APPEARANCE DETAILS
Appearance: Vasilisa is rather petite with a small body, standing at 5'2'' Her hair is a light brown on the verge of blonde and appears a platinum blonde at certain angles. Her eyes are a deep blue that often seem hazy and dazed, like she's staring off into another world. She has a meek and innocent aoura about her. Often more than not she seems sad or distant, though when she sees something she feels isn't right or just, she changes instantly, becoming dangerous and dark. Her breasts are a c-cup.
Vasilisa
Clothing Style: She likes light fabrics that cling lightly to her body. She often likes to wear long dresses that seem more royal than anything by herself or around family. Around everyone else she wears a pleated skirt fashioned into a way that looks like a skirt for a uniform, it's length about to above her knees along with a buttoned white shirt with a jacket, as to blend in.
Special Accessories: A necklace that contains an opal-like jewel that appears to glow and swirl at times when she is angry.
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality: Vasilisa is always concerned over everyone's well being. Usually forgetting her own. Though she is far from selfless. Although she really only shows her kind and compassionate side she considers herself to be a very selfish and self-centered person.
She tends to beat herself down constantly, gaining an inferiority complex, beliving that she's not good enough for anyone. She hides this though by being as cheerful and outgoing as she can possibly be. By herself she isn't all that together inside and feels that she is weak, and she hates herself because of this. She won't hate anyone unless they have done something to hurt her deeply. She's really a two sided girl.
Also, she has the annoying habit of apoligizing for everything. She tries to be as polite and considerate as she can...though she will speak her mind on a rare occation...Really she's just a major pushover and a softie, not wanting to appear as rude or offend anyone.
But she is far from innocent, being driven to madness and depression whenever she uses her abilities. The effects last for days, and in that time she appears to be a completely different person if angered. She has a strong sense of justice and hates seeing anything unjust.

BACKGROUND
History: Vasilisa grew up in a society of magic users, specializing in the elements. Her family were leaders of a sort, and she made sure she was the perfect daughter, as to prove her worth. She was the youngest of the family, and not taken much notice of. She lived on the rare affection given to her.
She was considered, in short, a dissapointment when it was shown that she had no talent for weilding the elements. Her family supported her, though they were clearly dissapointed in her and her weakness. She had no one and was a faliure as the familiy heir.
She didn't mind not being able to weild the elements. She was far happier being herself. So what if others didn't like her for her short-coming? The only person who had to live with that fact was herself, and she wasn't going to sacrifice herself because of something so stupid as the elements.
Her life proved to be a happy one, other than the fact she had a very low control over the elements, only able to make a small breeze or make a rock roll over or make it hover in the air or make tiny waves in the water or make small fires or melt metals and so on. But things began to shift on her thirteenth birthday. She recived a beautiful necklace from a family friend. It was supposed to awaken the power of the elements within her. It seemed that it was only a silly story, since nothing happened, though they swore that it worked with them when they had trouble mastering their element.
But soon she discovered she could weild one element. The element of spirit. As she was walking through the forest near the main house, she stumbled upon a wounded animal, near death. She felt pity and something else. The desire to help it. She didn't know how but...she decided that she had to fix it...maybe if she touched it it would be fixed. If not...she should put it out of it's misery, which was the only kindness that she had to offer.
But when she reached out and touched it, something strange happened. The wounds on the animal healed before her eyes as wonderful sensations flooded through her. It seemed as though everything happy and wonderful in her life had come out of her all at once.
She was happy to have found this...power she supposed it was. But there was something else. She seemed to feel...unhappy afterwords. More than unhappy. Seriously depressed. She didn't understand and brushed it off as nothing. She rushed home to tell her family what she had discovered.
Her family was eleated and encouraged her to continue with this newfound gift. But soon they started to pressure her to use it, making a profit out of her. She was more than happy to do it since she wanted to make everyone happy. But she bacame more depressed. Little things beat at her brain, making things hard to tolerate.
And at the school she went to, where no one knew she could control this one freak element, everyone shunned her. She couldn't stanbd their cold looks. The whispers. The rumors. The games. Everything crashed down on her and she felt that there was no escape.
She didn't know how to cope with it. The depression. She began to cut herself, and that helped only a little and it was only temporary. She began on a downward spiral and it seemed that she couldn't handle it.
She would have private fits as everything became too much, clwaing at her face, leaving marks and then pretending not to know where they came from later. Her family became more concerned but never guessed that it was due to her powers.
A few months after her seventeenth birthday they heard of the T'zenshin Institute and how it accepted others who are gifted. It seemed the perfect opportunity for Vasilisa, and so they sent her there, securing her a job at a hospital as well, so that she would have her own income to spend on herself.
Secrets: She becomes seriously depressed after useing her abilty to heal.
Gift: She has the ability to heal others, though it takes a toll on her physically and emotionally, though no one knows that last bit.
