Suri blinked as she saw the blush on her brother's cheeks, looking to Haruka when she had walked over to the table. A small smile came to her lips, bowing her head slightly when Rai had introduced her. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Haruka."
So this was Rai's girlfriend? She seemed very nice, and was beautiful. Suri wouldn't deny that. If Rai was so enthralled with her then she was a good person and someone that Rai deserved. Besides, who was she to pick who was right and who was wrong for Rai? That was Rai's decision. She was just there to help support him and keep him in line. Lifting her head from her bow, she looked to the marble cookie she had left. She picked up the obento, holding it out to Haruka.
"I meant to.. make you something when.. we had a proper meeting. This is all I have right now but, you're welcome to have it."

Sister...?
Haruka couldn't even begin to explain the joy she felt explode in her chest when she heard that word. Suddenly, everything made sense and everything seemed right. Haruka never had any siblings, so she'd never seen the signs of how a brother and a sister might act towards each other. Rai was a happy, spontaneous person, so of course he would probably be affectionate to his own kin. He was certainly affectionate toward her.
A genuine smile slid onto the lips of the Japanese girl and she gave a bow in return. "Hajimemashite. It is a pleasure to meet you, Suri-san." She spoke, both Japanese and English. She used the proper suffix for the girl, since it would be much to forward to use '-chan' and she didn't exactly know Suri's last name. Rai had mentioned before that he and Suri had different last names, but the reason for it simply escaped her mind. Maybe he hadn't mentioned it...
When she rose from her bow, she blinked curiously at the offering the other girl made. She reached out her pale, thin hand and took the cookie, eying it for only a moment before raising it up to her mouth and taking a bite. Her grey eyes lit up at the taste and she smiled as she took another bite. She swallowed and licked her lips before looking back at Suri.
"Domo arigatou gozaimasu. This is really delicious."

Rai had take note of the sudden change of mood Haruka experienced, confused he rose an eyebrow but he decided to let it slide for now, they were in the middle of their first meeting and he didn't want to ruin it by asking too many weird questions.
He took Haruka by the hand and got her to sit down beside him where his obento still was once she had finished praising Suri for her wondrous baking. "Su-chan's been dying to meet you," He said as he flashed Suri a teasing smile, his hand still holding Haruka's, enjoying the warmth radiating from hers.

Suri had smiled even wider, feeling a warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach as Haruka had complimented her baking. She was also quite happy with herself that she understood the Japanese that Haruka used. So her own Japanese wasn't that bad as long as she could understand what Haruka was saying. However, when Rai said that Suri was dying to meet Haruka, Suri's cheeks puffed up slightly as she opened her mouth to respond but then slowly closed it, looking down with a light red tinge to her cheeks.
It was true, she was excited to see Haruka, but not.. dying.. to meet her. Shaking her head quickly to regain her composure, she sat up straight with her hands in her lap. "Thank you for the compliment. I can make you more, if you'd like. I can also make other things... as long as its baking. Rai got the cooking talent and I got the baking talent."

Haruka finished up the cookie as she listened to the siblings speak and she smiled at the mention of Rai being able to cook and Suri being able to bake. She brought a hand up to push her glasses up before she spoke.
"Rai's cooking is what's been keeping me fed at lunch lately." She smiled fondly at her boyfriend before turning her attention back to Suri. "I only hope that I will be able to return the favor. My cooking isn't exactly the best, but I would feel terrible if you made something for me and I was unable to return the favor."

Rai laughed as he saw Suri's reaction to his teasing, he remained silent for the time being, however, to let the two speak. He blushed a little as Suri spoke of his cooking talent but he was proud of it, he was able to keep Haruka's eating up so there would be no repeats of previous events.
"That sounds like fun~ I can come too, right~?" He didn't want to be left out of the loop when it came to his girlfriend and little sister's friendship. He would feel like a third wheel and awkward if he wasn't involved.

Suri grinned a bit, looking to Haruka. "Why, it's not up to me. If I'm baking things for Haruka-san, then she will decide if you get some or not. " With this, she stuck her tongue out ever so slightly at Rai, laughing after she did. Oh, if Suri knew that Haruka wasn't eating ... then she'd get onto her case too. Haruka was a part of the family, after all~! Now that she was Rai's girlfriend.
"Oh, and Haruka-san, don't you worry about getting me anything in return. I'm happy to do it. How about Rai makes the lunch, and then I'll make the desert. As long as he keeps the fruits and vegetables in the obento too."

Haruka couldn't help but let out a small laugh at the girl teasing her brother. Being with Suri was, in a way, a lot like being with Faye, whom she had a good friendship with. She hoped to develop a relationship with Suri, considering the girl was the younger kin of her boyfriend.
"If Rai-kun really wants to get himself mixed up in all the girl talk, then let him be our guest." She teased her boyfriend, smiling in his direction before turning her attention back to Suri. "If you two insist on doing so much cooking, there has to be something I can do in return."

At the mention of girl talk, he suddenly felt very sceptical about attending these kinds of things. Maybe he would just come to the odd one? Or bring something to entertain himself while they gossiped and talked about inappropriate things. He shook the thoughts from his head and turned back to Haruka, "All you have to do is enjoy yourself, Haru-chan~"
He wanted to make sure Haruka had a good time wasn't feeling sorry for herself or not eating. Haruka was his girlfriend, she didn't have to feel obliged to return the favour, it was all out of sheer kindness and concern for her well-being.

Suri had smiled, nodding at Rai's comment. Just seeing Haruka happy and enjoying the things she made would make her happy. As silly or corny as that sounded. Oh she kind of missed girl talk... and she missed her old friends from school. Though she was never very fond of gossiping, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at school. This new school she didn't have any friends yet, but, maybe she could start with Haruka~!
"Rai is right. As long as you're happy we'll be happy~!" Suri wasn't sure how to go about asking her next question, though. Rai was sure to have told Haruka about his ability, but did he tell her about her own ability? Not that hers was very important... or could be use for anything useful. So she would hold off on asking about that for now.

Haruka pouted a little, but finally gave in a smiled at the siblings. She would just have to think of something to do for them in return later, since nothing seemed to come to mind right away. Maybe she could buy them some cooking supplies... Hm...
She didn't seem to notice that her backpack was nearly about to fall off the chair behind her until she heard it thud. She squeaked and reached out to pick it up. As she did so, the sleeve of her shirt slid up a little to reveal the bandages around her wrist, that extended up her forearm beneath her sleeve, well up to just above her elbow.

Rai jumped as her backpack hit the floor, the sound ringing in his ear. He brought up a pale hand to rub the inside of his ear in attempt to stop it from hurting, he was having enough trouble with the noise that the other members of the student body were making then. It was ridiculous how fast a room got loud when everyone was talking.
As Haruka bent down to retrieve her bag, he noticed her sleeve roll up, revealing some of her bandages. The memories flooded back to him and shifted forward so Suri wouldn't see them, pretending to assist her with picking them up. Whether or not his reaction time was accurate, he didn't know, all he knew was that he didn't want Suri asking questions. The fact that it happened was bad enough.. but it brought them together..
"You alright, Haru-chan?"

Suri was slightly startled as she heard the bag fall to the floor, looking over towards the sound to see what had fell. It was Haruka's backpack, and she saw just a small glimpse of Haruka's wrist before Rai had shifted into her vision. She sat up straight, fixing her vision down onto her rice in her bento. Was.. Haruka hurt? She was not going to ask questions. That was rude. She would wonder about it, but she.. wasn't going to ask questions. What if it brought up a bad memory for Haruka-san, or for Rai?
She would stay quiet for now, as she did not want to interrupt the two. The picked up her chopsticks, starting to slowly eat from her obento once more. She was about... half way done now. There was something Rai didn't want her to see, or he wouldn't have... shifted into her vision. Then again, she could have been over analyzing things.. he could have just shifted accidentally.

Haruka noticed how quick Rai was to help her, and when she looked back down, she noticed that her sleeve had shifted. She sat up and placed the backpack down, quickly adjusting her sleeved with a pink blush on her cheeks. She was embarrassed that her bandages had shown. She kept her eyes focused down on her lap for a moment before she offered a weak smile toward Rai.
"I'm fine, Koibito. Really... There's no need to worry about it..." She spoke softly in Japanese.

Rai lifted his hand to gently rub his girlfriends back as he saw the light blush on her cheeks and heard her reply. He then turned back to Suri, who looked confused and awkard. The discomfort soon latched onto him and he felt the heat levels rise up in the room. "So um.. how are your classes, Suri?" He asked her to change the subject and hopefully lighten the mood.
He would have to speak to Haruka later about how she was feeling with her scars on her wrist. They hadn't sat down and talked about it at all since they returned from Japan so he saw that the conversation was long overdue.
