APPEARANCE DETAILS
Appearance:
Haruka is a computer geek, but she really doesn’t look it. Though the thought of doing anything physical makes her visibly shudder, she enjoys swimming, which is why she is able to keep such a thin form. Her chest size is about a C-cup, her waist is thin, and her hips have just enough curve (her measurements being 36-28-38). Her black hair goes to her hips and is naturally straight with a classic fringe just above her eyes. Her deep, grey eyes gaze around through thick-rimmed glasses seeing as she’s afraid to wear contact lenses (mainly because she’s afraid she’ll fall asleep with them in while she works, and plus, she already has blinking problems as it is). Her skin is creamy-pale from being exposed to little sunlight.

Clothing Style:
Haruka’s wardrobe mainly consists of formal-like attire. She can often be seen wearing white button-up shirts with tank tops underneath and black pants (though the shirt is rarely tucked into the pants). Sometimes she’ll wear uniform-like tops and skirts, but it’s not too often. She wears simple clothing since she doesn’t go out often and she usually just needs something to feel comfortable in.
Special Accessories:
Haruka’s first and most valuable special accessory would have to be her laptop. However, her laptop isn’t some ordinary laptop you can get anywhere. At first, you wouldn’t be able to see what her laptop was at first if you saw her carrying it around. She carries a black briefcase around with her that opens up to reveal not a normal briefcase inside, but the laptop itself. Once it is opened up, the part closest to Haruka is also able to fold down so she can rest her hands comfortably to type. The USB plugs are lined up the sides on the inside of the briefcase, so she can have them still plugged in even with the briefcase closed. On the outside, there is a tiny compartment she can open up and pull out a thin cord that she would plug in to use as a charger. Another compartment on the other side is a plug that she can plug into another computer in order to link her computer to another computer and hack into it. It is also protected by a very powerful set of passwords and usernames as well as viruses protecting it from being hacked. The laptop has about 150 GB of memory.
Her second valuable special accessory would have to be the lanyard around her neck seeing as at the bottom of the lanyard are about seventeen or so flash drives attached securely so they don’t fall or get misplaced. She is also very blind without her glasses, so they are also very important.
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality:
Haruka is a difficult person to pin. Many believe her to be your ordinary computer geek with nothing better to do with her life, but they’re wrong. She’s quite the evil, conniving girl with her abilities to hack into any computer with a security system. She is a wiz-kid and loves to challenge herself to anything.
Some would call her anti-social, but they are quite wrong about that. Haruka always has something to say and will say it whenever she feels like it. She’s painfully honest and people often find her rather appalling that she points out their every flaw. She does this because it makes her feel better about herself, seeing as if she can see the flaws of others, maybe her own wouldn’t look so bad.
Sarcasm is like a fifth language to her. She loves to use it quite frequently, which can be potentially painful to one’s ego if she combines her sarcasm with her blunt honesty.
Haruka does have a soft side, but to show it would be to let her guard down. She doesn’t like to let people in to her world for she feels no one would ever truly understand what goes through her life. Though she can be rude, she can still be a very nice person and quite the flirt.

BACKGROUND
History:
Yuusuke Akiyama was a computer genius who worked for a secret organization in Yokohama, Japan. By day, he was an ordinary office worker who worked in the sales department. However, by night, he worked for this secret organization. The organization was made up of a large group of super-intelligent humans and their mission was to study the various arts of magic and magical beings in attempt to create super humans. Yuusuke was the brains of the organization and he worked with the computer systems, putting up impossible blocks that no one but himself could get into. He hacked into other computer mainframes in order to gain vital information for the organization to use.
While working for this organization, he met a scientist by the name of Tsukiko Amagi. She was part of a team of scientists who studied the DNA structures of those with magical abilities in order to find what gave them their magical abilities to see if they could copy it and put it in the DNA of a regular human. They met one evening in the break room. He asked her out to coffee the following day and she agreed to meet with him. The two began to see more of each other outside work and they soon fell very much in love. They began to have very intimate relations and soon, Tsukiko became pregnant. They married soon after the discovery of her pregnancy.
Haruka Akiyama was born on the 26th of August in the year 1997. She spent a lot of time sleeping in the arms of her mother while her mother worked at the laboratory. There wasn’t much out of the ordinary with Haruka and no one paid too much attention to her, other than to say how adorable she was before getting back to work. However, that changed shortly after her second birthday.
Tsukiko had set Haruka down to play with some blocks with the hiragana alphabet on them one day. While Tsukiko worked, Haruka played with the blocks. One scientist was on her break and Tsukiko asked if she could watch Haruka for a little bit. The woman was more than happy to help and she went over to Haruka and noticed the letters on the blocks and how the child was just staring at them. She moved them into alphabetical order while Haruka watched. She then smiled and encouraged Haruka to help her make little towers with the blocks. Haruka played for a little bit until the woman had to get back to work. Haruka then took down the towers and she began to slowly organize the blocks.
When Tsukiko came over to check on Haruka, she found that the blocks had been put into alphabetical order. She called the other woman over and asked if she had done it and the woman said she had done it once, but then the blocks had been shuffled around when they began to make little towers. Amazed that her daughter had been able to put the blocks in the right order, she spoke to one of her superiors about checking Haruka for signs of any special ability.
They didn’t think they would find anything special about Haruka other than the fact that she just happened to be smart compared to the average two year old, but they were surprised when they found her brain gave off different waves then the normal human brain. They were surprised that two human parents had given birth two a gifted child. They began to run more tests on her. They used blocks to make simple words and then they would mix them up. Haruka would put them back in the order they told her to do it. They were amazed at how well she was able to listen and follow directions at such a young age.
She was very quiet in her youngest years, but as they taught her, she was able to structure together complex sentences that most children wouldn’t develop until about age four. She learned at an incredible rate and they very much believed that she was gifted with some special ability. They began to run more tests on her brain as well as with her DNA. She spent a lot of her youth being monitered and her records were piled up with brain scans and journals of their studies on her. She was almost like a caged animal, being kept in a room where scientists would come in to teach her something new or to check on her progress of something she was doing.
She was reading and writing by age three. She had the hiragana alphabet down quite well and would write sentences that she was told to write. They would dictate, she would write. She would read books aloud, starting off with children’s books and then moving on to more complex books. She was really like a super genius. It was seldom that they had to teach her do to something more than once.
Scientists continued to look in to magic users and they thought they had found a part of a magic user’s DNA that gave them the ability to freeze things. At first, they took the magic user to the room Haruka stayed in frequently and they tried to see if the magic user could teach Haruka how to freeze things, to see if Haruka’s intelligence would give her the ability to use magic.
However, it wasn’t something that Haruka was able to learn. So they took a copy of the magic DNA and they put Haruka into a complicated surgery to try and combine her DNA and the DNA of the magic user. However, her body rejected it and, in turn, she was nearly killed from the magic that wasn’t meant to be in her body. They had to quickly remove the DNA in order to keep her from dying. It took her a year before she was fully recovered to the point she had been before the surgery.
However, by this time, the organization had been discovered by the government. Yuusuke and Tsukiko had one final moment together where Yuusuke told her to take Haruka and run away from Tsuzuki-ku. They parted and Yuusuke, along with many other members of the organization, were put to death in order to erase all traces of the organization because magic wasn’t even supposed to be something that existed. However, before his death, Yuusuke put everything on the computers onto a single flash drive that he had developed in case something were to happen, which he gave Tsukiko before she left.
Tsukiko left Yokohama and went to Tokyo, where her parents were. Haruka spent the rest of her childhood living in the Takanawa neighborhood of Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, with her mother and grandparents. It was also at this time that Tsukiko had her last name changed back to her maiden name to keep them safe from being discovered as part of the now-extinct organization (though Tsukiko’s name had once been Amagi, they computer files and everything had been changed to Akiyama with her marriage. The name Amagi was erased from the database.). Haruka’s last name was also changed to Amagi.
At the age of six, Haruka began first grade at Shinno Elementary School. She was a fast learner and she found herself getting bored in classes since she was able to learn the material so quickly while others were still struggling. It was during the second grade, when Haruka was about seven years old, that her mother introduced her to computers. She became very interested with them and spent a lot of her time at home on the internet, reading up on anything she could. With more research and the encouragement of her mother, she read into computer programming… And through this, she began to look into computer hacking (something her mother was unaware she had been looking into). She read everything she could find and soon began to work on memorizing special codes.
By the third grade, her grandmother suggested to her mother that Haruka should try to learn another language other than Japanese. Tsukiko hired a private tutor to come to the home and teach Haruka the English language.
It was at this time that Haruka’s sight began to become quite poor from how much time she spent looking into bright computer screens and from the history of bad eyes on her mother’s side of the family. Because of this, around the fourth grade, Haruka began to wear glasses in order to see.
This continued on until sixth grade, when it was time for Tsukiko to begin looking for a school to send Haruka to. This proved to be quite difficult because an ordinary middle school would be too simple for Haruka and she’d become bored within the first few weeks. Tsukiko continued to look through names of special institutes and she came upon the T’zenshi Institute for the gifted. Upon further research on it, she felt that her daughter fit in with the mental abilities. She decided that when it came time for her daughter to move to the seventh grade, she would send her to The T’zenshin Institute.
During Haruka’s first year at T’zenshin, she spent a lot of her spare time in the computer lab, her personal laptop on her lap and a school computer sitting in front of her. She only had a few flash drives, but these were used to store the information she had from her personal computer at home so she could put the information on her laptop or on the computers at the school to work on. Here, she met an eleventh grader who was very into computers and when she met Haruka, she knew the girl had potential to be something great.
The girl was Natasha Peterson and she was an SFF member who was a hacker. She was in charge of running the databases of the SFF as well as looking up any information needed for the SFF. Natasha taught Haruka the art of hacking, an art that Haruka had only read back at home. This information was vital to Haruka’s future in the SFF.
By the end of her seventh grade year, Haruka owned only three normal flash drives and had learned to make five of her own, thanks to the help of Natasha. With this information, Haruka went back home to Minato-ku, Tokyo, and began to work more into hacking and keeping information. She made special flash drives that would be used for fire-wall breakers. Her best piece of ‘art’ was the flash drive she developed with a keygen, which she could use to hack into almost any computer protected by a password. She tested it a few times and found herself quite proud with her work.
She went back to T’zenshin in her eighth grade year and showed her knew items off to Natasha, who was impressed by Haruka’s progress. She knew Haruka would be special, especially with her unique abilities and her incredible mind. She told Haruka that if she could hack into one of Natasha’s most guarded files, that when it came time to name who would take over her position as the ‘brains’ of the SFF, she would name Haruka. Haruka joined the SFF that year, but she was only a small pawn with very little power.
Over the course of that year, along with staying at the top in her classes, she worked on trying to hack into Natasha’s files. It proved to be quite a challenge because the files were protected by viruses that threatened to literally blow up Haruka’s laptop. Thankfully, Haruka was smart enough to know how to defuse viruses with little trouble. By the end of the year, with the use of her keygen and her latest fire-wall breaker, she was able to get into Natasha’s files. At the end of the school year, Haruka was put in the position of the intelligence force of the SFF, where she currently is at her tenth year.
Haruka is now fifteen years old and starting her tenth year at the T’zenshin Institute. She now has up to fifteen flash drives that she made herself, five of which are for just hacking, three are filled with information on the Student Freedom Force, three for the Student Council information, and four for the random things she likes to keep. Though she is still young, her mind is still growing at an incredible rate and she is proud that she is able to work as hard as she does.
Secrets:
Haruka is an intense computer hacker, though that isn’t too much of a secret.
However, there is one secret she possesses that no one but her mother knows. In her youth, from age two to about age five, she spent a good part of her life being monitered by scientists who believed she was special and had abilities different from an ordinary human. They tried to harness what made her so intelligent. They also tried to combine her DNA with the DNA of a magical being, but her body rejected the DNA and she nearly died. The organization couldn’t do much more after she recovered for the organization was then discovered and shut down.
Gift:
Haruka has a mental ability that works like a combination of super intelligence and photographic memory. She is the top of her classes because she can remember all the information she reads in text books and reads at an incredible rate (meaning she can have a whole text book memorized in a single Saturday afternoon). She was born with this mental ability and this ability helps her in her computer hacking because she is able to decipher complicated codes and reprogram various information and programs.
All of her flash drives are ones she made herself, and a good number of them are ones with various firewall breakers and keygens (password breakers) for different types of computers. Other flash drives are used for holding information, such as detailed information on members of the SFF and the Student Council.
