rai Aikaryu was the last to turn up. Kyerin had been wanting to discuss the events that were going to pan out over the course of that night. It was the Winter Dance and it was perfect for the Student Freedom Force to make their first 'attack' against the Student Council, it shouldn't be too hard seeing as they had Haru-chan on their team. A small warm, fuzzy feeling welled up in the pit of his stomach at the thought of the girl. This was followed by a smile.
But, the smile faded when he walked into the office, seeing Kyerin and Haruka casually talking in Japanese. Sure they were only speaking about tonight... But... He thought that only Haruka and him spoke like that. He felt weird in his stomach now, his heart speeding up. He tried to push it away and walked closer to the two that were talking, "Hey, Saito-san, Haruka," Odd, he didn't give Haruka a suffix...

Kyerin smiled a bit, walking around the desk and taking his proper place in the larger comfortable chair behind it, lightly sighing as he did; it was such a comfortable chair, he could possibly take a nap in it, and had already. But, despite how tired he may be from putting things off to the last minute, there was no time for naps now; it was business time.
At the sound of another voice speaking Japanese, the young man tensed, but relaxed as it was only Rai Aikaryu, the other person on this assignment. He caught the lack of suffix for the girl, but let it slide; considering how Haruka had asked for her to be partnered with Rai when the question of her pulling something like this off came up probably had a bit of backing that came from that strand, but it wasn't something that would bother him. What was important right now was making sure the Student Council had a pleasant time tonight taking care of trouble they should be expecting, but probably wasn't.
"Hello, Aikaryu-san. Both of you, please take a seat,"[/i] he said still in Japanese, just in case someone was walking by the open door. He gestured to the two chairs in front of the desk. "I apologize for taking up your lunch time, but I just wanted to make sure everything was set for this evening."[/i]

Haruka frowned slightly at how she was addressed when Rai greeted them. She would have at least expected 'Haruka-san' or 'Amagi-chan'... It was odd that the suffix had been completely dropped. She decided to let it go for now since they needed to dicuss the matter at hand. She picked up the smaller box and walked over to the chair in front of Kyerin's desk, folding her skirt beneath her and sitting down.
She had made the device under the order that she would be using it to cut the power to the fuse box to the school. However, she was unclear of the time that this would happen and such and required information. Rai knew even less than she did, however.

Tonight's events and most of the Student Freedom Force's plans were completely kept away from him until this kind of moment, he was pretty sure he was only here on Haruka's request. They probably would of gotten someone else. He had noticed the frown on Haruka's lips and felt bad about not addressing her properly, he was going to say 'Haru-chan' but something made him not... What was he feeling?
Rai nodded as Kyerin requested that they took a seat and he sat down on the chair beside Haruka, leaning back against the cushioned back of the chair, feeling a little more at ease now.
He was just anxious to know what was about to happen tonight. He knew it had something to do with the box Haruka had within her hand.

Considering that neither of them had said anything, and they both had sat down, Kyerin assumed that they were both prepared for the debriefing he was going to give... that he was now being forced to give. He had thought that they would be informing him of their ideas on how this would end up, not the other way around. No matter; he would just have to make something up on the spot. When life gives you lemons... well, to be honest, you wonder why you got lemons; there are quite a few other fruit that are better.
"The dance is slated to start at seven o'clock sharp, and last for three hours officially,"[/i] he said, checking his watch to make sure that it was set to school time before looking at the two of them. "At approximately eight thirty, I would like the lights to go out. I have another surprise that I'm going to use near the beginning of the dance, and it should be starting to have visible effects by then, so a blackout then would compound the panic."[/i]
The young man paused for a moment to ruffle through a drawer in his desk, pulling out a few random papers before removing a couple of maps, replacing the other sheets back in the drawer. He spread them across his desk, pointing it out. "You two should be at the dance early to make sure people have seen you there, then sneak out and head to the breakers. I know that Amagi-san has already probably memorized a route, but here is a hard copy just in case you need them. I don't know which path you'll take there, but as long as you hit the time within a five minute window on either side, it should work out nicely."[/i]
He smiled, rising from his chair to shake both of their hands. "Thank you for doing this for me," he said, switching into English. "And good luck; I hope you have a good time tonight."

Indeed, Haruka had memorized the maps and she knew the exact route she would be taking to get to the breakers. She memorized the time the dance began and made sure to make it around seven fifteen, where she would wait for Rai and then they would sneak out. She thought it over for the moment and thought it would work if she left with Rai, as people would think they were a couple seeking a private moment. She could make an act of it...
She rose to her feet when Kyerin did and shook his hand, nodding at his wish for good luck. As he left, she watched him and once he left through the door, she turned to face Rai.
"Your excellent sense of hearing will prove to be valuable in this situation. We will leave the dance together at approximately seven twenty-five. I will give the cue for when she shall leave. Once we depart, we will take the path I have already chosen make it to the fuse box. While we are there, it is crucial that you keep your ears open for any noise that might indicate that someone might be coming. I will be focusing on my work."
She gripped the small box in her hand. "Saito-san and I have met a few times in order to discuss how this will be done. From the calculations we have made, the plan is near flawless."

Rai shook Kyerin's hand gently and turned his attention to Haruka, noting his importance in the mission. His hearing, yes.. if they didn't know about that then he wouldn't be here, either. He felt kind of glad about talking to Haruka about his little gift, he began to feel at least a little useful for the Student Freedom Force. However, he figured he would just be standing around but he would be on his toes and on guard, he wasn't going to be the reason this fucked up.
"Okay, sounds good..." He replied, not knowing what else to say. His stomach did a flip and filled with that strange feeling from before when she mentioned she had been meeting with Kyerin previously in private. Sure it was on strict SFF terms only but he couldn't help but feel a little... What was it.. Sure it wasn't...
Jealously? Why...?
He didn't feel anything but friendship for the girl, right? Jealously wasn't allowed to be present!

Haruka nodded and noted the time on the wall.
"Ah, lunch will be over soon... I will see you this evening at the dance. Please try to be as on time as possible. I will arrive at seven fifteen and leave ten to fifteen minutes later, whether you come or not."
She gave him a small bow of her head. Without any more words, she walked over to pick up her backpack and slip the small box inside before grabbing the backpack and her briefcase and departing from the room.

"Okay, Haru-chan, I promise I'll be there on time," He said, using her name with a suffix, matching his normal personality. He felt a little uneasy but he couldn't let it get in the way of anything tonight. Tonight was important and he was going to do his best.
For Haru-chan.

Evening finally fell upon T'zen Island. She had checked her appearance in the mirror and then looked toward her purse. It held her cell phone, the device, and the remote to the device inside... as well as a bit of pink lip gloss; she was a girl, afterall. She took a deep breath and adjusted her glasses, looking at herself in the mirror for a long moment. She felt the tears build up in her eyes as she glared at herself. She didn't belong in such a beautiful gown... Her grandmother had been too kind to buy it and she was ruining it with her tiny, horrible little body. She tore her eyes away from her reflection and grabbed her purse. The dress Haruka wore was sleeveless and black with highlights of red in occasional places. It wrapped around her tiny form quite well. Just above the left breast rested a black bow with a red center. On her feet were simple black heels that were no more than half an inch tall. Black gloves covered her arms all the way til a few inches above her elbow. She had been thankful for the gloves as she wouldn't have worn the dress without them; no one needed to see her wrists. She departed from her dormitory room, finding Faye had already left. She left the dormitories all together and arrived at the gym at the precise time she had planned. She entered and walked over to a nice, secluded area where people could still see her quite well. Here, she would wait for Rai.

The course of the day had gone by slowly but eventually, the night fell over the island like a blanket, preparing it for sleep. But it wasn't going to get to sleep until very late that night. Usually once the main dance was finished, there would be several after parties, etc going on that were a little less tame than the dance itself.
Preparing for the dance, was Rai Aikaryu. He didn't have a room mate and wandered around his dorm in his black slacks, white button up shirt with a dark blue tie to go with his hair. He wore a black blazer to look more formal for Haruka. He was gathering up the various things he thought he would need to not look suspicious, his cell phone was a number on priority, plus maybe some money... he didn't know what else.
Giving up, he didn't take a second look in the mirror and left his dormitory. His hair was neatly styled, still having a spiky feeling about it but was more straight than usual so it wasn't sticking out everywhere like he had just gotten out of bed. He walked briskly down to the gym where he found Haruka.
His jaw dropped at the sight of her.
She...
She was amazing... So beautiful, elegant.
So perfect.
"A-ah... Haru-c-chan.." Was what he managed to splutter out.

Haruka turned to look at Rai and noted he cleaned up quite well. She turned her eyes to look at his expression and raised an eyebrow as she saw he seemed a little flustered. She brushed it off, though, as she slipped her phone from her purse and examined the time. It would be getting time for them to depart soon...
She looked back up at him. "You arrived just on time." She gave him a small smile before looking forward at the other people of the dance. She had been seen, she was sure, and she waited until she noticed Faye was looking in her direction.
Perfect.
She then moved close to the male, taking his arm with her hand and leaning up to gently whisper in his ear, "It's time to go, Rai-kun... Remember... You are my ears..." She smiled as she moved back and slipped her hand into his, turning to lead him toward a nearby exit that would lead into the school. It had been left open because the bathrooms were near by.
Once they were away from the eyes of others, Haruka took her hand so she could kneel down. She quickly slipped her high heels off and held them delicately in her hands.
"Let's go."
