About The Plot
The T'zenshin Institute is a special high school created specially for gifted students. Gifted does vary by definition, and all are accepted, whether you have a photographic memory, or you have had a sex change operation and want to start anew, or you are a spellcaster, a werewolf, or other sort of magical being. It's a school where any gifted student can join and learn with no fear of having their secrets revealed; all is confidential, and everyone there knows that everyone else is special.
About the RPG
The T'zenshin Institute is an intermediate/advanced role playing site. Please bring forth effort in your posts and try to work with the plot line. Feel and understand the rivalry that the Student Council and the Student Freedom Force feel. But before any of this, please do remember to have fun because that is the true reason for role playing!

APPEARANCE DETAILS
Appearance:
For his age, Sven appears to be a lot older than he really is, nearing the twenty mark. He stands at five feet and eleven inches tall, a decent height for a man his age, which means he has done all of his growing. His body is slender but holds muscle here and there especially on his stomach and upper arm areas. His face is slightly longer than usual and his chin is less rounded off like a lot of guys his age. Just the way he stands and looks, he has a very formal, English air about him.
Sven's short hair is jet black but has a silvery blue shine to it in some places when he's in light. Two locks of his hair are noticeably longer than the rest of his hair and sit on one side of his face each, framing it in a way. His bangs part to the left side of his face and are short at the start and gradually get longer the further away from the parting they are. They, however, do not cover his unsually cardinal red coloured eyes. His eyes are narrow and are a main reason why he seems older than he is.
Clothing Style: Sven is very formal and when outside of his school uniform he will stick to slacks, flats and dress shirts, sometimes with a tie and blazer. An example of something he would wear to a meeting of the Student Council is; A pair of black slacks that are a little baggy around his legs, accomanpied by a pair of black lace up shoes. To cover his torso he would where a white dress shirt that buttoned up and had a few black stripes going down the middle where the shirt buttoned. To keep warm he would where a black blazer with cuffs. This is also usually accompanied by a pair of white olden day looking gloves. On a normal day he would most likely ditch the blazer and also wear a less formal looking dress shirt.
Special Accessories: A pair of white olden day gloves and also a pocket watch that is on a very long silver chain that he attaches to his belt.
PERSONALLY
Over-all Personality:
There are two words that can describe Sven, calm and collected. He finds it incredibly easy to keep a straight face, no matter what the reason or situation is. It makes it quite difficult for people to know whether he's joking or not, somewhat like a pokerface in way. His father was a butler at a very large, rich mansion when he was little so some of that formality and being a gentleman has rubbed off on Sven and is a part of his every day life. He speaks very formally and is extremely polite to anyone he meets, he also has a habit of making very detailed and long, exaggerated explanations about things.
Sven is rather witty and always a comeback for people, and often his remarks only intensify someones anger with him because he's always so calm and barely anything phases him. But this is only so he can keep his emotions under control to stop his gift from settling in, turning into a crow or a cat isn't his idea of fun.
Coffee would have to be his favourite thing above all, but he is trying his best to stop it from being an addiction of his but he is nearly almost always seen with a cup of it. He's the main person who buys it at the instant coffee vender on campus. He also likes spicy food which isn't something you would expect from someone from his background. Loud noises and disruptions annoy Sven and he goes to great lengths to regain the quiet that he wants, especially when he's reading or having a nice steaming hot cup of coffee during school breaks.
He enjoys literature and English as a subject, he excels excellently through it and is thinking about journalism as an upcoming job after he graduates. He yearns to find someone to love yet he knows he could never actually feel that way about someone or he would forever be a cat. He gets extremely depressed over it. Also, most people think he's asexual since he has never expressed or shown any interest in anyone.

Ever since he was born, he had been surrounded by formalities and people who were far more important and wealthier than he was ever going to be. However, with these things aside, his parents still brought him up with love and affection just like a child should. But, there was something else that was brought with him into the world, part of which was because he was the first born son of his family. The first son of each branch of their family was cursed with certain parts of their emotions and would forever be for as long as they lived.
Even though his father, Will Carlisle, was not the first born son of his family, he still knew full well about the curse his son would be given. This was because his elder brother had it. In the line of Carlisle, each first born son would be cursed to turn into a certain animal that represented the emotion they were experiencing. For Sven, it was a Crow and a Cat. His animals were uncommon as most people got animals that were either one that was said to be dark and evil but also a light and fluffy one. But, Sven got both on the darker side.
Lyssa, Sven's mother cherished him properly and sent him to a normal school when his father didn't want anyone to find out about him and secretly whispered to his son that he was to stay calm and collected, just like he did when he was at work. Which is exactly what Sven did. Sven always looked up to his father.
The first few years of school went by and Sven was finding it rather easy to stay away from others and try keep his emotions on a low profile rather than expressing them like a normal child should. It was tough but he went through it anyway. There wasn't anything his parents or anyone else in his family could do to help him out since the curse dealt with emotions it was impossible to stop it from happening or let him do it on his own free will. The only advice was to just stay calm and avoid the opposite sex as much as he could, too. Even the same sex... but his father never told him that, he always thought his son would be straight.
To separate him from the world and the chances of exposure, the moment he was about to enter seventh grade, they flew him over to the little island that held the T'zenshin Institute for gifted people. Of course, they knew gifted varied from person to person and did not always mean academically gifted. But, they just thought it would be best for him to make friends that would understand him better than someone from a normal society.
After the first year at T'zenshin, he had excelled in all of the studies and was a top class student. But there was a few problems in the social area for him. He could like girls but he could never really express himself about them, he could never fall in love or else he would eternally be a cat for the rest of his life. Not until he got over the person. It had to be true love, as well. The boy fell into a spiral of depression for a few months, keeping even more to himself over that fact. It was unsettling and completely unfair for him. Quite often during those few months he would curse against his family name and ask why he was like this, how he was any different from anyone else.
The thoughts and questions for it being so unfair got to an extreme and he nearly took his life. The main reason was stated before, he felt no reason to be living if he couldn't fufill it like his father could, his father was lucky enough to be born second before his older brother and find love.
About mid way through his second year at the Institute, he found the Student Council. For weeks on end he studied them and watched them carefully, trying to muster up the courage to run for representitive of the Eighth Grade. One unfortunate day, however, he bumped into someone of the Student Council while he was walking around, the frustration of that day and still trying to get over how he will never be able to find love and now that he had bumped into someone changed him. He turned into a cat. A jet black furred cat that had piercing, yellowish green eyes. He peered out from underneath his uniform clothes and noticed he had bumped straight into the Historian of the Student Council. Forgetting about his clothes he jumped onto the window sill and disappeared out into the open, trying to to get over it all.
Sven had escaped before the girl could noticed him but he was sure she would be insanely confused about the clothes in front of her. It took about an hour for him to change back as he could not get over his frustration of how shitty his day had been. But some realisation had come over him during his transformation. He was going to get over himself... He didn't need to love another person to be happy, he was going to get up tomorrow morning and ask to be the representitive for the Eight Grade of the Student Council.
Which is exactly what he did.
During his time as a representitive, he developed a very calm and collective personality again that suppressed all of his other emotions so he could think clearly. Over the next few years at the T'zenshin Institute, he showed that he was responsible, respectful and a wonderful addition to the Student Council team and was elected as Vice President in his Eleventh Year. From then on, being able to be a part of such a wonderful team and focus on things other than girls and being jealous of other people and their lives. He could focus on being himself and enjoying his life.
Secrets: That whenever he returns back from being a crow or a cat he is naked. So far, he's gotten through his years at the T'zenshin Institute with only a few slip ups in and there but he is sure no one actually saw who he was, exactly. At least, he hopes to god that they didn't.
Gift:
Sven's gift has a lot to do with his emotions. Depending on which one he feels he either turns into a cat or a crow. Jealousy, envy or grief will turn him into a crow and when he experiences fear, frustration or love, he changes into a cat. These emotions have to be nearing the extreme areas for this to happen though. Also, these transformations will last for around an hour or so, depending on the strength of the emotion, if he can get over it quickly, he could be transformed back into a human within five minutes if he wanted.
