Kyerin glanced to her cheeks, noticing that she was blushing... which in turn, caused him to blush as well. What was she thinking? He could check... scratch that, he didn't want to, in case she was thinking of something truly... embarrassing. Besides, he could wager a guess that it was similar to what he was thinking: they were in his room alone... and it was highly unlikely that anyone would come to bother them.
The young man felt that it would be more awkward to break the gaze... though he wasn't sure he could even if he tried. Instead, he gently reached out with one hand, and held her closest hand in his, not saying anything. He was unsure what to do... or even what would happen... but for some reason, he didn't mind it right now.

Nicolette's eyes widened just slightly as he took her hand, but she moved her hand just enough to lace her fingers with his, clutching his hand tightly in hers. She swallowed and her eyes moved over his face, examining every feature. They had met many times before, whether it be during class or for business purposes... But none of those times did she have a chance to see the boy this close and to see how wonderfully handsome he was.
And, without really thinking about it, she genly bit her bottom lip and started to lean forward a little.
---
All of her hard worked files that she had taken the time to look up had been replaced. She had printed out the files and put them in Kyerin's filing cabinet, and when she had gone to retrieve them, she found that when she went to look at the profile of Sven Carlisle, she came up with information on some television show called Scrubs.
And the flashdrive that had the information on the Student Council members was with Kyerin. She needed the information, and she wanted to ask him what the hell happened to her files. The elevator soon binged and she stepped out of it, closing the file and continuing down the hallway.

Kyerin was surprised when the girl titled her hand, aligning her fingers with the gaps between his to lace their hands together, holding them more tightly against one another. The pink tinge on his cheeks grew darker at the action; that meant that she had some feelings about this arrangement as well. But... how would it work? It would be a rocky relationship initially, just with their positions, not to mention that events would happen in the future that could potentially end such a thing traumatically...
But thoughts such as that were quickly lost when the young man noticed that Nicolette was leaning forward; did that mean... was she suggesting that they... oh man. Well, this was it; he could either go for it, or back out, and be a weenie and wonder for the rest of his life what could have been. Steeling himself, the boy began to lean forward as well.

They were so close. Nicolette's hand clung tight to her rival's as they simultaneously leaned closer together. Their faces were close, to the point that the girl could feel Kyerin's breath on her lower face. Was this going to happen? Would they throw the past of the Student Council and the Student Freedom Force behind them, and begin anew?
Their mouths were mere inches away...
-----
Haruka finally came up to the proper room and let out a sigh as she rose her hand up to knock on the door, waiting for the male to answer the door. This was sort of the last place she wanted to be, and she didn't quite want to be with Kyerin alone, after what happened last time... But she forced herself to do this, because she needed her information.
She let out a sigh and shifted her weight to her other leg, waiting for the door to be answered.

Kyerin could feel the older girl's breath against his lips and face as they continued to lean closer, the grip between their hands growing even tighter. Was this really happening? Were they really going to go through with this? He couldn't believe it, and yet... he was ready for it. It would be nice... most likely. There would be questions and problems, but they could deal with it lat-
A knocking at the door broke the moment, the young man turning his head to the side and leaning forward, both missing the kiss that was about to come and managing not to knock his head against Nicolette's. He looked at her, half apologetically, half sheepishly. "I... should probably answer that," he said, not sure what else to say without sounding stupid... well, more stupid than that sounded.

It almost happened... They had been so close, but both their heads snapped in the direction of the door once there had been a knock on it and Nicolette visibly paled a little. Would someone catch the Student Council President in the boys' dormitory...? She swallowed hard and gave a small nod at the younger male, loosening her grip on his hand and folding her hands in her lap.
Haruka waited outside the room, moving to straighten her school uniform while she waited. She had yet to change into normal clothing with all she work she'd been doing with Rai. Her eyes rose when the door opened and she opened her mouth to start speaking.
"Kyerin-san... I think we have a-..." She paused when she noticed they weren't alone. She blinked a few times before starting to speak again, but in Japanese, "Did I come at a bad time?"

Kyerin sighed at the interruption, but got to his feet, his hand slowly slipping out of hers; hopefully there was a good reason for this. He crossed over to the door, opening it to reveal Haruka, pretty much the second-in-command for the SFF. Well... things got a lot more interesting, considering that Nicolette was obviously sitting there behind him. Well, this should be good, considering that Haruka had come to his room personally.
The young man lightly crossed his arms as he listened to the girl, noticing that she swapped to speaking in Japanese partway through, most likely because of his visitor. However, he shook his head at her question. "No, it's not a bad time," he said, replying in English to where the older girl would understand them. "This might be helpful, actually, depending on what sort of problem it is." Maybe the SFF took a blow from these mysterious vandals as well; they might find more information from this crime.

Nicolette was quiet as she watched Kyerin open the door, and blinked once when she saw a girl dressed in the school uniform. However, she wouldn't DARE say anything about it, considering she'd be a hypocrit to do so. She raised an eyebrow at the sudden language change, but felt a little comfort in Kyerin's kindness to keep it in English.
Haruka glanced back over at Nicolette, a small frown sliding on her lips. What was Kyerin doing...? The reason the members of the SFF were unknown was to keep the Student Council from questioning or making personal issues. However, if her leader believed that the Student Council President was.... trustworthy enough, she hardly had any place to speak. It wasn't like she really had much power in the SFF, despite being second in command.
The hacker rose an eyebrow at the second comment, but gave a shrug and held out the folder to the male. However, she kept her language in Japanese for the pure fact that Nicolette didn't need to know that she had hacked the systems for information.
"My information for the council has been replaced. I brought along the profile of the vice president to show you what my files had been replaced with." While he looked over the file, she continued to speak. "And I believe you to be smart enough to not tell her that I have these sorts of files, considering it could get me into a lot of trouble." She glanced up with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Kyerin knew that he was taking a few risks here, but they were risks that he didn't mind... or rather, didn't even care about. Really, how fair was it that the Student Council was completely listed, but the only known member of the SFF outside of the organization was the leader? It wasn't really a level playing field, in his opinion... but still, sometimes he just had to play with the cards he was dealt with.
He scrolled through the file, unable to hide a small grin on his face, before looking back at Haruka. "Interesting that someone would hack into your computer," he said, handing it back to her. The young man reached over and picked up the folder, withdrawing a couple photos from it and showing it to the girl. "Incidentally, Miss Nicolette also had her personal space tampered with... do you think they might be connected?" The girl should be able to pick up on the unsaid questions: did she think an SFF member was responsible for this? Besides, they both had a playful feel to them... they could have been done by the same person.

Haruka took the photographs and looked them over. She noted the letter on the folder that Kyerin had taken the pictures from and reached over, picking it up. She didn't bother to read the actual words, but the looked over the type of paper used and the ink and such. She compared it to the file she held in her hand. Different printers, she knew that much...
"The printer that this letter," Haruka paused to hold up the letter from Nicolette's room, "looks to be an older model, one generally used for personal use." She then lifted the other one. "And this one looks to have been done by a public source, like a school printer..." And then she paused to look at Kyerin. "Maybe possibly even of the Student Council or Student Freedom Force office printers."
"My... printer in my dormitory... It's an older model." Nicolette said softly, to which Haruka looked over at her. She was quiet for a moment before giving a nod.
"Would you mind if I came to take a look at it? Whoever vandilized your bedroom might have also used your computer, and if they did, then it would be wise to check the time they used it."
Nicolette gave a small nod in return. This girl... seemed very intelligent.

Kyerin listened carefully to it, noticing what Haruka was saying... and not saying. She did point out the differences in the two, which seemed to make her think that they were different. The other remark was just that it was from someone on campus, since it was a school printer. Still, that makes it harder to track down... unless everyone could be judged on their computer skills; Haruka's computer was a hard one to hack, he would assume, due to her knowledge.
The boy nodded again, moving out of his doorway, looking back at Nicolette. "If you two would like to go do that now, I don't want to be interrupting it." He really wished that the interruption hadn't come at all; even if Haruka left, he was pretty sure that he had missed the moment. Just his luck.

Nicolette blinked before swallowing and standing up, giving a small nod in response to Kyerin's comment. "A-ah, yes... Again, I do very much apologize for the interuption I have caused to your evening." She gave a small bow of her head before she started to walk toward the exit of the dormitory.
Haruka turned to look at Kyerin. "I don't want to interupt the rest of your evening, so I will report my findings to you tomorrow... Oh, but before I go, I need a couple of items from you..." She paused and turned back to Nicolette. "I will meet you at your dormitory room. I have a few things I need to collect before I can join you. Which room is it?"
Nicolette gave a small nod at the first part of Haruka's comment. "Room 905, on the ninth floor."
Haruka nodded and Nicolette left. The tenth year then turned her attention back to her upperclassman.
"I need my flashdrive with the information I collected so I can print off a new set of copies." She stated, slipping casually back into Japanese. "Also, I am going to need access to the Student Freedom Force Office, Student Council office, library, and computer lab. I want to try to track down these trouble makers. While this is something right down our alley, I don't wish for our name to be tarnished in the name of trouble."

Kyerin wanted to say that it was no trouble at all to have the girl come over; he wanted to say that, after dealing with the trouble, he had enjoyed the time together. He really wanted to turn back time and not answer the door for Haruka, and see where things would have gone. But alas, he couldn't... not with Haruka there. Maybe he would contact the president at some other time.
After Nicolette had walked off, he gestured for the younger girl to come in, closing the door behind her, before walking over to the table where he and the president had been sitting at just moments ago, kneeling to access a drawer in it. "This doesn't seem to be something an SFF member would do,"[/i] he stated, slipping into Japanese as well. "It feels almost juevenile in terms of actions, so it may be one of the younger students."[/i]
Kyerin pulled open the drawer, moving the few papers in it on top of the table, before taking a pen from inside the drawer, and pushing it back down on the bottom. After a moment, he was able to lift the fake bottom to the drawer out of it, withdrawing a small flash drive along with a key. "Here's my flash drive with all of the files you gave me, along with a copy of my key. Keep it; I don't think you can get into the Student Council room, but most of the other rooms can be unlocked by it. I would like the flash drive back, however, after you are done using it."[/i]
The young man handed off the two items to Haruka, before placing the fake bottom back into the drawer, and the covering papers on top of it. "Also... we might need to have a brief meeting soon... no, probably an e-mail sent out to members."[/i] He mused a bit as he rose, before presenting the topic vocally. "If Miss Nicolette had not been so distraught about her room and skirt, she would have wondered about why a girl a year younger than me was coming up to my room, along with the fact as to why you were speaking Japanese, both definate red flags. If we want to keep membership a secret, we need to have some sort of story set aside for all members on how we know each other."[/i]

Haruka took both items and slid them into her uniform pocket. She would make a point of going into the school later that evening in order to take a look at the printers. She picked up her files again, looking them over and shaking her head.
"I do have a feeling that this was done by either the Student Freedom Force personal printer or the Student Council printer... And the only people with access to those printers are the members of those respective organizations..."
She brought her hand to her mouth in deep thought, leaning lightly up against the couch next to where she stood. "How odd, attacking both sides, though... Either someone is a traitor, a spy... Or we have a whole third party on our hands. Whatever the case, I don't like the idea of someone other than us messing with the Student Council, since we'll be blamed for it regardless of it being our fault or not."
She started for the door, glancing over her shoulder at the male. "And as for a cover, just call me your cousin... We're both Japanese, and look similar enough for it to be a decent cover. I'm one of the only members who has the guts to seek you out on your free time anyways." She smirked.

Kyerin sat back down in one of the chairs in his room, closing his eyes for a moment to muse over it, before shaking his head. "It doesn't feel like a traitor or a spy... your coverage of our members is too good for us to have a spy in our midst, and we haven't planted one in the student council. It feels like a third side is rising; one that just wants to mess with both of us. The people on it are childish, though, so we should keep a closer eye on things as to find a mistake and remove them from the board. Chess is a game for two people, not three."[/i]
At Haruka's remark about them being related, the boy had to chuckle. True, it was a good idea... at least, for someone who didn't know much about the subtle differences in the Japanese population. They had a few matching features... well, maybe just enough to even pass as cousins within their country. "That should work. I'll make sure to contact everyone to have them direct matters that need to be taken of in person not in the office through you. It wouldn't be odd for cousins to spend some time together every once and a while."[/i] He pulled back out the work he had been doing before, before looking back over at the door where the younger girl stood. "Have a good evening."[/i]
